"Who are you, mother...!" the thief begins to curse, but is cut short when the police arrive on the scene.

"Stay where you are and put your hands where I can see them," one of the officers commands, and the thief quickly complies.

They handcuff him and lead him away, thanking Lee for his patriotic act.

"Thanks so much! If not for you, that bastard would have run away with my son's hospital bill money! Thanks," the grateful woman cries.

"It's okay, it's okay," Lee reassures her, filled with a sense of pride and fulfillment for having saved a person's life.
