Warrior God With A System

Chapter 7

Xayn looked around and noticed that he was in a hospital but he was surprised to see himself in the hospital, Xayn was still in shock that he was in the hospital. 

‘How in the world am I here? How is all this possible? I know I was stabbed and I was dying..’ Xayn opened his shirt to see if he would see the wound that was on his belly but there was nothing there. 

“What on earth is going on here?!!” Xayn was scared, he didn't know how he was healed and how he managed to survive an attack like that. He was sure he lost a lot of blood but still there was no sign of the wound on his body and it was like he had healed automatically. 

‘Was it a dream? Or did I hit my head or something like that? Why am I not seeing the wound that was here on my tummy? What the fuck is going on here?’ 

Xayn was still scared he didn't understand what was going on or happening. 

A nurse walked in and she saw Xayn up, it was like they had been waiting for him to wake up from the coma. 

“He’s awake, call the doctor!” She yelled as she came closer to check Xayn’s vitals.

It was showing on her face clearly that she was shocked to see Xayn breathing and alive. “I really thought you were not going to wake up again after today, but here you are up and ready to go. The doctor will be with you shortly.” 

“Nurse?” Xayn called softly, it was like his voice had changed since the incident. The nurse paused and turned back to look at him, she was also surprised that he would even call her that way. 

“Yes sir? Is there anything you need?” The nurse was looking at Xayn, Xayn was surprised that he could see the energy radiating off her. It was like she was not even seeing it. 

“I wanted to ask, how long have I been here?” Xayn asked, he was sure that he had spent a day or two in the hospital. The look on the nurse’s face would show him that there was no way of telling why she was looking at him that way. 

“You have been here for three days sir,” The nurse smiled, she was trying to make sure she helped Xayn in any way she could. 

“Three days?! Wait how in the world did I get here? I was wounded badly and there was no way I could have crawled here, there has to be something that happened or someone that brought me here.” Xayn was looking around trying to see if he would see any stitches on his wound but there was nothing there. 

“We didn't see anyone bring you in, we only know you appeared on the hospital doorstep covered in blood and little bruises. We thought you were dead but it turned out that you were alive and you were just dealt with level ten injuries.”  The nurse said Xayn looked at her and noticed that she was serious and that there was nothing wrong with him. Xayn knew that everything was wrong and he needed to find out what it was. 

“Is there anything else you need help with?” The nurse asked, Xayn looked at her and shook his head. He laid back on the bed to collect his thoughts trying to process what happened but there was nothing planning through in his head. 

‘Why is everything blurry? I can only remember the voice..’ Xayn’s eyes widened as he remembered the enigmatic screen that popped up when he was on the brink of death. “It called itself the ‘System’, I wonder what that was?” 

System activated: Welcome Lord Xayn.

The screen popped up in front of Xayn  again, he was not prepared to see anything like that so it gave him a heart attack, he looked at it and tried to make it turn off.  

Xayn was astonished, he looked at the screen in amusement. ‘It's like all that crap in the video games, but different. I wonder what it does?’ 

My Duty is to make sure the Host has everything he needs to become the warrior god. 

‘Wait what? Who told you that I want to be a warrior god?’ Xayn was shocked and couldn't find a proper way of giving the system a good reply. 

You chose the warrior god; As a reward your strength, speed, stamina and power will be increased exponentially with every task you complete.

“So youre saying that I am now a power junkie? Doesn't change a  thing, I am still the same broke ass warrior I was before. Warrior or not.” Xayn tried to close his eyes, he didn't believe what he was hearing. 

The system gives you 10,000 gold coins for every completed.. 

‘Well that's too bad, I can't change the coins to real money.’ Xayn was talking quietly so he wont alarm anyone and make it look like there was something he was doing. 

The system gives the host 10,000 gold coins and the gold is put into the master’s pocket. 

Xayn was silent, he wondered why he of all people was chosen to be the host to the system, “I don't have anything to make me a promising warrior, why did it choose me?” Xayn looked at the screen. 

The system stayed quiet, Xayn soon realised  that the system was under his control. “This only happens in movies,” Xayn said as he laid on the bed, he was still shocked that there was something like this happening to him. 

Xayn was looking at the ceiling, he was trying to understand how he was going to use whatever powers the system was going to give him and most of all the amount of money he was going to get from the 10,000 gold coins.
