Run Away, Sam.

On the ground of the cemetery, there is a black magic star drawn with salt.

Around it, at each of its tips, a red candle has been placed with the flame still burning without having any intention of wanting to go out.

Sam Feder observes everything around him carefully, not knowing very well what he could deduce from this terrifying situation.

In the distance, the terrifying scream of a woman took over the deep silence that surrounded the entire cemetery grounds.

“No, shit, it can't be true, I'm supposed to be alone here,” Sam groaned in terror, speaking in a whisper to himself, not wanting whatever was wandering around there without his permission to find out.

Sam had come to assume that, in the cemetery, there was only him, and the only company of him were the dead who were resting in peace buried in this place.

But that terrifying scream, for Sam it was quite deafening, that scream caused his body to shake with panic, and even so, he decided that it was time to gather courage, to stop walking through the place where he was walking, the mausoleums. , and begin to head towards the deepest part of the cemetery, the tombstones.

It was 3:30 in the morning, Sam worked as a cemetery guard on the night shifts, unfortunately, that profession was not something that Sam Feder would have wanted to have to dedicate himself to for the rest of his life, since Sam was a man who had dreams, he dreamed of one day becoming a successful man in the business world, but until now, he had to settle for having to spend sleepless nights in a place as chilling as that particular cemetery was.

Sam already had enough experience in this job of being a cemetery watchman, all the ones he had gone to guard had been very quiet places that lived up to their universal nickname of cemetery, however, this cemetery for which he was now working, Sam He had felt that the place was one of the most chilling at all, without knowing why, but that night was the right one to get the answer to that question.

He had not been able to get enough money to afford a professional degree at an excellent private university, now, he had to save as best he could so that when he turned twenty-five, he could finally begin to study the career of his dreams, no matter what at a public university.

Now, Sam wanted to run, he didn't want to have to keep walking in the direction of the location from where he had heard that terrifying scream, however, that was his job, if they discovered that Sam wasn't doing it properly, it would simply be a problem goodbye for him, and goodbye money for the university.

With the flashlight in hand, Sam decided to turn it on, even though there were lanterns illuminating every corner of the cemetery, Sam felt that it was necessary to keep the flashlight on because there were certain places where the light penetrated very well, and he continued seeing a lot of darkness.

When he turned on the flashlight and pointed it forward, Sam noticed that there was something in front of him, his skin had stood on end, and his legs told him that he did not want to continue walking, forced towards where he was approaching, because every time he wanted to take a step and advance to the front, he couldn't do it as soon as possible, it was as if he had suddenly gotten into a quicksand that, little by little, was sucking him until it wanted to swallow him whole.

“Shit, no, no, get back, it's time to run, Sam Feder!” He shouted to himself, when he realized what was actually in front of him.

Sam turned around and ran as fast as he could and took refuge inside his workplace, which was a small house that was built prefabricated, located right in the entrance gate of the cemetery so that the staff in charge of taking care of it could not it took a long time to open and close the door.

Sam ran, ran as fast as his legs could cope with his request, his gaze still fixed in front of his path, not daring to look back again, since Sam felt that someone, or perhaps, something was chasing hi, and that he did not perceive a good vibe for him.

He felt terror, he felt that his life was in danger, he ran and ran, until, finally, his refuge arrived.

Once inside his shelter, he closed the door, tried to lock it, but curiously, the latch on the metal door was not working at that precise moment.

"Curse!" Sam shouted, as he realized that his doorknob was malfunctioning more than usual.

He tried at least a couple more times until, finally, the door knob wanted to work and latched completely.

After having closed the door, Sam turned around, leaning his back against the door, and quickly dropped, sitting on his knees, hugging his knees to his chest, and hiding his head between them, as if With this, he tried to hide from whatever was chasing him a moment ago.

The silence that filled the cemetery was interrupted again, because the scream was heard again, this time, it was a much louder scream, a scream that sounded more like a kind of lament of a soul in pain, but soon, That scream stopped, and out of nowhere, someone starts knocking on the door of the place where Sam is taking refuge from that at that moment.

Sam is scared, on the one hand, he wanted to open the door to find out for once who the hell it was that insisted that he do it, but, however, Sam knew that it was not a good idea to listen to his intuition, and he decided to stay there, crouched in his same position on the ground, and wait for everything to stop.

Some day.
