Chapter 7

Felix, Keith, and the third guy arrived at Mr Lorenzo's mansion and stepped out of the car as they both helped Keith out.

"Take him to the health centre quickly!" Felix yelled so the third guy could know where he was leading to.

Keith was taken to the health centre within the premises and Felix went to meet Lorenzo immediately with the other guy following behind him.

They entered Mr Lorenzo's office but Mr Lorenzo wasn't there.

Felix slapped his hand against his forehead. "Of course, he's asleep in his room," Felix said.

"Do you think we should wait till morning before we convey the news to him?" the man with Felix asked.

"We'll have to wait till morning. Lorenzo hates his sleep being cut short by anything." Felix replied and the other man nodded.

*The next morning*

Mr Lorenzo stepped out of his room only to meet the faces of Felix and the second guy in front of his bedroom door.

"What are you two doing here?" Mr Lorenzo asked.

"They knew." the guy with Felix said to Mr Lorenzo.

"I don't understand." Mr Lorenzo replied.

"Sir. We went to the location and entered the senator's room only to see a woman seated on his bed. She was dressed in black and attacked like a pro. Someone among us leaked our plans out." Felix explained to Mr Lorenzo.

"What?!" Mr Lorenzo shouted, already fuming.

"So there is a rat among us?! That person will certainly be caught and ended! But first, you said there was a woman dressed in all black?" Mr Lorenzo replied Felix.

"Yes sir," Felix answered.

Mr Lorenzo scoffed and then smiled when he realized something. " So our two years long agreement has been breached?" Mr Lorenzo said.

Felix looked confused.

"You mean the spy organisation sir?" the other guy said.

"Yes. They are the only ones that can carry out something like that. Where else do they have such strong women apart from this place? You said she attacked like a pro didn't you?" Mr Lorenzo asked Felix.

Felix nodded affirmatively.

"I have an urgent call to make since that's the case now." Mr Lorenzo said.

*A dark room (location yet to be known)*

Though the room was dark, the presence of another could be felt.

"You chose to meet up in a dark room? Though decision for a woman." a man's voice sounded in the darkness.

"Don't talk as if you don't know who I am Christoph." a lady replied.

"Hm." Christoph squinted his eyes at the lady but could see nothing and just gave up.

Christoph has been working with her but he had no idea what she looked like outside the darkness or what face was behind that black mask.

"Here it is. Your pay for the information." the lady said and shoved some dollar bills into Christoph's hand.

"How am I sure that it's complete?" Christoph questioned the lady.

"And since when have I ever failed in payment?" the mysterious lady replied.

Christoph left after being given directions on his next move but the lady stood there silent and alone in the dark room, letting her thoughts wander off.

She recalled last night and she could not let the memory of her fight with Felix go.

"How did he manage to last that long in a fight with me? I usually pin them down faster than anything."

"Whoever he is, I'll make sure I win the next round if we ever meet again."

*One week later, at Mr Lorenzo's mansion*

Although Mr Lorenzo had many men working for him, he decides to pick ten to go with him to a meeting he forced into place.

It was a meeting between the spy organisation and the criminal organisation and it was regarding the breach of territories at the night when Felix was to ambush the senator with two other men.

Mr Lorenzo chose Felix, Sami, Christoph, and seven others to go with him to the location where the meeting would be held.

"Where is Felix?" Mr Lorenzo asked Sami after he entered the limousine.

"How should I know?" Sami thought but didn't dare to say it out loud. He hated everyone but that didn't mean he should end his life by his words.

"I don't know sir," Sami answered Mr Lorenzo.

"I'm sure he can find his way to the meeting place. He's the next in line after all. Would he be worthy enough if he needed us to babysit him?" Sami added.

"You are simply losing your status, Sami. Stupidity is not an attribute I plan on teaching to my men." Mr Lorenzo said.

Mr Lorenzo turned to Christoph, "Stay back and make sure you come with Felix to the place we're to meet." Mr Lorenzo said to Christoph.

Christoph nodded and stepped out of the limousine.

Just seconds after the limousine left, Christoph spotted Felix approaching from afar and with the company.

Diana paused in her steps when she saw Christoph watching them from afar.

Felix saw Diana's mood change and looked towards that direction that Diana did.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Felix asked Diana.

"Huh? Nothing. Just that... Why is that strange man staring at us like that? It's weird and scary." Diana replied Felix.

Felix laughed but Diana frowned at him. "Why are you laughing? Do you two know each other?" Diana asked Felix.

Before Felix could answer Diana's question, Diana's phone rang.

Diana picked up and looked relieved by the time she put her phone back into her handbag.

"I'll have to go. Mom needs my help with something." Diana said and was about to rush away but Felix held her back.

"Is there something wrong?" Felix asked, feeling concerned.

"No. Not at all." Diana rushed to answer Felix at the same time that Christoph began to approach them.

Diana gave Felix a quick peck on the cheek and ran off.

Felix felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around to find Christoph standing right there.

"Your girlfriend ran off before you could introduce us," Christoph said.

"There is no one to introduce her to Christoph. She's mine and only mine." Felix retorted.

"Chill Felix. No one said she wasn't. Now come with me. We have to leave for the meeting." Christoph said to Felix and got another driver to drop them at their destination.

On getting there and coming out of the car, Christoph and Felix were approached by a man.

"We came here as members of the criminal organisation for the meeting," Christoph said to the man.

The man pulled on a lever which he uncovered from the sand ground and an opening came to view.

Christoph and Felix went in and were led to the place where the meeting was being held.

Felix was amazed by what he saw because everything looked like it was from the future.

Christoph took a seat on the side of the room meant for the Mafia and Felix chose to stand right next to Lorenzo.

The meeting went on as the late coming of Christoph and Felix did not distract them from it.

"How do you mean that your side did not breach the Mafia territory of this city? We let you live here in peace does not mean you can live on your terms." Mr Lorenzo voiced to the head of the spy organisation who goes by the name Gabriel.

"Lorenzo..." Gabriel was about to speak but was interrupted by the second in command who was seemingly annoyed by something.

"How come two people from your side arrived late Mr Lorenzo? Not just that but one of them chooses to remain standing. We are all required to stand aren't we?" the second in command of the spy organisation, Daniel, said.

Mr Lorenzo looked at Daniel from head to toe and felt too high in status to answer such a stupid argument.

"Felix?" Lorenzo called.

"Yes sir?" Felix answered.

"Anything you have to say to him?" Mr Lorenzo asked Felix.
