In the parking lot of Ifewood University, students were trickling in and out of the Mozambique hostel for female students.  James Keenan, a charismatic postgraduate student of business known as a "Campus Bad Boy," was infamous through his undergraduate days as a con man, sly, and a member of the university cult, The Eagles.  His piercing eyes rove up and down the road as he tries to select his pick for the night. The Eagles were throwing a party on the outskirts of town tonight.  Most students had returned home as school was officially on summer break.  James sat in Shane's car with Gabriel, Austin, and Shane, all members of the same cult, smoking, and each man nursing his own thoughts about the party tonight. Beatrice Kenan was coming back from the library, dressed in a simple yellow tank top, blue jeans, and denim canvas. Her bag was strapped to her shoulder, and her mind was in turmoil. She wondered, How on earth could she fail the simplest of her courses? Professor Bam must definitely be a certified bastard to have failed her. How is she ever going to pass this course without succumbing to his threats and advances? Just as she thought of picking up her phone from her bag to call her friend Yvonne, she came into James's vision. Who is she?  Definitely the one.  As far as James was concerned, the night was set for the Eagles. None of them could have imagined what destiny planned for the future, as love, betrayal, and deception set the pace in this love triangle.

Finally, humanity has a fighting chance, but the world is not done yet as another cataclysm knocks at the doors of life, that day massive floods overtook half of all populated land killing millions and in the same day that a pirate called Anne Fortune dives into the raging seas to save her lover but, surprisingly returns to land with a child born of the Abyss. It's eyes, one blue as the water and one black as death, will he grow to be humanity's hope or downfall?

Life became a contest of predator and prey when I, Ella Quinn opened my eyes inside of the survival novel I bought for research purposes. The place was rather dreadful to visualize with my own eyes. Ogres, monsters and creatures, huge as a bear I had to survive through all these. But in order to escape from here I needed help from the characters of the novel. My journey began with finding them out one by one. However something didn't sit right about that peculiar world until all of us discovered the hidden truth behind our surroundings.

Thomas Winkler, a 21-year-old young athlete who is very passionate about his talent in sports and has made many achievements and is able to compete with star players who have a wealth of experience. He earned the nickname "Rabbit Jump" after successfully jumping that reached more than 3 meters. Unfortunately, Winkler's career was threatened when chaos ensued during the final match. He gets a lot of foul and cunning games from the enemy, until he is taken away by his mother when the atmosphere in the stadium gets hotter. A few hours into the chaos, Winkler decided to heal his head and heart wounds by soaking in hot water. Inadvertently, a violent rumbling startled him who was closing his eyes in the water. At that time, he was unaware of bouncing into a world he had never imagined before and the many disasters in that world would follow.

Two weapons clanged. A sturdy long stick with a large mace on top was swayed aside by a strong female warrior. With her short reddish hair and a menacing yell, she trusted her chain mace towards a tall girl with a long pointy tail and protruding fangs. She barely dodged her attack, throwing her body to the ground of the arena. The audience behind the flimsy fence roared and cheered in a frenzy. They were packed tight around the rocky walls, thirsting for blood. The fallen girl heaved, holding her weapon tight. Standing up, she narrated, "Someone once joked 'Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company'. Only fools can believe this to be true." Her opponent cackled with a smirk, ready for another attack. "Do you want to know what it's like down here? Well, let me tell you.” The woman in question entered this world as a very old and very ill woman. Surrounded by her loved ones, she closed her eyes and entered a hell-like dimension. It resembled a large city floating on a lake of lava, called Helltown. With very little resources, she had to find a way to survive. Luckily, there was hope. The woman used a spell to become a beautiful young woman with super strength. Disguised, she fought demons, escaped the slums, ended up in a brothel and then as a gladiator in an arena. With many enemies and shifty allies, she finally managed to catch a break and get to the top floors, where the intrigues truly start. Along the way, we learn more about her life on Earth and the possible reasons for her being there. Can she stay sane among such evil? What is Helltown, and does it affect the life on Earth? A lot, actually.
