Chapter 1
Chapter 1
The world had changed so much after a portal opened bringing monsters from another world into Earth. This brought about the existence of hunters and warriors who made sure that the monsters didn't ruin the world.
Almost all the warriors were humans that awakened in an early age, they all bore extraordinary powers. These warriors were able to fight in the dungeons and make sure that there was order in the land, they all had extraordinary powers and abilities.
Warriors were feared like gods and they were seen as the absolute beings and no one would dare to do anything to anger them. They were powerful enough to change the world.
“How can one warrior be this useless?! Those are lower ranks of monsters, and you still can't kill it? How useless are you?” One of the warriors yelled at Xayn who was trying to hide from the goblin in front of him. They helped him kill the goblin but they were disappointed that someone in their squad could not even kill a goblin in the lowest ranks.
“I'm sorry, I don't have much fighting skills in fighting and I..” Xayn tried to speak up for himself but his squad mates didn't look like they were going to have him say anything.
“Shut the fuck up! We have to deal with our problem and yours too, I wonder why Luke has to put us on the same mission if he knows what kind of slip-up you are.” Another squad mate spoke up, Xayn was silenced and in fear, he did not dare say any other thing.
Xayn had lived almost all his life in fear, he didn't have enough strength to defend himself or even do anything that would give him enough money. Everyone saw him as nothing but a burden and a waste of time.
‘Is there a time in my life when people will see me as something more than a burden? Or am I cursed to be like this? How am I meant to take care of Mom and Kira if I can't even handle my job?’
Xayn was the only son his parents had, and he had lost his father when he was still a child; this made him take charge as the man of the house. He didn't have the physical strength or speed of the other warriors but he always made sure he did anything to see his family happy and living.
But life had never been as easy as that for him, he was seen as nothing but a weak man and he had slowly come to accept his reality as the weakest warrior in the city. Always hiding behind his squad mates, he knew there was no way for him to ever make anything out of himself. But he kept trying, he was trying to make sure he took good care of his family and his girlfriend.
“Come on Xayn here you go, although we are not meant to pay you a dime we are under the warrior’s code to make sure we pay you for every raid we take you on.” the assistant squad captain handed Xayn his pay, Xayn looked at the money in his hands.
‘50 Boris, this won't be enough but I have to manage it. At least I will have what I will use for food tonight and also some for Kira.’ Xayn put the money into his pockets trying to make sure he showed that he was grateful for them taking him to the raid even when they were not meant to take him.
“Thank you, I appreciate all you do for me.” Xayn bowed his head trying to be sure that he did not make it look like he was ungrateful.
“Don't sweat it, kid, you always show up and that is all that matters but I am worried that one day you won't make it back alive and you won't have anyone to blame if that happens to you, so please find a way and get stronger.” The Vice Captain looked at Xayn, he was the only one who would try and encourage Xayn no matter what happened. He was also the one who would protect him if there was any trouble there for them to handle.
“I will try sir, I will make sure I will get stronger to make sure that no one will have to worry about me.” Xayn smiled, he was going to make sure he did everything in his strength to make sure that he got stronger and took care of his family.
“That’s okay, for now, head home and get some rest.” The Vice Captain said as he turned away to leave. Xayn was left to pack up the equipment and send them back to the squad room.
The other squad mates were waiting for the Vice-captain to finish, they walked up to Xayn. “Hey punk,” they circled Xayn, he already knew there was no way he was going to escape them.
“I don't know if you think that this is some kind of joke but you know our squad is falling behind and do you know why?”
Xayn shook his head, he was trying to keep his head down and make sure that nothing happened to him or it would mean the end for him.
“I don't know,” Xayn looked down in fear, he knew it was not going to end well if he did anything to make them more angry than they were already.
“You act like you don't know what you are doing to the squad. You are the one pulling us back and Luke won't get rid of you like we told him. So why don't you do us a favour and quit this squad? There are other jobs for a deadbeat like you.” One of the warriors said pushing Xayn back, he wanted to see what Xayn would do.
Xayn didn't say anything, he just stood there looking at them shivering thinking that he was going to get beaten.

Warrior God With A System Chapter 26
A blast of white-silver light tore through the cavern. Xayn stumbled back, shielding his face as wind howled from the center of the chamber. Stones ripped from the walls, chains snapped, and the torches went out one by one. Dust filled the air until he could barely breathe. “Lia!” he shouted. “Stop!”But it wasn’t Lia anymore. The girl on the floor rose slowly, her hair floating around her as if underwater. The marks of the seal blazed across her skin like living fire. Her eyes glowed pure silver, no pupils, no warmth, just cold light. The ground trembled. Cracks raced across the floor, spreading like lightning.System: “Warning. Unknown energy detected. Intensity, catastrophic.”Xayn took a step forward, his voice trembling. “Lia, it’s me. It’s Xayn. You’re safe now.”Her gaze snapped toward him. The air shuddered. When she spoke, her voice was layered, two tones overlapping, Lia’s soft one and another deeper, older, filled with fury. “You should not have freed me.”The mask pulsed

Warrior God With A System Chapter 25
The sky above the city was pale and gray, the first sign of dawn breaking through the night. A thin fog crawled across the streets, softening the edges of broken walls and burnt wood.Xayn’s footsteps echoed dully as he stumbled through the alleyway. His entire body throbbed with exhaustion. Dried blood streaked his arms. The Shadowglass still glowed faintly in his fist, pulsing like a dying heart. The mask was still on his face.No matter how many times he clawed at it, the iron refused to come off. The edges had fused to his skin, cold and hot all at once. He could feel it breathing, like something alive pressed against his soul.System: “Bond locked. Artifact stable at 99.9%. Warning: external removal impossible.”He ignored it. All he could think of was Lia. He had been gone for too long. Every second mattered. The streets looked different now. Quiet. Deserted. Even the stray market lights had gone out. He turned down the narrow road that led to the safe house, the one he and Ki

Warrior God With A System Chapter 24
The world was black. Not silent, though. The mask laughed in the darkness, its voice echoing like a storm in his skull. “You’re mine now. All mine. No more pretending. No more fighting.”Xayn tried to speak, but his lips wouldn’t move. His body felt heavy, trapped, as if he had been chained in molten iron, then another voice cut through, smooth, steady, calm. “Not yet. He’s still useful.”Xayn’s eyes snapped open. He was no longer on the blood-soaked streets of the Black Market.Instead, he stood in a strange void. The ground was black stone, cracked with glowing veins of red. Shadows swirled like smoke, wrapping around him. Above, the sky was endless and empty, yet alive with whispers, and standing in front of him was the red-eyed man.The cloak around his body swayed though there was no wind. His hood shadowed his face, but his glowing eyes cut through the dark like twin blades.“You’ve walked far,” the man said softly. “Farther than I expected. Most who wear that mask don’t last a

Warrior God With A System Chapter 23
The night was silent now. Too silent. The bodies of Sean’s soldiers littered the street, blood pooling around broken armor and twisted spears. The torches guttered in the breeze, their light flickering over the ruined stones. Xayn knelt in the center, his chest rising and falling heavily. The mask still clung to his face. It pulsed with heat, its hollow crimson eyes glowing faintly, each beat in rhythm with his racing heart. His hands trembled as he reached for the edges of the iron. He tried to rip it off, as he had before, but it didn’t move. His fingers scraped against the cold metal. His nails dug until they bled. Nothing. The mask laughed softly inside his mind. “I told you… this time, you don’t take me off.”The system’s voice crackled in his ear, weak but urgent.Warning: Host identity collapsing.Bond stabilizing at 99.6%.Immediate removal required.Xayn growled through clenched teeth. “Then help me!
