Eleanor's POV

The man scared me.

I stepped back. Because the switch of the room light was behind me and touched by my back, the room fell into darkness instantly.

Only the mobile phone that had just fallen to the ground was still shining, and Madison's voice came from the mobile phone again. "Eleanor, what's the matter with you? Have you been attacked?" Madison's voice was very worried, and her voice became louder and louder, "Eleanor, tell me, where are you now?"

The man finally heard the voice on my phone and found that there was a woman on it. His original anger and danger seemed to have eased a lot.

He let go of me, squatted down to pick up the mobile phone, hung up the video, and threw the mobile phone on the nearby table.

I was upset and scared, "Please don't do this. She's just my friend. If I don't answer, she'll worry."

The next moment, I was pressed on the wall by him. The man's hand groped on me. He lowered his head, smelled my smell, and made a light hum.

He seemed a little out of control. I could only remind him, "This is my home. Please go out..."

The man looked up, and I saw his eyes. His eyes now turned golden. In the dark, that looked like a very beautiful light. But it reminded me of the beast in the night. He was like a beast out foraging, and I was his prey.

His body was scorching. He gasped and lowered his head to me. He buried the tip of his tongue between my neck and licked it gently.

I was trembling with fear, and a murmur came from my throat, which seemed to please him easily.

He held me tightly and whispered in my ear, but I could hear clearly a word only belonging to werewolf, "My mate..."

The man tore at my clothes. He unbuttoned my coat and tore it to the position of my arm. His hand stroked my skin, which made me shiver and easily think of what I experienced in the underground parking lot.

It was so painful. It was like being tortured. It almost killed me.

My heart was about to jump out because of tension and fear. The next second, I was trying to calm his anger and lust and began to talk to him, "Maybe you should tell me your name first."

The man gave a soft smile and responded, "You don't deserve to know."

I had no choice but to tell him, "Sorry, I originally planned to leave a few days ago. I have booked a ticket to leave, but there is something wrong with the flight, and it needs to be delayed for a few days. I didn't mean to stay here... Please... believe me, I will leave as soon as... possible."

With a sound of exclamation, I held the table against the wall in fear, and the man lifted me.

His crotch was against my waist. With a slight button of his finger, he untied the buttons of my underwear. The feeling of dampness and hotness spread from my chest.

In the past few days in the apartment, I had been having nightmares. I kept returning to the underground parking lot to face this strange and terrible man.

His scorching heat and aggression left me nowhere to escape. Even if I wanted to make a voice for help, it seemed impossible.

"Please, don't do this to me again..." I almost begged, "I can assure you that I have resigned from the company and haven't seen Logan for a long time."

The man chuckled, "You're lying." He grabbed my hair roughly and felt his fingers down my back, which made me tremble. "You must be lying to me. You're procrastinating and waiting for Logan to come to you, aren't you?"

"No, it's not." I kept shaking my head and begged him, "Logan hasn't been here. I haven't seen anyone these days."

The man said, "You're a little trick to indulge in lust. Don't worry. I won't eat you. I'll just give you a punishment. Let you know the price of cheating us."

His head lowered again, increased his strength, and bit my chest.

I trembled with pain, and one of my hands consciously held the following table. It groped tremblingly along the edge of the table. Soon, I touched a cold and smooth thing. I remembered that it was what Logan had given me. It was a dolphin made of crystal. Under it was connected with a music box. Whenever Logan was away, this music box accompanied me through my boring time.

The man was biting and kissing against my chest. I slowly picked up the crystal ornament and hit it on his head.

Unfortunately, the werewolf's sharpness was innate. No matter what I did, it seemed to be under his control.

He grabbed my wrist and swept it hard, sweeping everything off the table. I was also pressed on the table with the sound of things being broken.

I could do nothing but turn over and try to climb down from the other side of the table, but he pulled me back by holding my waist.

I turned around and put a foot on his body, but this man grabbed my ankle, and my body invaded between my legs.

Such a posture made me feel ashamed. My experience in the underground parking lot was awakened again.

Before, my arm was injured because of the conflict with Stella. It had been wrapped up, but then, the wound cracked again because of the man's action.

The smell of blood filled the air. He seemed to be attracted by the smell and became more out of control.

He leaned down close to my body, and I could feel his breathing getting heavier and heavier and the fangs slowly piercing into my skin.

It was more painful than my previous experience in the underground parking lot. It reminded me of the vampire story I read when I was a child.

It was also said that werewolves and vampires would show their fangs like wild animals when their instincts broke out.

His fangs were kissing and biting between my neck. I was shaking with fear as if he would bite my neck off at the next moment.

Just as I was shaking with fear, I heard the man's voice sound again, "Do you know how werewolves mark their spouses?"

My body straightened up.

The man's palm controlled my waist. He bent his head, tore, and kissed my lips.

I made a vague voice and reached out to push him, but I wasn't strong enough to push him away. I turned my head to avoid his kiss, but he grabbed my jaw and turned it back.

There was a special smell on him. I couldn't tell what it was, but this smell made me feel a little strange.

It was said that every werewolf had a special smell. They judged their partner according to this smell too.

He aggressively pried open my lips, hooked my tongue, and tangled with him. I was suffocating. I felt his hand stroking down my back.

He seemed to want to take off my pants. I remembered everything I had encountered in the underground parking lot at that moment.

No, it couldn't go on like this.

I struggled desperately and dared to bite his tongue. Then the smell of blood spread between our lips and teeth.

The man pushed me away. The werewolf had great strength. I fell off the table. It hurt, but thank God, I finally escaped his control although it was temporary.

I saw the direction of the door, stood up, and wanted to escape, but he grabbed my hair the next moment. "Very good." The man's voice was hoarse.

He grabbed my hair and dragged me to the nearby sofa the next moment.

It was dark in the room, but his movement seemed not limited. Perhaps, for werewolves, the night was their time.

"Do you dare to resist me and think about the price you will pay?"

He dragged me to the side of the sofa, threw me on it, leaned down, and acted more rudely than before.

I kept crying and begging him, "No, let me go... Please... Don't do it again. You make me afraid..."

But when he heard my plea for mercy, he seemed more excited. He sat across my waist and began to take off his coat.

Then Logan's voice came from outside, "Eleanor, are you home?"

I trembled, sobbed, and looked in the direction of the door. I knew that Logan would come in and save me if I made a noise. However, it also meant that Logan had to compete with this man.

Logan was a Beta, but this man was a powerful Alpha. I knew Logan was not his opponent.

Logan knocked on the door again. "Eleanor, are you okay?"

I didn't dare to make a sound. At this time, the man pressed close to me and said, "Hurry up! Let him leave."

I looked in the direction of the door and didn't dare to make a sound. I knew that Logan was my last straw.

If I let Logan go in, the next scene, I would be completely in the hands of this man.

The man leaned down and said in my ear in an ambiguous and seductive voice, "You don't want him to see us like this, do you?"

When he spoke, he deliberately kneaded the tip of my ear, and I trembled.

I turned to the door and said, "Logan, don't come again. I won't see you again." I was afraid that Logan would hear the strange voice, so I had to try my best to calm down, "Let's break up and don't contact again, okay?"

Logan stood outside and stopped talking. 'Has he left?' This perception scares me.

Everything was over. I would fall into the hands of this man, be bullied and humiliated by him at will. Maybe I should have asked Logan for help before.

The man was very happy to see that I acted very obediently according to his orders. He bowed down and kissed me, "That's good. Next, it's time to enjoy our moment."

I heard a loud noise. Logan kicked open the apartment door and turned on the lights in the room.

Lawrence's POVThe days following my arrival at the wine estate were dull, and I seemed to have returned to my old life. I hated Madison, and I hated the hunters who had taken Eleanor away from me. But I couldn't hurt them because I knew that Eleanor cared about them. So when I returned to Uncle Nathan, I simply helped him with his business affairs and refrained from involving myself in matters related to attacking hunters. After finishing my day of socializing, I returned to the estate. It was raining very heavily and it reminded me of the hunter named Jon. On the day he died, it was also a rainy day. I thought of

A cab brought me to the exteriors of the wine estate but the area around the estate was heavily guarded, with bodyguards patrolling everywhere. I didn't have an invitation; it was safe to assume that they wouldn't let me in. Just as I was waiting for Lawrence outside the estate, I saw Elsa and her hound, she seemed to be strolling around the property. When she saw me, she seemed very surprised, "Eleanor?"I was a little wary of her. After all, she was hostile to me because she liked Lawrence, Thoughts of ending my existence had crossed her evil mind.I nodded to her, "Elsa.""What are you doing here?""I want to see Lawrence.""Hah! You promised me that you wouldn't get involved in the war between werewolves and hunters. But you broke your promise. I waited for you but you didn't come. How do you think that made me feel?" There was a flash of anger in his eyes. "You disappoint me. In the living room of our villa, Lawrence had already packed our bags and prepared our tickets to Mulu. I was to go to the hospital to inform Madison that we would be leaving. Lawrence had already thought of everything, even the reason."Just tell Madison that because of my work schedule, we have to leave and might not be back for a long time. Be sure to tell her that the company would not agree otherwise," Lawrence had instructed me to tell her. Now, that was a very valid excuse. Madison would certainly understand. Although I felt some guilt, I had to do it, I needed to keep my husband and child out of danger. When I came downstairs, Lawrence grabbed me and planted a kiss on my cheek. He hugged me saying, "Eleanor, I'll be waiting for you at the airport, and after you say goodbye to Madison, meet me there, okay?"I nodded, cupped his face, and said, "We sti
