Chapter 50: Increasing Inner Energy

Black sweat comes from his body.

This is the impurities coming out from his body. His body is also slowly being transformed by the feedback of such massive rise in inner energy

His meridian that has become wider also facilitates purer inner energy.

If in the past his inner energy is the size of a small needle, now his inner energy that passes through the meridian is an inch bigger

The meridian expanded, the inner energy become purer, and as such the body become stronger

Li Xin did not expect that just by learning this skill, he now is transforming his body.

This supreme inner energy skill is like Jiuyang Shengong combined with Jiayi Shengong and so many other inner energy skills.

It truly deserved the reputation of such a supreme inner energy skill.

Li Xin believes that even the Nine Yang Supreme Divine skill of the Righteous temple could not rival the practice of his inner energy

Each of the meridian that he had already open had been boosted. This is the effect of the Eternal Life skill.

He sweated more and more and more black beads comes out from his sweat.

When he breathes in, a powerful suction force appears. When he exhales, the breath is hot and humid.

From top to bottom his body is being transformed.

The inner organs are protected by inner energy, the outer body is protected by external harm, the unity between inner energy and the physical body.

Even though it did not reach that level, it did reach to a point that is almost close to it.

Li Xin frowned and then after a few second, he shouted

ROAR!

He shouted toward the sky and the ground underneath his buttocks depressed two feet deep, the wind around him to been pushed away by his roar.

This roar is like the accumulation of his inner energy exerted out.

Like a dam which is bursting, the inner energy burst out with such a ferocity, that there is a distortion in the air, the pressure is overwhelming, the branches of trees nearby the forest seems to be affected and breaks.

Powerful soundwave erupted from his mouth as he releases his internal energy. 

If Li Xin did know himself, he even thought he had performed Lion Roar of the Righteous temple.

And if not for the fact that Zhou Qingxuan is still unconscious because of the palm attack, she would probably be startled and affected by the soundwaves.

The few beast that is prowling around the area heard the roars and scampered away without turning back.

Li Xin then opens his eyes and then quickly makes a calming movement.

His body is full of heat and energy and while the system keeps restraining it, it is better to store it in his body and strengthen his meridian and purify more of his inner energy.

The control he had over his inner energy had also increased.

With his arms wide opens, he slowly moves his hand downward and inwards, slowly calming the bubbling energy in his body.

It took him a few seconds and then he could inhale and exhale normally, his internal energy strode back into his body.

‘Huu’ he said to himself.

‘That shocked me’ he thought to himself. He felt that restraining himself from breaking through is even harder than breaking through itself

But he also knows that he could not do this all the time. There is a limit to how much his meridian could expand and how much energy his body could handle

If he wanted to expand his meridian more and stores more energy, he had no other way other than to break through

He is actually lucky and he knows it.

Other people probably could not restrain the inner energy and had to store it as long as they cultivate it unless they learn some methods to restrain their energy in their body.

Those big sects and school might have such methods but the small school and the wanderers of Wulin might not have such method

It is the reason why the disciple of big sects and school always have the advantage of having their inner energy pure and dense.

‘The only other way I could withstand it, if I learn body strengthening skill’

He did think of this before but he had too little martial skill points. He was preparing to use it to learn inner energy skill

But now, he had already learned the inner energy skill and he also got some martial skill point from his effort of restraining the energy.

He did not know how much he got but he felt that it is also a lot. But he is not anxious to learn body strengthening skill right now.

It had also confirmed his speculation.

If he bought something from the system like some consumables thing, when he uses it, the item would disappear

Some things like secret manual would turn into motes of light when he learns it

But some consumables like food would only disappear if he eats it.

The fact that the book did not disappear after him learning it, shows to him that there is a difference of treatment between the things from the system and the things outside of it.

Then an evil idea began to sprout inside his mind.

‘Since the book did not disappear even after I learned it, what if I go to the Secret Book Pavilion of the Righteous Temple and learn every skill of the Righteous Temple?’ he thought to himself.

In just a couple of months, if he did this, it would not be long before he could become powerful in Wulin.

Probably the most powerful.

‘Don’t get ahead of yourself’ he thought to himself

After all, if he raided one of the top faction in Wulin and learn all their martial skill, it could be said that there would be hardly any enemies left for him in the world

He shakes his head.

‘What if I suffer some hidden condition after learning all of the skills of the Righteous Temple’ he thought of Murong Bo and Xiao Yuanshan.

In the Demi Gods and Semi Devils, those two learned the skill of Shaolin Temple but they both suffer hidden condition because they only see the skills but not the core of the skill

Even though there is no Shaolin Temple on this world, the Righteous Temple seems to be the Shaolin Temple of this world

And Righteous Temple is also on Shaoshi Mountain and also a top faction of Wulin world which also practices Buddhism

‘But, this kind of temptation is really hard to endure’ he thought to himself.

This temptation of course refers to the temptation of being a big thief in Wulin. If he raided all the great sects and learn all of their skill, he could be carefree in the world.

But, logic of course sober him up.

Even if he wanted to steal manuals of the Righteous temple, he believes that if he tries to steal any skills of the Temple he would be attacked by the monks guarding the Secret Book Pavilion

Li Xin knows that in the game that the Righteous Temple had Divine Monks. Of course this Divine Monks is different than normal monks

These Divine Monks are rumoured to be grandmaster level. If Li Xin goes there and caught stealing, who knows what would happen to him.

If he is fortunate, he would be dead. If unfortunate, he would be forced to become a monk. Li Xin imagine what would happen if he becomes a monk

He is quite sure that he would be the kind of monk that broke all the precepts.

‘Well, I still have time. There is no need to take such risk. It is not like the system does not sell things like manuals and divine items’ he thought to himself

He then finally notices that his attire is full of black stuff.
