Chapter 12: Skill Training

'' Although my mana control is improving it will take some time before I can control it perfectly along with my mana control I should also think about how to use my skill properly currently I am just using only a portion of it's true power'' After deciding that he will train his skill along with his mana control Ethan went to sleep he was quite tired after all the training he did all day.

Ethan woke up early morning the next day feeling refreshed he did his morning routine and cook a delicious breakfast for himself by using the forest Tiger meat after he was done eating Ethan first decided to use his skill Wind Monarch in a different way he thought about what he can do with his skill and came with many ways to use his skill but currently he was too weak to use his ability properly but there are some ideas that he can use with his current power but he needs proper practice for that.

To test his first idea Ethan closed his eyes and sense the surrounding wind since he was doing this often during his training it was not hard and because he was not controlling the wind from his surroundings he doesn't have to use much mana on it.

After sensing the wind Ethan tried to feel any vibration or anomaly in the surrounding wind that disturb the flow of wind.

Since he was in the forest there were so many things that disturb the flow of wind so he was not able to gain any useful information from it at the start but he also knew that most of the disturbance in wind flow was coming from trees in his surrounding but the trees can't move, breath or do any other activities that disturb the wind flow in an irregular way.

Its means that if the wind is facing disturbance from any object that is not alive, the wind flow won't change and will show the disturbance in the same pattern but if the wind flow is being disturbed by a living being the flow of the wind pattern will change continuously.

People will think that what if the living person stopped moving and just stay still in the same place without doing anything will Ethan be able to sense that person by the flow of wind the answer is he can sense that person since the living person needs to breathe to live, and when they breathe the flow of wind will change so even if someone is standing at the same place with the help of wind flow you can sense the people in your surroundings.

Of course currently Ethan can't even sense a normal walking person properly much less a person with his breathing but the more he gets familiar with this the more he will be able to sense with this technique.

When Ethan tried to sense the surrounding with the wind there were so many things that were disturbing the flow of the wind so at the start he wasn't able to sense anything but after some time when he get the hang of it he was able to sense his surroundings more accurately.

After trying this technique from morning to late afternoon Ethan was somewhat able to use it and although he was far from being able to freely sense his surrounding he still made some progress and was happy with his speed.

In the afternoon when Ethan was making lunch for himself he saw that someone has triggered the alarm he had set up to know if any magic beasts come near his camping site, after he turn off the sound of the alarm Ethan quickly took his sword in his hand and use the surrounding wind to sense the magic beast position.

After sensing he was able to confirm that there were no magic beasts and the alarm was triggered by humans.

He was able to sense two humans that were just around 100 meters away from his camping site position but because there were some bushes in the way he was not able to see them.

Ethan quickly turns off the alarm and went towards them when Ethan reached there he saw two people both around the same age as him one male and one female.

When The duo felt someone was approaching them they took out their weapons both held the sword in their hand and eyed the Ethan warily.

When Ethan saw this he was not surprised he also had a sword in his hand because it was very common in the forest for other people to attack each other for robbing or many more reasons.

Ethan didn't get too close to them and put away his sword when he realized that they both were around his age it was common for people of his age to come to the forest for training so he thought maybe these two also come here for training.

When they saw Ethan put away his sword the duo also retreated their sword but they were still looking at him warily.

Ethan who lived with his grandparents all his life doesn't know how to start a conversation with other people so he just said what came to his mind.

''Sorry I thought there was a magic beast that triggered the alarm I was resting nearby so I set up an alarm just in case a magic beast come out from the forest''

After hearing what Ethan said the duo also put away their sword then the male came forward and said

'' Don't worry about that we understand that when you are resting in a place full of magic beasts you have to put some security measures ''.

The boy looks around the age of 15 same as Ethan, his height was around 170cm he wore black leather armor and leather pants with his sharp facial features, black hair and green eyes the male looked very handsome.

The girl also looks around 15 years old she has jade white skin and her height was around 165 cm she also has green eyes and long shiny black hair just like the boy, she was wearing a female leather armor that highlights her Cury body perfectly she looked really beautiful even though she is just turned 15 years old.

After hearing what the male said Ethan nodded at them and turn around to head towards his camp when he returned he saw a completely black thing above his campfire after seeing this Ethan couldn't help but curse.

He put away the burnt meat and took out another piece from his storage ring and started cooking it, while he was cooking he saw the duo entering the dark forest.

Ethan waited some time and after eating his lunch he started his training once again he will enter the dark forest tomorrow and he still wanted to test his skill in other ways.

The day passed without anything happening and the next morning arrived Ethan checked his legs and was happy to find out that they were healed completely, after checking his condition Ethan put away his tent and other camping equipment in his storage ring after he was sure that he didn't leave anything Ethan looked towards the Entrance of the dark forest and entered in the forest once again.

"Let's hope I will not get injured this time and will be able to come out unharmed"
