I will lead you all! HAHAHA!” My laughter grew louder. Ridiculous? Yeah. But I was totally getting into the role. Then… I blinked. The moment my eyelids opened, I was in a vast hall. Surrounded by terrifying creatures. Demons. They were all bowing to me. My laughter still hadn't stopped. But my heart nearly stopped. Strangely, I kept acting. I knew… if I stopped, if I took off this mask and admitted I was just a regular human I’d probably be killed on the spot. So… What am I supposed to do now?

What is the role of those third-rate villains in games or novels? I asked this question to myself quite a number of times. They don't have major screen time, but some of them have a huge effect on the storyline. And, if one of them hadn't played their role correctly, what would happen to the storyline?
