Chapter 10: Prepare For the Banquet

As Wendy had said yesterday, Damian had to be prepared because the Clayton family wanted to throw a banquet party for his wedding with Wendy.

And Damian believed that the Clayton family intended to embarrass him at the party. Damian didn't want that to happen because it would make his position difficult in the Clayton family.

"System, can you help me?" Damian asked his system.

[Indeed, what does the Host need right now?]

"I can't be humiliated at the party. Can you do something for me?" Damian hoped that the system would give him something.

Right now since Damian was completely down and he didn't have the wealth he had before, he desperately needed money right now.

[Actually, the System did not want to give the Host a mission yet. But, if the Host really wanted to make money, the System could give the Host a mission]

"Sure, I'll do it!" Damian was determined to make money this time.

Damian was currently at home at the moment, preparing to leave together with Wendy.

So it was very likely that Damian would be played again by Wendy's brothers. Damian smirked, he would use this to complete his mission.

"Then, what will I get after completing your mission?" Damian wanted to confirm what reward he would get after completing the mission from the system.

[Not only would the Host get HP, the Host would also get Points that could be redeemed for real-world money]

"That's what I need!" Damian was even more excited after hearing the System's explanation.

With a burning enthusiasm, Damian stepped out to prepare to go with Wendy to her boutique.

Just as Damian came out of the room he shared with Wendy, he already saw George not far away.

Damian grinned secretly, then walked towards the dining table where George was, he wanted to see what George would do to him.

Arriving at the dining table Damian could see that Sarah was already there eating breakfast while staring at her cell phone. George was also there drinking his coffee.

Damian sat there too, even though he was sitting quite a distance away from the two of them.

Although Damian was often humiliated in the house, the maids still served him even though they were quite cold and cynical when talking to him.

"Bring me some bread and sausages," Damian said to the maid.

Even though the maid didn't reply to Damian's words, she still went to the kitchen to bring Damian's request.

Then, George was seen smiling slyly when he saw Damian's behavior, he walked closer to Damian and intended to do something to him.

Damian pretended not to see George's arrival, but he actually knew that he was coming towards him while carrying his coffee cup.

Already knowing that George wanted to do his trick from yesterday, before George got close to him, Damian quietly stuck out his leg to trip George's leg.

As George was too proud to embarrass Damian, he didn't see Damian's leg sticking out in his way.

The incident happened quickly when George tripped over Damian's foot and fell down with his coffee cup.

"This bastard wants to play games with me," Damian thought happily as he saw George get his comeuppance.

To avoid suspicion, Damian himself backed up with the chair he was sitting on and almost fell over.

"Oh my, what's wrong with you George?" Damian got up from his position and intended to help George.

However, George rudely swatted Damian's outstretched hand away from him.

"Go away you bastard! It's because you're here that I'm unlucky." George left the dining room at a fast pace.

Damian could see George's ears turning red, like he was leaving in shame after falling flat on his face.

"Do you need anything, Sarah?" Damian turned his head as he felt Sarah staring at him.

"Shouldn't you be cleaning up after George?" With a cold face Sarah told Damian to clean up George's coffee spills that were scattered around the dining room.

"Why should I? Isn't there a maid here? Or does your family not have the money to hire a maid?" Damian tilted his head innocently.

Sarah's face hardened when she heard how Damian answered her. But, slowly a smirk appeared on Sarah's face.

Sarah walked towards Damian, once she was close enough she grabbed Damian's collar and whispered sharply to him.

"Even my family can buy your life, so isn't it your job to clean up this mess?" Sarah whispered with an evil grin.

Damian just smiled knowingly, he remembered that he also acted this arrogant and disgusting when he had everything in his hands back then.

With just a little strength Damian released Sarah's grip on his collar.

"I don't need your family's money. It seems like you're the one who still needs your father's money, why don't you clean up your brother's mess?" Damian patted Sarah lightly on the shoulder, then turned around with a smile leaving Sarah alone there.

Just as Damian walked out of the dining room, he could hear Sarah screaming in frustration.

Damian grinned happily after successfully teaching those two annoying people a lesson.

Afterwards, Damian checked his mission progress in the Quest Windows that the system displayed for him.

Although Damian had to give up his breakfast, but at least it was worth it because he could get 2 objectives from his mission.

Damian also chose to go to the garage to prepare to leave with Wendy, for some reason he still hadn't seen Wendy until now.

Damian happened to see a maid walking towards him, he stopped her to say something.

"Do I see where Wendy is?" Damian asked after stopping the maid.

"If I'm not mistaken Miss Wendy was summoned by the great lord, sir." The maid bowed politely before leaving.

"Alright, thank you." Damian decided to wait for Wendy in her car.

Damian also waited near the car because today he would be driving the car. Whereas before Damian always used a driver if he wanted to go.

Damian couldn't complain because his current situation was karma for him who had wasted his good life.

Then, Damian was surprised by Wendy's sudden arrival.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you." Damian smiled when he saw Wendy walking towards him.

"It's normal that dad wants to do something again," Wendy replied while sighing harshly.

"Is it about the banquet party?" asked Damian.

"Yes, it seems that the banquet is inevitable." Wendy gave Damian a worried look.

Damian rubbed the side of Wendy's shoulder gently, trying to calm her down.

"Take it easy, I won't let them humiliated you there." Damian was very confident that he could complete the mission from the system.

And Damian had already prepared a plan to prevent himself and Wendy from being humiliated at the upcoming banquet.
