Chapter 24: The Ranking List

“Anyways, let’s check the ranking list, no knowledge is a waste.”

“Fine fine, I’ll open it up.” Which Velma did only for them to get shocked the more at the sight of the list.

At that moment, the door opened up and Eugene walked in with a lot of paper snack bags and an annoyed face . He marched in protest towards them, gently dropped the bag, squatted in front of their confused faces and spoke up, saying,

“You guys are quite deranged, I think. How do you even know my number and again, had the guts to even order me to fetch some snacks while coming, according to you, “because what you will about to see will get you thirsty”.

By the way, I couldn’t complain since you saved my ass. After being an introvert for a year, I’ll definitely tell you that being an extrovert does takes a lot of energy away from you.

I surprisingly got popular after the gauntlet brawl and I have been receiving so much attention that I can’t breathe well any more. “Wow, that’s gonna hurt his pride, Velma.” Jixie spoke up.

“Huh? Whaf fif I fu now? (Huh? What did I do now?)” Velma asks as she was in total confusion on what Jixie meant.

Eugene then sits on the floor, took his iced coffee and donut and finally asked, “anyways, why did you guys call me up?” Hearing his question, Velma took a big gulp with the aid of her drink and brought out the red file and placing it in front of Eugene.

“Uhmm...... What’s that? And why were you sitting on it?” Eugene asked with a hint of suspiciousness in his voice.

“Never mind the sitting on top of it but the file you are seeing now, is the Randie’s state police report on the ranking order of Randie’s top gangs.” Jixie explained.

“What? Are you serious?” Eugene exclaimed as he quickly drops his snacks and his drink and picked up the file, opened it and took out the written document and read it, as well as commenting on it,

“Number 12, the Gangster Hood gang? Woah, that is indeed wild.”

“Yeah, just forget about them, rush through the rest.” Velma suggests as she goes back into munching her snacks.

“Number 11, The Black Crooks of Black Valley City. A gang headed by a male named, Jamie Callisto, aka The Long Don. 21 years of age, 7 feet tall!? This guy is fucking tall! Was that the reason for the word, ‘long’ in his nickname?” Eugene exclaimed being impressed as he reads out the document.

“That probably must be it, after all, I can’t seem to know any other reason.” Jixie responds in agreement to Eugene’s theory.

“Notable records are; murder, blackmailing, political and business manipulation and normalised public confrontation.

Number 10, a female gang that goes by the name, Pinky Pops of the Blossoms City. Headed by an influential high school child of the Randie state’s assembly’s senate, Chaniel Westsheer, aka Cotton Candy and of age 16? That’s ridiculous!

Notable records: seduction of politicians and political manipulation as well as blackmailing. So technically, she just helps her father in his business. Serial rapist and assaulter? She turned red in a second! Finally, drug trafficking.

Number 9, The Bike Gang, Rage Riders of Blossoms City? The fuck? Two gangs in a single city?”

“Just read it will you?” Velma complains.

“Alright alright, grumpy pants.” Eugene responds as he goes on reading further. “The gang is headed by Greg Silicio, aka The Moving Riot. He is of the age, 17. They are a gang affiliated with the Pinky Pops, to be precise, their underdog for murder and hideous crimes.

They only move on orders dished out by Chaniel. Caution to be taken in this gang is Greg, who has multiple murder record since the age of ten, got imprisoned but was bought off by the state senate.

Notable records: Assassinations, kidnapping and mass murder. Damn, these guys just concentrate on kills? They are more dangerous, since they could have climbed to the top if they want to.

No 8, the one man gang, Agu Nwaogu, aka Fighting Maniac as well as Ezeogu as he calls himself. He is of 18 years of age, hailing from St. Pauline City.

Notable records: contract mass brawls. It’s not just a normal brawl but a gauntlet against armed people with his bare fist. Popular record being him against 54 armed and unarmed individuals in a late night ambush.

No 7, another female gang named, Rude Girls Gang, headed by Natsumi Shiragami!? aka, The Tailed Vixen. She is 15 years of age and her gang hailed from Rosetown City!”

“Why did you exclaim why calling out her name and information?” Jixie asked with overwhelming curiosity.

“She was a friend and also a member of my middle school gang.” Eugene explained but he had a saddened expression on his face.

“I get it, so let’s not get too deep into the backstory. So, gimme it, I’ll be reading the rest.” Velma requests as she threw of her trash through the railings.

“Ok then, have at it.” Eugene agrees and hands over the file to Velma for her to read. She takes it from his hands, stared at it to know where Eugene stopped.

She found the last sentence he stopped at, cleared her throat and continued, “Noticeable records: took over the Rude Girls Gang in a single day, as they attempted to bully her. The youngest gang leader in Randie State. Affiliate of two moderate entertainment organisation, both in red districts and acting. Another, which is overthrowing every gang, even the stray cats gang that hand a 6 years legacy.

She simply serves as a bodyguard and an agent to the entertainment industry, gaining herself another nickname, The Young Godmother. Eugene, I’m not gonna lie, you seriously fucked up.

Number 6, K99C gang. Headed by the undefeated champ in the underground MMA world, Chen Wu, aka, The Twin Headed Dragon. He is at the age of 19 and was 17 when he killed his abusive boss and took over. The organisation hails from South Randie City.

Notable records: loan shark activities, illegal operation of business without any authorization, bribery, blackmailing and multiple counts of murder by brawls.

Number 5, The Nam-Jung High School Gang, hailing from North Randie City and headed by Kim Choi Yeon aka Iron Kicks and 18 years of age.

Notable records: The only gang able to terrorize a whole city for fun. Multiple rape counts, high jacking, daylight robbery, savagery acts, successful shutting down of 8 police stations and multiple murder counts. Surprisingly, none of this acts was performed by the gang leader but the members due to its system in which it runs in.

Members are given freedom to do anything they want with the condition to listen to the gang leader’s calls and never decline his missions. The gang leader’s major duty is to defend the gang against rivals.

Number 4, The Fallen Crows Gang, headed by Louis De Niro, aka, El loco. Age 23 and hailed from Suandaleria Western City. This is a gang of criminal militants that got dismissed.

Notable records: drug trafficking, illegal drug production, mass murder, multiple kidnapping, political manipulation and armed robbery.

Number 3, Faded X’s Gang. This gang is headed by a female leader, named Danielle Ivanov, aka, The Ice Queen. She is 17 of age and a daughter to the nation’s top senior ambassador. The only gang leader to be an international drug dealer and baroness.

Notable records: money laundering, highway robbery, illegal prostitution, women trafficking, drug trafficking, illegal drug production, political manipulation and assassinations.

Number 2, The Dirty Crowns Gang. Headed by Axel Steven Albion, son of the Albion group leader........”

“What!?” Eugene exclaimed in a massive shock as he couldn’t believe his own ears and turns to face Velma with an intense curiosity.
