Auston, born into a wealthy and powerful werewolf family, is forced to flee after his father's mysterious death. His uncle reveals the conditions of his father's will: Auston must marry someone wealthy and awaken his dormant wolf to claim his rightful place as alpha. Auston abandons the pack and lives a challenging life, avoiding his lineage. Years later, Auston meets Eve, a wealthy woman being attacked, and saves her. Despite her gratitude, Auston keeps his distance. He later discovers Eve's true identity and her forced engagement to the violent Marcus. Auston flees again, finding solace with Aliyah, a kind colleague. As their relationship deepens, Auston's dormant wolf begins to surface. Auston's past catches up when Eve and Marcus track him down. A brutal confrontation ensues, and Auston's wolf manifests in self-defense. Aliyah, also a werewolf, joins the fight, and they force Marcus to retreat. However, Aliyah is gravely injured, and Eve's betrayal is revealed. Auston leaves Eve behind and returns to the pack with Aliyah, declaring her as his mate and fulfilling the conditions of his father's will. But upon his return, Auston's uncle attempts to kill him, setting the stage for a battle for his legacy.
