Suddenly He Appeared

Quite a confusing opening. “So everything was planned by Artorius from the start?” Gladio became curious as to what kind of message was left for him.

Slask!

One page later Gladio opened. His eyes instantly bulged, in the message there was some information about the right hand that had been the location of his suffering.

“Gladio, I've been trying to find out what happened to that right hand of yours! From several books and information from several people, I got something. Your right hand is a sign of a new path. That path will open a new era, destiny has given you a responsibility to change this world!”

Gladio could sense Artorius' feelings, every sentence gave Gladio an idea of how serious the man was taking notes on the book. He began to turn to the next page of the book.

It looks like a different page has been seen, there are several symbols and explanations listed.

“Alright, this time I'll tell you everything I already know! The power that is in your right hand has extraordinary abilities, with that ability you will be even more great and strong! Listen carefully, that right hand of yours has the ability to absorb souls from other beings or can be called a destroyer of souls. You will be able to use that ability to stop the reincarnation of some creatures that can always appear from age to age. The world is currently in need of that ability, it's all very clear that you are a creature of choice! I hope you learn all the skills I have stored in this book, all abilities that I created by myself!”

Gladio after that didn't find any message, even though there were many letters that made up a sentence, but it was a spell used to cast magic. Gladio closed the book, his eyes pensive as he stared at the candle on the table that was lighting it.

"I see! This was all planned, this power of my right hand has the power to change the world? Why am I not so sure, but…” Gladio still has doubts in his heart, all those bitter experiences made his brain think more sensitive. One wrong move he chose maybe he would get worse.

Gladio tried to suppress the confused thoughts, for now he just wanted to focus on learning what magic was in the book.

Time still go on, after that day Gladio is not tired to understand the magic in the book. Not only the book Artorius gave him, but all the books in the room he also read.

His eyes sometimes felt sore looking at all the strange writings that were very difficult for him to interpret, most of them told about the world and past events. The world is shaped by war, every race is trying to defend themselves. There were wars everywhere, as Gladio remembered from several books.

“Hmmm… somehow I don't feel hungry at all!” Gladio has started to lose emotions in his body, he is confused what will happen if he really loses something important to a human being. “I don't understand, what should I actually do? Is it true that fate has prepared something right now?”

Gladio had been studying books in that room for several months. On the last day he read the book his body became so empty, just staying silent would not change anything. Gladio started to leave Artorius' house, he approached a large tree not far from the house.

His body was slumped against a tree trunk, the feeling of soreness and saturation in him seemed to disappear when he looked up at the clear sky.

“Huh… I used to always want to be free like a bird dancing on the clouds, but why am I so hesitant now to take a step?” Gladio's eyes widened after seeing something strange happening in the sky.

The sunny weather that had looked normal now turned bright red, black clouds began to clump together with several flashes of lightning.

Gladio was horrified to see the phenomenon. "What's this? Why is the weather really changing now?” Absolutely no one answered the question, the wind began to blow fiercely.

The clumping clouds formed a giant vortex, in a moment the vortex opened and a faint light appeared. There was a huge stream of energy suddenly emerging from the circle, an extremely terrifying energy.

Gladio felt a great tremor against his right hand, it throbbed strongly. “Argh… why does this hand hurt?” His hand then emitted a fiery red light. "Ugh!"

At the same time from the vortex of clouds appeared a creature figure floating in the air, he glanced left and right.

“Is the source of that power here?” Kakuro that's his name, he is a creature that resurrected after being fused by Inshisura. "Ugh..." He was completely shocked when he sensed a great energy churning from the three o'clock direction.

Whoosh!!!

He flew and landed very roughly near the source of the power.

“Hehehe… you seem like a powerful being!” said Kakuro first to a young man who was giving him a sharp look.

"Who is this person? Why is the energy in his body so great!” After talking in his mind suddenly his right hand started throbbing again. “What else is this? Why is this hand so hard to calm down, is this his doing?” Gladio narrowed his eyes at Kakuro.

“Looks like it's true that he's the one in the prophecy! Honestly I never believed it, but after seeing this, I somehow expressed it! Alright, right now the most important thing is the strength! I've been waiting long enough to meet him!”

Having large horns on his head, muscular body, and booming voice are all characteristics of Kakuro. He still doubted whether it was true that the opponent in front of him was the person who had been a prophecy or not.

Whoosh!!!

Suddenly Kakuro attacks Gladio, from right hand he creates a sword emanating from his energy. Gladio was surprised, he didn't expect that person would come straight to him.

"Ignis Explodere!"

Kaboom!!!

Gladio swiftly used fire elemental magic and created a huge explosion. They were both blown away by the explosion. Indeed Gladio was able to avoid Kakuro's attack, but he had to get a little damage from the explosion that occurred.

“Hooh… so you can use magic like that! Alright, I'll use even more terrifying magic!” Kakuro's sword raised upwards, black clouds began to clump together.

Gladio could feel a great energy gathering within the cloud.
