Chapter 1
Chapter 1
The world had changed so much after a portal opened bringing monsters from another world into Earth. This brought about the existence of hunters and warriors who made sure that the monsters didn't ruin the world.
Almost all the warriors were humans that awakened in an early age, they all bore extraordinary powers. These warriors were able to fight in the dungeons and make sure that there was order in the land, they all had extraordinary powers and abilities.
Warriors were feared like gods and they were seen as the absolute beings and no one would dare to do anything to anger them. They were powerful enough to change the world.
“How can one warrior be this useless?! Those are lower ranks of monsters, and you still can't kill it? How useless are you?” One of the warriors yelled at Xayn who was trying to hide from the goblin in front of him. They helped him kill the goblin but they were disappointed that someone in their squad could not even kill a goblin in the lowest ranks.
“I'm sorry, I don't have much fighting skills in fighting and I..” Xayn tried to speak up for himself but his squad mates didn't look like they were going to have him say anything.
“Shut the fuck up! We have to deal with our problem and yours too, I wonder why Luke has to put us on the same mission if he knows what kind of slip-up you are.” Another squad mate spoke up, Xayn was silenced and in fear, he did not dare say any other thing.
Xayn had lived almost all his life in fear, he didn't have enough strength to defend himself or even do anything that would give him enough money. Everyone saw him as nothing but a burden and a waste of time.
‘Is there a time in my life when people will see me as something more than a burden? Or am I cursed to be like this? How am I meant to take care of Mom and Kira if I can't even handle my job?’
Xayn was the only son his parents had, and he had lost his father when he was still a child; this made him take charge as the man of the house. He didn't have the physical strength or speed of the other warriors but he always made sure he did anything to see his family happy and living.
But life had never been as easy as that for him, he was seen as nothing but a weak man and he had slowly come to accept his reality as the weakest warrior in the city. Always hiding behind his squad mates, he knew there was no way for him to ever make anything out of himself. But he kept trying, he was trying to make sure he took good care of his family and his girlfriend.
“Come on Xayn here you go, although we are not meant to pay you a dime we are under the warrior’s code to make sure we pay you for every raid we take you on.” the assistant squad captain handed Xayn his pay, Xayn looked at the money in his hands.
‘50 Boris, this won't be enough but I have to manage it. At least I will have what I will use for food tonight and also some for Kira.’ Xayn put the money into his pockets trying to make sure he showed that he was grateful for them taking him to the raid even when they were not meant to take him.
“Thank you, I appreciate all you do for me.” Xayn bowed his head trying to be sure that he did not make it look like he was ungrateful.
“Don't sweat it, kid, you always show up and that is all that matters but I am worried that one day you won't make it back alive and you won't have anyone to blame if that happens to you, so please find a way and get stronger.” The Vice Captain looked at Xayn, he was the only one who would try and encourage Xayn no matter what happened. He was also the one who would protect him if there was any trouble there for them to handle.
“I will try sir, I will make sure I will get stronger to make sure that no one will have to worry about me.” Xayn smiled, he was going to make sure he did everything in his strength to make sure that he got stronger and took care of his family.
“That’s okay, for now, head home and get some rest.” The Vice Captain said as he turned away to leave. Xayn was left to pack up the equipment and send them back to the squad room.
The other squad mates were waiting for the Vice-captain to finish, they walked up to Xayn. “Hey punk,” they circled Xayn, he already knew there was no way he was going to escape them.
“I don't know if you think that this is some kind of joke but you know our squad is falling behind and do you know why?”
Xayn shook his head, he was trying to keep his head down and make sure that nothing happened to him or it would mean the end for him.
“I don't know,” Xayn looked down in fear, he knew it was not going to end well if he did anything to make them more angry than they were already.
“You act like you don't know what you are doing to the squad. You are the one pulling us back and Luke won't get rid of you like we told him. So why don't you do us a favour and quit this squad? There are other jobs for a deadbeat like you.” One of the warriors said pushing Xayn back, he wanted to see what Xayn would do.
Xayn didn't say anything, he just stood there looking at them shivering thinking that he was going to get beaten.

The heat was unbearable.Riley stood at the edge, sweat streaming down his face, his chest heaving. His body trembled from exhaustion, his infection burning like fire under his skin.Behind him, Hogan, Doyle, Miller, and Akira stayed close. Their weapons were drawn, but their eyes showed fear. The Titan raised its massive blade of shadow and fire. The flames licked the cavern ceiling, sparks falling like meteors.“You are weak,” the Titan rumbled. “You crawl, you bleed, and yet you think you can take what belongs to me?”Its furnace eyes glowed brighter, fixed on Alira. “She was always mine.”Alira lifted her head slightly, her silver eyes faint but defiant. Her voice, weak but steady, cut through the heat. “No. I will never be yours again.”Riley’s chest tightened. He gripped his broken, flickering blade tighter, though it barely glowed now. He muttered under his b

The night was silent now. Too silent. The bodies of Sean’s soldiers littered the street, blood pooling around broken armor and twisted spears. He simply stood there, smiling, and that smile made something deep inside Xayn shiver. The mask hissed in his mind. “Kill him. Crush his skull. Tear out his heart. He dares to laugh at you!”Xayn’s fist roared forward, the air splitting under its speed. At the last instant, Sean moved.Steel sang. Sean’s blade flashed like silver lightning, parrying Xayn’s punch with impossible precision. Sparks exploded as fist met steel, the shockwave rattling the buildings around them.Xayn staggered back a step, his crimson eyes narrowing. Sean had stopped him. The mask hissed with anger. “Impossible. No man can match this power.”Sean tilted his head, his smile never leaving. “So it’s true. The mask accepts you.

Warrior God With A System Chapter 21
The night wind carried the faint smell of smoke and blood. Xayn stood at the end of the alley, his chest heaving, his body still trembling from the battle with the assassins. His hand clutched the Shadowglass tightly, while the satchel containing the cursed mask pulsed faintly at his side, and there, standing in the torchlight with his men, was Sean.Sean’s polished armor gleamed even in the dim night. His eyes were sharp, filled with amusement, as though the entire world was nothing but a game for him. His cruel smile widened when he saw Xayn’s bloodied form.“Well, well,” Sean drawled. “The rat returns from the gutter. I half-expected the Black Market to chew you up and spit out your bones. But here you are.”His soldiers chuckled behind him, the sound grating like metal scraping stone.Xayn’s jaw tightened. His body screamed at him to move, to fight, but exhaustion weighed on every limb.Sean’s eyes flicked to the satchel. “And look at that. You even brought me a gift. What’s in t

The leader’s feet kicked helplessly in the air. Xayn’s masked hand squeezed tighter around his throat. Bones creaked. Veins bulged in the man’s temple. His single good eye stared in horror, his lips shaping silent pleas for mercy. The black iron mask burned hot against Xayn’s skin, fusing to him like molten fire. The red glow in its hollow eyes pulsed faster with each heartbeat. “End him,” the mask hissed. “One more squeeze. Feel his life break.”Xayn’s breath came in harsh bursts. His body trembled with unnatural strength. His muscles wanted to obey, but somewhere beneath the red haze, his own voice cried out. “No, I’m not, your puppet.” The system’s voice rang sharp in his ears.Warning: Consciousness collapse imminent.Bond at 96%.Emergency override suggested.“Override!” Xayn shouted in his mind. “Do it!”Error: Host will must resist.External override blocked. The mask laughed inside him, dark and triumphant. “You hear it, don’t you? Warrior God With A System Chapter 19
The night air was cold. The lanterns along the street swayed in the faint breeze, their dim light stretching shadows across the stone.Xayn stood in the center of the road, the Shadowglass clenched in one hand, the satchel with the mask pressing against his side. His chest still burned from the fight with Kraven, but now, he wasn’t facing one man. He was surrounded. Dozens of figures in dark cloaks and bone-white masks blocked the street. They were silent, but the air around them was heavy, dangerous, as though each breath carried the promise of violence. The leader stepped forward. His mask was different, carved into a cruel grin, painted with streaks of crimson. His voice was calm, almost polite. “Hand it over,” the man said. “The mask belongs to us.”Xayn’s body tensed. He shifted his stance, keeping his weight balanced, his eyes scanning the crowd for weaknesses. “I fought for this,” he said. “If you want it, you’ll have to take it.”The man chuckled softly. “That can be arrange
