Sacred light and a dark yellow layer of lightning flashed around Lu Shang's body as Heaven and Earth suddenly froze and released a terrifying force of gravity, which causes the gravity in the sect to rise.

Meanwhile, outside Lu Shang apartment, everywhere was pitch black and everybody was finding it difficult to move due to a strange power that was making everybody move slowly.

Shortly, blood started coming out of the mouths of the weaker people who couldn't endure the pressure of the strange aura.

The upper echelons were outside the sect, observing the situation of things happening in the sect.

"What is happening?" "Why the sudden rise of gravity..." said the sect leader, who was looking at the sky trying to see what was wrong.

"Maybe there is a powerful expert nearby who comprehend the ability of space and time," exclaimed elder Su after some consideration.

"Then we have to take action by activating the sect defensive barrier to prevent the pressure from causing harm to the younger cultivators in the sect," the sect leader said after some time and then instructed the sect elders to activate the defense barriers.

Unknown to the sect, the strange power was not from a powerful expert but from a powerless disciple like Lu Shang.

Lu shang was still on the same spot on the ground, lying unconsciously, and a strange dark yellow layer of lightning was surrounding him, which was preventing anything from coming near him.

Lu shang's consciousness was drawn to an unknown pitch-black dimension.

"This place is..." Lu Shang was confused about where to go because the dimension was strange to him.

His consciousness was soon attracted by a faint, dark yellow light shining off from the center of the pitch-black place.

"That faint yellow light, it seems like I have some connection with it, and what connection could that be?" Lu Shang said, out of confusion,

Lu Shang started walking around the light in observation, and he felt some kind of summoning from the yellow light. Lu shang decided to touch the light only to feel a heart-shaking pain.

"Ahhhhh... what the heck is happening to my body system? It seems like it is changing."

Lu Shang screamed and clutched his head.

The yellow light then started merging into his body system.

Some minutes later, some of the light had fully merged with his body, and the remaining mysterious light had stopped merging with his body.

Lu Shang felt like he was about to break through the bottleneck he had been stuck in ever since.

"How come at this moment right now that I felt like breaking through?" the surprised Lu Shang exclaimed out of thought.

He sat down on the floor and focused on cultivating.

Lu Shang closed his eyes and began to absorb the world essence in the air to cultivate.

Lu Shang's body started releasing a strong aura.

As Lu shang was about to walk around the place to see if he will be able to move out of the place, an image started forming before him.

When the image finished forming, an old man with long white hair and a beard dressed in ancient old clothes was standing before Lu Shang.

"Who are you?" Asked Lu Shang frightened.

"Am I the guardian spirit of this dimension, and how did you get here? I haven't seen any human for thousands of years," said the guardian spirit as he look at him with a frown on his face.

"My name is Lu Shang, junior greets seniors, and junior appeared here after a strange necklace merged into my body," Lu Shang said, bowing down his head slightly in respect.

"After so many years, master has chosen a successor who will continue his legacy." The guardian spirit looked at Lu Shang and was disappointed after finding nothing special about Lu shang.

"Who is your master, and why has he chosen me to be his successor?" Asked Lu shang with a raised brow.

"My master is one of the ten strongest ancient gods known as the spacetime lord," the guardian spirit replied proudly.

Lu Shang was shocked: "I thought he was someone else with the same name, not knowing he was among the ten strongest ancient gods."

"And I didn't expect my master to choose his successor now," the guardian spirit continued.

"What happened to your master?" Asked Lu Shang.

"I can't tell you that now. When you are strong enough, then I will be able to tell you," the guardian spirit refused to say to Lu shang.

"All you need to do now is accept the remaining legacy of my former master to make you strong enough to conquer this world," said the guardian spirit.

"And how are you going to do that?" replied Lu Shang in total confusion.

"I will be helping you achieve that by making it easy for you," the guardian spirit said, and then started leading Lu shang to another place in the dimension.

"Where are you taking me to?" Asked Lu shang

"I'm taking you to a place where you are easily going to absorb the remaining legacy of the spacetime lord."
