Ashina didn't gain consciousness at once. She began noticing her surroundings minutes after she woke up. There was no one nearby. She was alone in her room. Just beside her bed, she saw plates and cups that had been used to feed her drugs. She didn't call anyone or try to ask for help. She didn't feel any pain. She doesn't even have a memory of what happened. It's just her on her bed looking lost and empty.

After minutes of silence even in her head, she wondered what had gotten her into this condition.

"What made me faint?" She asked herself, thinking of possible reasons. It was not like her father had touched her. He beats her when she provokes him but he had never beaten her to the extent where she lost consciousness.

It's not like she got diagnosed with any sickness that drained her energy. And she is quite energetic. The doctor has once said. And she had proved it at different times.

"Oh! Right!" She cried in her head.

"I remember. I remember just what it is that happened." She said to herself.

"My fairy tale Alpha." She smiled.

'oh no! Wait, he isn't an Alpha yet. My fairy tale mate," she smiled and adjusted her position on her bed.

She stretched her body and sat down straight. She sat closer to the wall and rested her back on her pillow. She removed the bed cover on her leg. She saw her legs bare skin. She wondered who it was that had removed her skirts. Her leggings that she wore as underwear were still on. She looked at the shirt she had on. It was different from what she wore when she met her fairy tale man.

She had a silky shirt on, with a long skirt that can be tied around her waist just in case she wants to run. But now, it's just her nightwear. She had her nightwear on.

"How long have I been unconscious?" She asked herself. She stood up and went across the window. It's night. That time of the night. Just deep into the night where no wolf or very few wolves are still awake.

She went back to her bed sluggishly. Still under the influence of sleep and tiredness. Her bones were not as strong as they used to be, and her muscles hurt. She dare not try to shift or run at this moment. She would not just faint, but will probably become immobile for a long period.

"Why? Oh! That's what happened. Father!" She mourned. When she remembered how she had insulted Amoux and made him feel embarrassed. She sank deeper into worry. She feared her father's treatment. Her mother wouldn't say a thing. Her brothers will not even look at her with pity. But she has grown used to all those. But this is a new kind of crime she had committed against her father. She wondered what his reaction would be. First, she was all friendly with the son of the Ultimate Alpha. Then she disrespected someone her father had shown interest in.

But this man was all worth it. His appearance was calming. He is of royalty and for the first time, a man who she knew wasn't afraid of her father. He treated her with respect not because he knew her father, but because she was a human. The last man to do that to her was Falcris. Falcris was just a beta in her father's pack. He hadn't grown in their pack. His father defected from another pack during the last war but contributed largely to the winning of the war. Hence why they rose to being Betas. He had seen her with her maids running through the woods. He chased her.

"Lady Ashina! Lady Ashina!!" He called when he grew closer to her.

"My Lady! A wolf has been after us since we crossed the stream." One of her maids informed her.

"I know. He probably has a message for me from my father or something. I want to have today for myself and not for anyone else," she explained. She didn't wait, neither did her maids. And the wolf coming after her, didn't wait either.

"He is a persistent one," she thought to herself.

"Let me listen to what he has to say," she sighed. She stopped running and turned back.

"And what message do you have for me," she said. He stopped and bowed his head. He raised his face, smiling.

"My Lady, the message I have for you is best listened to, with regard to high confidentiality," he said.

"You are the son of Donolf. The man from the legend who joined our pack when we were having a hard time?"

"I would prefer that you don't remember me by that always." He complained.

"Sorry! My bad! What message do you have for me?" She asked.

"In private." He said. She looked at him and smiled uncomfortably. She turned to her maids and asked them to give her a minute.

"Do you know my father is Lord Olcan? Your Alpha?" She had warned him after he told her of his interest in her. How he had been taking notice of her every move.

"I know. But your father should not have anything to do with how we love each other. My Lady, don't see this as condescending, but I love you. I would love to be your mate." He confessed. All she could do was smile. The confidence of this man is nothing she had seen.

She inhaled him. He has a subtle scent for a Beta's son. His scent wasn't domineering. But she doesn't care. She didn't reply to him at the moment. She only gave him more chances to talk to her.

But everything ended five years ago. Her father had caught a glimpse of Falcris' smile for her. Her father placed someone after both of them. And after careful notice, her father called both of them to court.

Good morning Sir!” a calm female voice rang past Dr. Hugh Henow’s ear, just when he took the diversion towards his office in Lagos City Police Department. Oh, God! Here we go again. Is there any day people realize that you don’t want to talk to them? That even the best greetings they offer might sound so shrill to your ears. Moments you just want to be alone.“Morning!. How are you?” he responded less aggressively than he intended to. If he gives a cold reply very early in the morning, she would be wary of coming to him throughout the day.  “I am fine sir,” she noticed the lack of interest and coldness in his reply. Now hold on. Not like she was interested in greeting him. She is only doing this because she has a message for him. Even if he is her superior, he has no right over. He is not even her employer. He kept on walking. She hurried towards him.“Dr. Williams wants to see you.” She whispered behind him. Hu

Dr. Hefner Eric has been the coroner for the Lagos state police department, Allen District for as long as his certificate was handed to him 20 years ago. He didn’t get to stay that without his super apt sense of discerning.  He was one of the best they have got and is the only one available when the need for one arrived. Despite being forty-three years old, he is still one to jump around when called to work. The reluctance other staff younger than him would show, was never in him since he began. Just like every Thursday, he was always sleeping over at the station. He was called to check out the corpse of a boy at Allison Baker's way.  A police restriction line had been created 2 hours before Dr. Hefner got there. The Lagos city Police Department had received a call early in the morning from a woman who wasn’t ready to reveal who she was."Hello. Oh my God” she cried to the phone“911. What’s your emergency”“a man is

Has anyone else planned for something and it went just according to plan? Or perhaps you didn’t plan, you only wished for it to happen and it did? Even though it is out of your control? Of course, there would be lots of people. And some never got their plans into reality because of some unfortunate factors. Sadly, Tobi belonged to the second category of people on this particular day.Since his arrival at school, he had been anticipating the arrival of Amanda Dram. The way her presence spoke to him, the way it stimulates self-calming hormones in him is something he can’t have enough of. He needed to see her. To speak to her, but she wasn’t in school. And there was no way in hell he would go meet the principal to ask him about her. That would be creepy, wouldn’t it? He doesn’t want to create a bad impression of himself to anyone yet. After school ended and he couldn’t see her, there was only one thing left for him to do. To go see his Pharmacist.<

Present-day. Open earth.“don’t… now… drink… night...” incoherent words like these were the only thing Tobi could make out from the argument of his parents.  His mother’s high-pitched voice woke him. He already knew what the situation was, but he wasn’t going to interfere. He knew what would stem out of him interfering. He could hear his dad’s sloppy voice. He didn’t bother standing from his bed.  The Christian early morning criers haven’t begun ringing their bells. Nor the Muslim’s crier. Not like he needed to worship their God, but those people were just some sort of alarm. The sudden creak of his door’s room sent chills to his spine. He jumped. He switched the light on.“Are you still sleeping, boy? Your father wasn’t home last night and you didn’t bother asking for his whereabouts?” his mom screamed. He looked at her pitiable appearance. Her hair tangled all around. Even her pajamas are rumpled. He knew she must have been in some sort of scuffle

Run my lady!" Edon cried. "Run as fast as you can." He and a female werewolf were being chased by a pack of twelve fierce-looking werewolves. They were being chased through the wood but the female werewolf can't pick up enough speed to outrun the werewolves as she would. She is the Ultimate Luna of Noguchi. A world set aside from the human world with a large amount of magic. It has a barrier that keeps its inhabitants from interfering in human lives and vice versa. She just gave birth to a werewolf half a day ago and is unable to run. She could have healed five hours after she gave birth but during the birth, she has been using her power to conceal her and her Alpha's brother's presence. Both of them had left the Ultimate den in search of a hunt or more like so she could see him hunt. Just to pass time. She had been pregnant for the past one and a half years. She was expecting the baby anytime soon but never expected it to be the day she decided to go through the woods. "My lord,

Dun knows better than rushing to the Volde pack to share information with Skoll. It's been two weeks since she and Skoll had agreed. Skoll hasn't given her enough information to convince her of who killed her daughter, but she doesn't mind sharing him information. The first time she gave him information about the Ultimate Luna and Edon. He wondered how that piece of information was useful to him. He knew they were friends. Very close one. But why does she have to make it an important issue? She noticed the disappointment on his face. The second time they met, she told him about Audolf and other things that went on, in the palace. And she mentioned Edon and the Ultimate Luna. "Do you mean both of them go into the woods, just for walks?" Skoll asked her. She could feel the restraint in his voice. He was trying his best not to get angry. "Yes! And I have been with them once. It's just Edon, her, and maybe two maids," "I see," Skoll agreed. But today, she fell out of favour with the
