A week had passed, Kal was now able to leave the hospital. Although most of his items had been destroyed after that heavy fall, he manage to retrieve his G-rank iron bayonet. 

Despite the fortunate circumstances of leaving without any debts to the hospital, his face showed brightness. The doctors who were assigned to take care of Kal looked at him with pity.

"He almost died and he lost most of his belongings yet he still manages to leave with a smile on his face." The doctor looked at him with a disdainful look.

"Despite having his medical fees paid by that rich man, he is still completely broke, and with all of his valuables destroyed, he is literally starting a new life but still, he looks happy. Even if that is just a play-pretend,  I do hope one day, he'll be fortunate enough to continue and walk forward and at the very least live a meager life." The other doctor said with a pitiable face. 

On the other hand, Kal was not acting happy at all, he was showing a genuine smile. Even though he only have a low-grade weapon in hand, with the powers he had obtained, he was sure to stand on the ground along with the top hunters in this vast world. 

He returned s shabby apartment, the landlady was standing in front of his doorway. The landlady look furious, she was clipping her arms around her chest, and on her right and was a plastic hanger. She looked like she was ready to beat Kal up and when Kal saw her vexed expression, he couldn't help but swallow his nervous saliva.

"Your due date has passed already passed a week ago, I'm expecting you to pay up now or if you want an extension, you can extend all your stuff in the streets!" She said angrily.

"Isn't it the most beautiful woman in the world! Did you use an A-grade soap because your skin is as shiny and smooth as a jade!" Kal complemented with an act of shock.

"Don't f*CK with me Kal and pay up! Last time your compliments might have worked on me but now, it is futile. You either pay your rent or live in a tent." She said to Kal scoffing.

"I'm sorry I can't pay the loan for now since I almost died a week ago, luckily I was rushed to the hospital and I still have medical fees there needed to be paid! Can't you give me a month no a week and I promise, I will pay you fully and even pay you in advance!" Kal said with a determined tone. Hearing his plead, the landlady couldn't help but sigh.

"Fine, I'll give you a week, but you promise to pay up,  or else I'll be forced to kick you out!" She said warning Kal.

"Thank you very much! You're the best landlady in the world!"

After settling in his house, he used the last remaining of his money to buy a thick rope and some mountain climbing gear because he wanted to return d tree where the golden eggs had resided. 

He had bought all the stuff he needed for his venture in the sanctum. Arriving at the shelter, Kal was immediately the center of attention of the hunters. They looked at him with confused looks and some were even dazed and shocked seeing him.

He knew that most of the hunters here know that he had almost died and seeing him back here healthy as ever would be a huge shock but the reason was not that tough.

'What's wrong with these guys' reaction? Am I that famous now?' Kal confusing said to himself as he looked at his surroundings. All their eyes were locked on him and they showed mixed emotions but not because they were shocked that he had survived that near-death experience, but because, he was casually walking to the gate of the sanctum wearing nothing but normal clothes and a bayonet in hand. 

"What the hell is that guy thinking? Is he's gonna enter the sanctum without any protective equipment? He didn't even bring a bag to carry his loot and he's just holding  a bayonet and it's even a low-grade one!" A hunter said in shock.

"Is he confident in his abilities or he is just being arrogant?" Another hunter asked.

"That's Kal-abandon for you, must have damaged his brain or something after almost dying." A hunter said.

"Heh, even if he's not wearing protective gear, the AI would not prompt his entrance to the sanctum." The hunter scoffed.

"Hey dumbass! You can't enter the sanctum, even if you did, you'd get beaten up and get covered in blood shit just like how you usually are!" A hunter shouted at him. Everyone began to laugh at Kal but he didn't even listen. As he walked to the gate, the AI started scanning his body and as everyone watching him believed that he'd get rejected upon entering and end up getting himself embarrassed, what happened dumbfounded them.

The light turned green and the gate was opened. Watching the entrance open to the sanctum, Kal couldn't help but chuckle as he entered the sanctum. When Kal arrived at the sanctum, those in the shelter was in a moment of silence and when they composed themselves, they believed that the AI was busted or had a  glitch but when the repairman inspected the AI, it was functioning normally and there were no bugs found in it and now they were filled in disbelief recalling of what just happened.

"The AI should have rejected him since you would need at the very least wear protective gears. If he entered it without any gears on hand, does that mean he as the very least the power of an F-rank hunter?" A hunter said in disbelief.

"There's no way dude! We're talking about Kal here? Isn't he like the infamous weakest hunter in the world? He shouldn't have the money to undergo another awakening!" Another hunter exclaimed.

"It might be possible, the hunter who saved him was an heir to a rich company, he might have helped him undergo a reawakening." A hunter said.

"Even if he can enter, he wouldn't last a day or two, right?" A hunter said with certainty.

When Kal arrived at the sanctum he chuckled as he recall the looks of every hunter's face back in the shelter. The reason why he was able to enter the gate without wearing any protection was that he distributed the remaining of his stamina points. The stamina attribute would increase your health; 1 point of stamina is equivalent to 10 points of health. Also, st right now since he added 5 points into his stamina, his defense was equivalent to the strongest E-rank hunter. 

But even if he had a defense equal to an E-rank hunter and a power equal to an F-rank hunter, he would still need a bag to carry the loot he would obtain but that wasn't a problem at all, with the use of his inventory, he learned that he could put anything on his spatial storage. But he couldn't bring too big of stuff in his storage like a refrigerator, or a motorcycle, even still, it was a handy thing to have so he wouldn't need to burden his body in bringing heavy stuff to his adventure.

"Let's retrieve this bayonet for now and try this new weapon I got." Kal retrieved his bayonet back to his inventory and brought back another knife except this one had a different look compared to normal knives. The blade was shining in gold and the guard was designed to look like a feather and the handle was made of a sturdy bone. 

The knife looked too beautiful for a person like Kal to get but it was an item he obtained after killing the egg of the hawk.

"This weapon is gonna be a game-changer for me!" Kal grinned in excitement. His destination was the mountain edge where the golden eggs laid but before that, he wanted to test his enhanced powers and newly acquired weapon to see if how powerful he had become.

After a few minutes of searching, he found a lone SkunkSloth, the monster was currently drinking water on a pond and when SkunkSloth saw Kal, it immediately spread its sharp claws and chased him.

"Let's see how strong I have become." Kal then retrieves his bayonet in hand. He wanted to try how first his own body to fight the sloth head-on and as the bayonet and the claws clash with each other, sparks were generated on the collision of the attack. 

Pang!

Normally in this type of situation, Kal wouldn't even dare to fight a sloth head-on since it was too risky for him but now he was confident to kill it in a 1v1 fight. When his strike hit the claws, the power of the attack managed to push back the sloth a couple of meters and when it saw that it got pushed back,  the sloth became enraged and started screeching and slashing its claws towards Kal.

"I did get stronger but I don't think my bayonet can handle another strike." Kal frowned. After that attack, the bayonet had a line of cracks on its blade, another strike was enough for it to be destroyed so he decided to return it to his inventory and use the Golden Beak Knife a try.

"Khhiiieek!" The skunksloth hissed angrily and began to pounce towards Kal. Its sharp claws spread out like it was about to envelop Kal's face but when it was about to slash its claws, Kal moved forward a bit and weaved the golden knife to its defenseless belly revealing the guts and organs inside.

"Khhiiieek!" The skunksloth screech in pain and fall to the ground. Its body was now oozing in blood and the organs were falling out of his belly. The skunksloth began to writhe and twitch in pain and soon after, its body stopped moving and numbers started to appear in front of Kal.

+100 EXP! 

"Damn, this knife is sharp and I can obtain experience points by killing monsters? Does this mean I really can stronger the more I can kill monsters?" He said to himself excitedly. He retrieved back his dagger to his spatial storage and rummage the corpse of the skunksloth to get its gemstone. After that, he proceed to go to the nest of the golden hawk, and every monster he encountered was killed immediately giving him an additional level which makes him level 3 now.

"I feel like it would be better if I put more points in my vitality just in case if I fall again, I won't easily die," Kal said. He then distributed 10 points in Stamina giving him a defense and endurance of an elite F-rank hunter with full protective gear.
