Chapter 6 : The Real Facts

"Thanks for the compliment, Emily."

Xavier turned to the beautiful woman standing with her back to the door as if she had just come. His presence was so unexpected. He looked at Emily, who looked relaxed even though Olivia was getting closer to the two of them.

"What about his condition?" Emily opened her mouth, but the woman didn't turn to Olivia and kept looking at Xavier while clutching her chest.

"His leg is broken; he's very lucky he didn't have to have it amputated," Olivia replied. The woman's cheerful face changed when she saw Xavier getting closer. "Why are you tying up my man?"

"Why don't you ask, how did he get here?" Emily asked back.

"Ah. It seems you are curious about my prisoner, honey." Olivia approached Xavier, untied his hands while helping him stand up, and hugged him tightly. "You must be sore from being tied up. Sorry, honey."

Xavier didn't answer; he let Olivia hug him tightly. His gaze stabbed into Emily's pair of eyes, which still had a calm expression as if nothing had happened. One thing that Xavier is afraid of right now is that Emily, who knows her true identity, will most likely tell Olivia.

"Follow me," Olivia said as she pulled Xavier's arm to get out of the room. They continued walking straight until they entered the left aisle area, which was very dimly lit. They descended the stairs there until a towering door came into view. Olivia paused while looking at Xavier and said, "Hold your breath; I don't like it when you puke."

The door was opened by Olivia using her fingerprints. The moment the door opened, Xavier's body suddenly stiffened. Inside there were several fully armed bodyguards. Olivia brought Xavier back to enter the room.

"Welcome, madam," said Sam. The old man shot Xavier a sharp gaze and asked, "Is it fine for him to be here?"

"Just show him," Olivia replied.

Sam turned to bring Xavier to a large grate at the end of the room. This room is very wide, and there are three large bars in it; each grate contains prisoners in conditions that are very unfit to see.

"She is our main prisoner; you must know him," said Sam.

Xavier just stayed where he was. He watched the figure of a woman who was curled up as if she were cold. Her body was emaciated, her hair was messy, and she was very smelly. The food served to her mixed with her own excrement while she was in detention, and besides that, in several parts of her body, there were dry cut marks.

However, Xavier could not recognize her figure. Because of that, he walked closer to the woman and crouched right in front of the bars. The woman's legs and hands were tightly cuffed, making it difficult for her to move.

Knock! Knock!

Sam knocked roughly on the bars to make the prisoner inside turn her head outside the bars. The moment the figure raised its head, Xavier's eyes widened. That woman is the real Olivia Rodriguez, a figure who is Xavier's current main mission target. Then, who is the beautiful figure behind Xavier?.

Xavier stood up. He took a step back along with the woman inside the bars, who crawled closer to him while shouting, "Help!"

"Shut up!" shouted Sam while threatening the detainees with a device that has an electric current.

The prisoner looked so frightened, she crawled backwards into place and curled up again. In contrast to Xavier, who turned around, he saw Olivia approaching him while smiling sweetly. Olivia's hands moved to pull her hair tightly so that the skin mask she was wearing opened to reveal her true face.

Xavier turned to the prisoner behind him; the woman's hair was jet black, and her face was very similar to the mask Olivia had been wearing all along. That means it's true that the woman in custody is the real Olivia Rodriguez. Then, who is this woman with short brown hair? Her real face is similar to Emily's.

The woman stretched out her hand to Xavier while maintaining her sweet smile and said, "Eliana Kathleen, agent 117. Of course I'm your senior, Xavier."

Xavier's forehead wrinkled as he tried to remember the figure in front of him at this time. As he recalls, Olivia Rodriguez was a new case from the agency, but why was there a senior agent in this place, and how could they do all this? It felt like Xavier didn't receive any code.

"You want to see the second exhibition?" Eliana asked while grabbing one of Xavier's hands and bringing him closer to the bars in the middle. There was the figure of a large man with even more serious injuries than Olivia Rodriguez. "He is Olivia's aide. He was even more miserable because of what he had done to Emily; until now, he is still often tortured and will continue to be tortured."

Xavier saw the face of the man who had five heads; his face was also covered in wounds, and he couldn't speak because his mouth was gagged by something. The situation is much more deplorable, but the question is, what happened to Emily and Eliana for the two women to do something this heinous to the three prisoners in this room?.

"He raped Emily when Emily's identity as a secret agent who was sent to this place was found out. Apart from that, he tortured me and Emily and used us to take turns with other people he sent," Eliana continued with a look full of hatred.

After that, Eliana pulled Xavier's arm to get closer to the last grate. There, Xavier could see a very familiar figure. the figure who reportedly died in an accident one year ago.

"Gary Matthew?" Xavier asked Eliana beside him with an astonished look, "How come?"

"Gary was the leader before Tom. He was the one who sent me and Emily to investigate Olivia Rodriguez in the corruption case, but he was also the one who framed Emily and me because, in fact, he was also the mastermind behind that case," Eliana replied. The woman's arms crossed when the figure of a 50-year-old man with a body that is neither too thin nor too fat turned to them and said, "He is a member of the government; right now they are all scared after receiving threats. They are afraid that all citizens and the president will know the secret behind the land mafia case."

"I don't understand. What does all this have to do with me?" he asked.

"They hoped you would stay by their side until the end. Since the beginning, after the news of Gary's disappearance, they immediately made up a story to manipulate all the members that Gary had an accident; they already suspected me and Emily. Then, after a few months, Alex arrived, whom they sent to look for us," said Eliana.

"Alex is also a secret agent from there?" Xavier was again surprised by the fact he had just heard, then he turned to Gary's figure, whose half of his face was badly damaged, but the figure was looking at him with a very sharp gaze as if hinting at something: "What happened to him?"

"Tom killed his wife and children when he no longer trusted Alex, even though at that time Alex was still on his side."
