Chapter 162: The Final Choice

Eleanor's POV

The next day, I went to visit Madison in the hospital like I always did. However, that day was a little different. In the living room of our villa, Lawrence had already packed our bags and prepared our tickets to Mulu. I was to go to the hospital to inform Madison that we would be leaving. Lawrence had already thought of everything, even the reason.

"Just tell Madison that because of my work schedule, we have to leave and might not be back for a long time. Be sure to tell her that the company would not agree otherwise," Lawrence had instructed me to tell her. Now, that was a very valid excuse. Madison would certainly understand. Although I felt some guilt, I had to do it, I needed to keep my husband and child out of danger.

When I came downstairs, Lawrence grabbed me and planted a kiss on my cheek.
