First Match

" Kevin, you have a blade. When you said you saw a dead flower become colourful, I discovered your special ability, Can anyone guess? "

Mr Clerk asked them.

" Maybe some kind of healing ability? " Benjamin said.

"Yes. "Mr Clerk said. He was impressed.

And then "what do you think Benjamin's ?"

" I have no idea, " Kevin said. Benjamin was also silent.

" Ice. It's ice... you can control and create ice. That's why your whole body resembles ice." Mr Clerk explained.

"Both of you are treasures to us. Because late bloomers are somewhat special. They can hide their abilities. For example, look at Mr Mike. He said both of you asked him to show his form. He is a normal person like others. 

You already saw that some of his body parts changed. But you can control when you transform your body. Kevin, you can keep your hand as normal, when you transform into a vampire. That's what's special. 

You don't have to show off your every part. So you are somewhat lucky.. "

When Mr Clerk said that, they were surprised. If it's possible, that will be a good chance for them in the future.  

" I am gonna teach you how to do that, and also we should try once to use your powers." Mr Clerk said.

After a tiring day, Kevin can change into his second form without the blade. Benjamin is also able to hide his wings. And also Kevin learned some movements to use his hand blade and how to use his healing ability. Using his power he was able to grow his golden hair back, which was cut by himself accidentally. 

Benjamin created ice. He can do a lot of things with ice. Benjamin and Kevin learned everything so fast. And they became more and more close.

They looked like brothers more than friends.

When Mr Clerk saw that their friendship has become stronger, he thought that it will be hard for them to separate. These two reminded them of his best friend. 

" Young age is the best, " He thought to himself.

Mr Clerk was so proud of them. Kevin succeeded in everything he did. But Benjamin still couldn't make use of his wings. He couldn't fly. He bearly moved them. But he didn't have enough strength to fly or to make a big move. 

" It's okay. Mike will teach you. He can help you with this matter. In the class, you can learn about that. "

" Okay, sir... I will try my best "

" Good... Then Shall we stop here? I hope you will learn more and get stronger in the future. All the best.."

 

" We will, sir ...Thank you very much for your help"

They thanked Mr Clerk countless times and then left the main hall. They felt so proud. It was just another feeling.

 When they reached their room, Alex and Mark were studying. When they saw Benjamin and Kevin, they rushed to them and said that they missed them even though it was one day... Then they chatted for a while. That scene was so lovely. It looked like a family that reunited after a long time.

The next day, in the classroom Mike said that he has good news for his class.

"Benjamin has already awakened his beast form. So from now on, he also can learn with you together. "

" Hah! Then why don't you show us? Who is he? Maybe a rabbit or something like that? " Max asked with an insulting look. 

Others looked at him angrily.

" You should learn to respect others first .. "  Mike also said. But he didn't say anything more than that. But Mike looks like having something on his mind.

" Okay, Shall we see, What have you got? "

" Yes sir.."

Then Benjamin transformed in front of everyone. But he didn't expose his wings. He hid them. Because he and Kevin were ordered to do hid the wings and the blade by Mr Clerk. After he transformed everyone in the class looked at him with big eyes. He was so handsome with his long white hair. And also the red eyes. 

" Are you a bunny? red eyes? why did you turn into an old man? " Ha ha...  Max laughed. 

" What about having a match with him, Max? " Mike asked with a smirk. 

Max was so arrogant. " Sure. I am gonna scare this little bunny " 

Poor lion, he didn't even wait to listen to what kind of animal Benjamin became.

After a few moments, they were ready for the fight. Other students supported Benjamin. Max was left alone. 

Mike drew a circle middle of the classroom. 

"The first one who will step out of this circle will have to accept his defeat."

"Are you ready? "  Mike asked them. He was so excited about the first match with his students.

" Yeah, I am "

" I am okay "

Then Mike said them to start. At a glance, Max transformed and he jumped to catch Benjamin. Benjamin didn't have transformed when he was attacked by Max. But benjamin quickly understood his intention and avoided him. Then he also transformed.

 If they want to use their abilities they must transform. If not they will meet side effects which are internal damage to their bodies.

So they have to transform first. That's why Benjamin also transformed. His white hair was tied up in a ponytail with a red colour ribbon. That was a gift from Mr Clerk. Once he tied his hair by this, that will remain the same whenever he transforms. 

That was a magical ribbon. When his hair was tied up, he looks like a mature person. So handsome. His red eyes were the most attractive. That suit very well with his white hair. If someone saw him with the wings, then they will die from his handsomeness for sure.

Benjamin quickly avoided Max's attack. His claws attacked Benjamin without giving him a break. Benjamin stepped behind. 

He was so close to the line of the circle. Max thought he won. But suddenly Benjamin used his full strength and hugged Max. Then he changed the sides. Benjamin relaxed his body. 

When he relaxed Max couldn't help but lost his balance and fell with Benjamin. Max waved his claws to attack Benjamin even when they were falling. Sure enough, he was a good opponent.

But Max couldn't help but fall. He thought since both of them gonna be out of the line there will be no winner. That is also good. But to his surprise, Benjamin suddenly let go of his hands and then Max fell out of the line. But Benjamin didn't. 

How? When Max opened his eyes he saw that Benjamin has made a supporter similar to a stick with ice. He supported himself by that and avoided falling. How did he do that? That fast? 

" You are? What the hell are you? " Max asked in disbelief. 

" Do you accept your defeat? " Mike asked Max

" ... Yes, I am. I am sorry. I looked down on you" He apologized to Benjamin.

Everyone was surprised. Bt they still gave a deaf ear to him.

" It's okay... You are good at fighting. I was so shocked back then .. " Benjamin praised Max and gave a hand to him. 

Max got up with his help.

" He is an ice dragon. Ice is his power." Mike said to others. 

" Ah.. that's why his hair is like this ... That is so cool " Lily said.

" Ah... haha ...thank you guys ". He said awkwardly. Then Max and Benjamin transformed back to normal. 

Ever since that day Max also changed. He was like a different person. He never said anything disrespectful. And he became more friendly. 

Max was embarrassed when he was defeated by Benjamin. 

But when he saw Benjamin still praising him unlike him, he felt so warm. Soon after, this class became a pleasant place. 

Meanwhile, at night, Benjamin trained how to fly with Mike's instructions. After 2 months he was finally able to fly faster and have improved a lot. Then time passed so fast. Their first semester has come to an end. 

Then something happened that changed the current atmosphere of Galhand High.
