THE NIGHTMARE

THE NIGHTMARE

Highpriest Fantasy
I hated being locked up like a damsel in distress. Like I was some princess that needed constant protection, but deep down I was grateful. I was still struggling to summon my powers, so if I was attacked alone I would be defenseless. I understood why Valerian wanted me to stay confined within the walls of our home since there was a protection spell suffocating the entire atmosphere that surrounded it. But I was so bored. Valerian was not there to take me out and keep me occupied with his cocky smiles and quirky comments. The only thing I could think to do to pass the time was to take a stroll around the castle grounds. I exited out into the courtyard and walked past the beautiful wooden benches and vibrant trees. Roses of every colour confiscated the grounds and it was like I was walking through a rainbow. My fingertips caressed the petals and I inhaled the sweet scent of their exquisiteness as I walked through the trails. I was so mesmerized by the area that I didn’t realize where I was going. I gasped as I reached for the next rose in my path, and it crumbled from my touch. The rest of the walkway was filled with black and decayed roses that tumbled to the ground like ash from a horrible wildfire. My frightened eyes glared out into the distance as I realized the dead flowers led to a shadowy tunnel made from black brick. A sign barely dangling from a broken chain at the top of the entrance read ‘dungeon.’ My body cringed at the sight. This was the dark side of Valerian that I knew and wanted to avoid as much as possible.

Echoes of Control: The Parallax Syndicate

Echoes of Control: The Parallax Syndicate

They hacked the human mind. They bent the world to their will. But they didn’t account for the boy inside the machine. Deep beneath the surface of the world, far from law and light, the Parallax Syndicate built The Oyster—a laboratory where thought could be weaponized, where obedience could be programmed, and where free will became a design flaw. From this hidden fortress, four scientists reshaped society, one mind at a time. Nations obeyed. Wars vanished. Peace reigned—by force. Their system was flawless. Their influence—undetected, undeniable. And their legacy? A boy born within their machine. Heir to their empire, molded by their intellect, trained to uphold their command. But beneath the precision they instilled, a question took root—What if humanity was meant to choose? Raised in the heart of this system, Kael Draven was meant to inherit it all. Trained by his father, Dr. Aurex Draven, Kael knew every code, every algorithm, every flaw. But unlike them, Kael believed in something dangerous: freedom. Now, with the world asleep under the Syndicate’s spell, Kael is the only one who can wake it. Armed with the Syndicate’s deepest secrets and haunted by the memories they tried to erase, he’ll spark a rebellion from within. The mind was their weapon. Kael will make it their undoing.

I can't seem to remember much. Compared to when i first awoken, 50 years ago, even if it's a fraction I'd call it progress. I know it's not going to be easy and you can guarantee I'm going to fall into some unwanted predicaments. My goal: return it to the time before even if it takes destroying this world. To do that i think i have to find the one who cursed me and stole my memories... What i truly am, I'm yet to find out, and how I plunge the world into its current state. Author's note: I know my synopsis sucks but pls bear with me.

Fourth birth :The Oakmont saga, Book 1

Fourth birth :The Oakmont saga, Book 1

Maxwell Fantasy
No one came any closer to me since I began to hear voices. It was as if I possessed some kind of aura that attracted everyone, like a field that attracted people. I was either insane or a monster, which I suppose I could be, according to everyone at school. I was able to hear what others were thinking, but no one else seemed to be able to, and some of them remembered me from first grade, when everything first started. I was able to focus better on school because I was isolated, and I loved to do well in school. Since I learned how to silence the voices, at least it had. Before that, I was unable to think in light of the consistent clamor of every other person's brain pounding me constantly.

WEREWOLVES MAY CRY

WEREWOLVES MAY CRY

Bryan, a reckless youth in modern-day Chicago, hates werewolves for taking his mother and brother. Raised a man called Pa. Clever, he survives as a hired hunter, unaware that he carries the blood of the most feared Alpha — Lord Amark, his father. When captured by Owen, his mother’s brother and ruthless hunter leader, Bryan is forced to work under Mayer, Owen’s sharp and disciplined second. Their reluctant partnership grows as Bryan’s hidden power begins to surface. Meanwhile, Amark’s brother, Pheles, reveals that Bryan’s twin, Bruno, is alive. The brothers reunite with rivalry and pride, but are bound by blood as Amark returns. After Pa. Clever’s death, Bryan’s grief triggers his first full transformation, terrifying friend and foe alike. The climax comes when Amark confronts his sons. Bryan and Bruno fight him, but in his final moments Amark reveals mercy, not rage. With Mayer’s shot, he falls, blessing his children before dying at peace. Pheles becomes Alpha, with Bruno and Bryan as Betas, and Chicago finds fragile calm. But as the wolves mourn, a mysterious howl pierces the night — warning that the story is far from over.

The Hero of Vengeance

The Hero of Vengeance

"Kill them all...Burn it down..." Those are the words I heard echoing in my head ever since the day I woke up in Lorelei. The voice sounds familiar. I've heard it before. But would it be crazy if I said it sounded like me? Would it be crazy...if I said i remembered dying? Utterly rediculous. To repeat the same thing over and over, expecting a different result while changing absolutely nothing. I was the son of a Duke and a commoner in a foreign land. Through pain and suffering, I somehow managed to marry a beautiful Princess of that land. You know...after my father got eaten by a dragon. And after being locked in a dungeon and tortured by her insane sister... But none of that matters now. Because my world lies in ruins. Everyone I've ever known is dead. All except my beloved, who stands to protect me with her shield. But I don't mean to say that things have been destroyed... What I mean, is much simpler. Avernia is gone. Gone forever. Lost to the plague I called 'The Black Ooze'. But I'll avenge it. I'll kill the one responsibke for massacring my family and destroying my world. They'll regret having made an enemy out of me. Because the sword I wield is called Vengeance. The Overseer sword. The Omni-Weapon. No matter the cost...I will have vengeance. I'll kill them all. I'll burn everything down. Author's note: I sincerely hope you enjoy my work, but keep in mind that I am my own editor and I don't see everything. there might still be a few errors. Sorry! This is an original work.

Healing God's Heir: Abandoned Son-in-law

Healing God's Heir: Abandoned Son-in-law

"Congratulations, my Heir," a mysterious figure declared, "you have proven your worth, and you're now the Heir to the God of Healing and Medicine, Elandor!" Suddenly, I found myself in excruciating pain, hanging on the edge of a hill. The figure's words barely registered, and I felt like I was forgetting something crucial. Before I could make sense of it all, I blinked, and the pain was gone. My wounds had vanished, replaced by a newfound strength. There, around my neck, hung a gemstone amulet. I gasped as the amulet shone, flooding my mind with knowledge. "In the realm of healing, I'm the ultimate arbiter of life and death. As Elandor's heir, I command over ailments and the frailty of life. I am the embodiment of healing's power and authority." As memories flooded back, I realized why I was here. Darius Blackthorn, that treacherous scoundrel, had thrown me down this hill. "I won't let you get away with this. I'll have my revenge for all the pain you caused me. I'll show those Rossi family snobs who mocked me for being poor and treated me like a live-in servant. You'll regret ever looking down on me. I'm a god's heir, and you will pay for every bit of suffering you put me through." Fueled by rage, I stood there, determined to make them all pay.
