The demon beasts drew closer to the two of them, Cleon immediately prepared to welcome their arrival. Dante looked quite panicked because this was the first time there had been such a large number of demon beasts. Moreover, their level was quite high compared to all the demon beasts he had fought.

 

“No Cleon, we have to retreat. They are too dangerous!” shouted Dante with a panicked expression.

 

"Don't worry Daddy, everything will be fine. Father quickly went for cover."

 

Cleon looked so calm as the demon beast got closer, he immediately raised his wand. A huge magical energy began to appear making Dante immediately move away from Cleon. Splashes of water began to come out and form a dragon's head with a giant size. With a sharp gaze Cleon aimed his magic at the demon beast that was heading towards him.

 

“Water Dragon Cannon!!”

 

“Woooossssshhhh!!”

 

The attack from Cleon's magic was unleashed, a gigantic water dragon flew at high speed and hit all the demon beasts. It didn't stop there, Cleon's hand was still able to control the attack, he raised his hand up. The water dragon flew very fast upwards, then with a single slap Cleon's hand directed his attack back at the demon beast.

 

“Duuuuaargghhhh!!!”

 

The attack from the water dragon came from above, creating a tremendous explosion that affected the entire area around it. A very strong wind blew accompanied by a burst of Cleon's attack, making the area like rain instantly. Cleon stood up and smiled with a breath that was quite heavy because he was expending quite a lot of magic energy.

 

A large hole was formed due to Cleon's attack and also all the demon beasts died instantly.

 

“Actually as I thought that this magic is quite heavy when I use it, I have to set the right time so that the magic I use can be maximized,” Cleon muttered after seeing the results of his own magic.

 

Cleon looked at his wand, he felt that his attack just now weighed too much on his wand. Maybe if you use it carelessly, it will crack the magic stone in the wand. "I have to be careful."

 

Cleon walked closer to the demon beasts, he wanted to get a close look at what they really looked like. But suddenly as he approached, a thin black smoke emitted from each of the demon beast's bodies, then flew away just like that.

 

"What's that smoke? Is someone controlling them?” Cleon muttered to himself while watching the demon beasts.

 

Dante walked closer to Cleon. “Are you all right, Cleon?”

 

"Yes, of course. Do these demon beasts always attack in groups like this?” Cleon asked.

 

“No, this is the first time I've seen something like this happen, usually demon beasts attack by themselves, even if there are two or more they are definitely far apart. These demon beasts are on a different level, I have a bit of a bad feeling about this.”

 

Cleon started to think that someone was really controlling them through the black smoke he just saw. Because in her previous life Cleon had watched movies about magic many times so there was a high chance that something like that could actually happen in this world.

 

“Then what do we do with these demon beasts, Father?”

 

"We melt them."

 

Dante took out a liquid that he had brought from home, then he splashed the liquid on all the demon beasts.

 

"What is it for, Father?" Cleon asked.

 

“Since Father is not very good at using magic, then this water will help to melt them all. This is holy water that is used specifically for melting demon beasts, because if they are not smelted they may be revived.”

 

Dante began to cast a magic spell. “To the lords of the forest, to the God of the sky, the great fire will destroy all. Smelter Fire!!”

 

Instantly all of the demon beasts were burnt to the point of nothingness, not even ashes were left there. Seeing that incident Cleon noticed everything his father did in smelting the demon beast.

 

Then Cleon remembered that there was still a demon beast that he defeated the first time, Cleon immediately ran towards the demon beast. He saw that the demon beast was still in the same place, then Cleon raised his right hand and started to concentrate. He tried to smelt like his father did just now.

 

“To the lords of the forest, to the God of the sky, the great fire will destroy all. Smelter Fire!!”

 

The demon beast immediately caught fire, Cleon managed to smelt without the help of the holy water used by his father. “It turned out like that huh.”

 

Cleon suddenly remembered the woman he helped earlier, he went back and looked for the woman but she was not there. Then Dante walked towards Cleon who looked confused.

 

"What's wrong, Cleon?" asked Dante.

 

"Did you see the woman we helped earlier?"

 

"No, Dad didn't see him, maybe he's gone home. We are going through this forest one more time to make sure there are no more demon beasts running amok.”

 

"Okay dad."

 

Dante and Cleon began their journey through the eastern forest, so far as they did the search there was nothing suspicious, all that was left there were traces of the demon monsters they had just defeated. The damage caused by the demon beasts seemed quite severe, luckily the demon beasts didn't reach the resident area.

 

Unbeknownst to the two of them, someone was watching from a distance. That person noticed that since Dante and Cleon's arrival in the forest, he just left when the two of them finished smelting the demon beasts.

At another place.

 

There were three people sitting while listening to the report from the person who had just arrived. The three of them wore black robes with a wolf logo on the back.

 

The person who had a tall stature sat leisurely while listening to the report, he was the one who seemed to be the leader. One more person has a large body with arm muscles that look very well trained. While the other is a woman who has a small body and looks mysterious.

 

The report given was about the fight that Cleon and Dante had against the demon beasts.

 

"So there's someone interesting from that border village huh?" said the person who has a tall body. "I became curious about the kid, it seems he has a pretty good natural talent."

 

They are all the devil's auxiliary organization that is Dark Fox.
