As little Leo ran and ran to where the light was coming from when he saw that the monster would not get up anytime soon.

Little Leo's eyes lit up as he saw a guy eating there while an unusual burned blue or red flame or even can be said to be a mixed flame was in front of the guy.

Many foods that were considered very luxurious to many were presented in front of him.

Little Leo instantly knows that this guy can help himself.

Why does he know that guy that was far away from him was the one that can save him?

Well, it was because of the situation this guy was in.

Certainly, this guy was able to solve some monsters when this guy can even eat in a leisurely mood, right?

If this guy happened to be a clueless person, little Leo who was not even experiencing how to cry would shed countless tears.

But then, it was worth a try.

But even so, little Leo can't afford himself stopping for a moment when in the next second, the monster following him from the back can appear at his side when only stopping for a brief moment to take a breath and lessen the pain his toe was feeling.

No way could he stop, in his head, stopping only means you admit defeat and just welcome your death.

Little Leo certainly does not want that, but it was as if he was really welcoming his death as he visibly slowed down his footsteps.

A sound that someone was falling echoed in the quiet but tense air.

The monster who fell into his feet yet once again was silent but the redness of his eyes kept flickering in a dangerous light.

Little Leo lightly and with a cautious attitude turned his head back to see the situation as he really can't suppress the curiosity that was building up inside his chest.

But then, turning his head, the first thing that his eyes made contact with, was those familiar red eyes that carried bloodthirstiness even for the monster meat.

But then, the bloodthirstiness a while ago was only a little bit.

It was not like now that the monster clearly wanted to let him perceive the killing intent that purged at the monster himself.

Little Leo's heart thumped loudly as he almost stumbled when he resumed running after he made eye contact with those red eyes.

"Am I really going to die?" little Leo made a crying expression as he thought of this while he ran to save his life.

"But even if I die, I should have company right?" little Leo once again rather thought darkly.

Finally after a lot of minutes that were wasted, little Leo finally arrived in front of the guy who was still eating and was still having the leisure to look at what was happening in front of him.

Little Leo lay on the ground as if a dead fish as he finally was able to be at this guy's side.

This guy has his face half covered with his long bangs but then, because of eating, a small portion of the skin near on the guy's mouth and nose to smell the scent of the food was exposed.

Little Leo sighed.

He really thinks it was the end.

His eyes turned as his gaze became somewhat blurry when he saw that the monster was also finally able to catch up with him.

The monster even smacked his lips seeing that there were two delicacies for him to eat.

Little Leo smiled decipratingly as he got the urge to shed a tear.

He was done, not only will he be done, he even dragged down a guy that obviously lived his life safely in this dungeon.

Little Leo even got an urge once again to escape after having to see that monster face that was so ugly unlike his monster form become so dizzy that his eyes also become somewhat heavy.

"Hey...you..food" little Leo can't clearly hear what the monster had said to the guy who was quietly eating a chicken roll.

Little Leo curled up his lips as his lips drew a helpless arc.

Little Leo had no choice but to pray for his safety and this guy's safety in the Purgatory if they were finally dead and killed off by this monster's hands.

It did not cross on him, the Gabrielle that had personally sent himself to this dungeon.

How can Gabrielle not cross little Leo's mind when Gabrielle was the one who personally sent little Leo to fend off himself from the monsters who were also simply hungry for their own kind?

"Embarrassed? What was that monster talking about? Is he talking about that guy that he was so embarrassed because I saw him falling twice to his feet already? But how come! Is that guy I saw eating chicken rolls negotiating with this monster?" Little Leo secretly asked inside his heart but no one can clearly answer his doubts as he only said it inside his heart and he was not even bonded to an intelligent system who can answer all of his questions all the time.

"Kill? Why does that monster say that? Is he finally going to kill me? Or he was going to kill us then eat me and that guy raw?" little Leo continued to say secretly inside his heart.

Processing over to what little Leo said himself,

But before little Leo could do so, he was forcefully being entered to the land of darkness.

"Fuck it!" little Leo cursed badly in his consciousness.

Because he thought, he seemed to swallow his spit.

He wanted to badly vomit now and forcefully break open his dizziness.

But was helpless when his eyes could be opened anymore no matter how he tried on opening them.

Geon with a chicken roll still in his mouth looked up and down to the monster figure.

As he opened his lips once again to say, "You wanted to kill me? Can you even do it?"

System Dangena who witnessed that guy might a while ago when that guy said these words and then to his Host saying it.

System Dangena visibly cringed as she flapped her wings and said, "Host, just solve him already. That guy seemed to be nearing us as this guy who was lying now like a dead fish was that guy first trainee apprentice" system Dangena explained for his Host not to be impulsive and doing something that might anger that guy.

Geon furrowed his brows as he looked at the little guy who was lying there really like a dead fish,

His crease did not lessen but only worsened as time passed by when the monster was on the verge of impatiently killing him off after he got ahold of the other guy who was lying there like a dead fish.

After a while, Geon floated far away after having been hit by this monster claw as he opened his lips to comment about the little guy who was also floating following him,

"This little guy is so weak. Are you sure he was his apprentice?" Geon was still having his doubts as the little guy was placed far away from where he and the monster had stood.

"Yes Host. He was really that guy apprentice" system Dangena dutifully answered his Host constant doubts.

Geon furrowed his brows but did not let it get over him as he looked at the monster who was flickering his red eyes dangerously.

Geon twitches his lips as he feels a slight pain coming from his arms.

Looking at it, he saw a small portion of his mouth having a bite mark.

He frowned and looked at the monster who was currently licking his lips that was now very bloody.

Geon dare not be arrogant as he gulped down.

"My little Lovely system, this monster was too sneaky and strong" Geon commented but not too casual unlike a while ago.

System Dangena also shivered as she followed along with her Host.

"Yes Host. So I am going to turn myself in first" system Dangena said and did not wait for her Host response as he immediately went offline.

Geon thinks that he can only rely on himself now.

Just as he was feeling despair after having to encounter such a crazy monster.

A familiar mechanical sound echoed at the same time but it only further gave Geon a bad feeling than having him bring a sigh of relief from his throat.

The chain Geon was holding made a harsh sound visibly giving the monster not far away from where he is to be startled.

The monster got angry when he lost his composure after being startled by the harsh sound of the chain Geon was holding.

"You humans are really looking for death now! Don't worry, I will certainly fulfill your death wish!'' As the monster said so, his claws from all directions spread out and were coming to the Geon front to have the first attack.

Geon narrowed his brows as he also prepared himself from this fight.

The claws which almost hit Geon's arms failed its duty as Geon unexpectedly disappears from where he is standing a while ago.

The monster raises his vigilance when he sees that the guy unexpectedly disappears but then, he felt his back being heavy aa if something heavy was weighing his back down.

Turning his head unexpectedly without turning his back, it will give a creepy feeling at least for an average person who did not experience being in the same place with the creature that got such a breed in their bones.

And Geon was not a normal person.

At least, anyone related to that guy was not really normal.

And Geon proves that.

As Geon did not even bat his eyes when he raised his chain to deliver a strike.

A little blood flowed out from the monster's back as the monster loudly roared in an extreme rage as he used his claws to claw Geon out from his back.

But before the monster could do so, Geon disappeared in place yet again.

The monster was so angry that his claws were indiscriminately attacking anywhere especially after hearing what Geon had said that was specially directed at him.

Curious?

It was a sentence that simply can have the person that used it be called an arrogant guy.

"You had a strong and metallic body but too bad, even if you had such a strong body. To me, you can be killed off in no time when I break that shield of yours fully" Geon stated while swirling the tip of the chain he was holding.

It was a very arrogant word, right?
