Nick Cross awake in a stranger's house, wounded and bruised, and finds himself in a blank state his memory destroyed. However, there is a strange chip placed on his skin, and masked men are pursuing him, Nick must avoid an evil conspiracy that seeks to control both his body and mind with the aid of Leah, a determined woman tormented by her brother's mysterious murder. Nick sets out on an anxious quest to learn the truth about the chip and the secret project that made him a weapon, tormented by broken pieces of a life he cannot recall. Along the way, he faces ghosts from his past, including a dangerous enemy in clear view, friends who may have deserted him, and a lady who once loved him but betrayed him.
