Chapter. 4. Porcelain Doll

Winter in Germany is coming to an end. The flowers are starting to bloom, a sign that spring will replace the bitter winter at the end of February. I leaned against a bench in a small park in Weimar City. The city where German writers Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller came from.

Closing my eyes I felt the cold wind from the end of winter caressing my skin. However, my activities were interrupted by the whining sound of a teenager and the sweet smell that was so thick wafted by my nose.

"Lass mich gehen!¹ I don't want to take that medicine, I'm not sick!" The scream made my ears ring.

"Oh shit!" I grumbled changing the position of the body that was originally leaning to sit up straight.

I looked around the garden, looking for the source of the noise that had disturbed my lazy activities. It turned out to be on the right which was 10 meters from me. A girl with golden wavy hair is being chased by two men wearing nurse uniforms, and a bespectacled middle-aged woman wearing a medical coat.

The girl was surrounded by the two men. I didn't expect the white marbled skin teenager to carry a knife that was pointed at the two people who seemed to be trying to catch the girl. It seems the girl ran away from the hospital. You can see it in the clothes he wears.

"Put down that knife, Fräulein² Antoinette! Cooperate with us. We won't force you to take that medicine again," coaxed the woman wearing a doctor's coat.

"No! You've said dozens of times you won't force me to take that crazy drug. But in fact you're lying!" shrieked the girl named Antoinette.

One of the nurses tried to ambush her. Antoinette quickly pointed a knife at the nurse. However, when Antoinette was caught off guard by a nurse who was about to ambush her from the front, it turned out that another nurse managed to catch her by hugging the teenager's tiny body from behind.

Antoinette's body was dropped in a prone position after the nurse first hit Antoinette's hand until the knife she was holding fell off. The girl's hands were then clamped on her back by the nurse. Meanwhile, the nurse who had been deliberately fishing so that Antoinette was caught off guard was holding her leg so she wouldn't struggle. Then the woman wearing a doctor's coat took out an injection. She injected Antoinette into the girl's left arm.

"Stop it! I beg you, I don't want to go back to that room. I'm not crazy!" whined the girl who a few moments later she looked weak.

Apparently Antoinette was given an anesthetic. I watched as I took a deep breath. My sense of smell is not wrong. A sweet scent emanated from the girl. I kept watching from the bench.

One of the nurses is seen using HT to call another nurse. Sure enough, not long after another nurse appeared carrying a gurney. The girl's body moved carefully on the gurney. Her body was tied by a belt on the gurney so she wouldn't fall. With a quick stride the three nurses and one who I assumed was a doctor would take the girl to the hospital.

"Which hospital are you going to take, the girl?" I muttered curiously.

I followed them from behind. By the park gate, on the sidewalk an ambulance was parked. I crept, hiding behind a tree near a hedge of plants. As the ambulance sped up, I rushed to follow.

Don't be surprised if I can follow a vehicle quickly just by running. Vampires have the ability to move quickly, even being able to keep up with the speed of sound. The car stopped at a hospital I knew was a mental hospital. I watched from behind the trees that grew tall in front of the hospital yard. I saw Antoinette's gurney being pushed into the hospital entrance after being removed from the ambulance.

I tried to get inside by changing into the same form as the male nurses who work in this hospital. I quickly followed Antoinette's gurney. Until he arrived at a room where the girl with a beautiful face like a doll was lying on the patient's bed.

Antoinette is very sad. Still in an unconscious state, her petite body was dressed in a white jacket with many straps. I'm surprised. Why is Antoinette wearing a jacket for people with mental disorders? Because I feel the child is fine. I knew the smell of blood coming from Antoinette's body was no indication of mental illness. Yes, even though the sweet scent of the girl's memories is so obvious. 'll make sure tonight what's the problem with the beautiful teenager.

It's night time. It was almost midnight. All the medical staff had gone home, leaving only the doctor on duty and several nurses on night shift duty at the hospital. I walked down the hospital hallway to Antoinette's room. Not difficult to open a locked door. With just one magic the door is easily opened.

I saw that Antoinette was curled up with her body wrapped in jacket straps to prevent the girl who was thought to have a mental problem from hurting her. She was wide-eyed as I casually entered her infirmary.

"Go away! I don't want to take drugs or anesthetic injections anymore. I'm not crazy. I'm healthy!" The girl suddenly shouted.

I closed the bedroom door before I was caught because Antoinette's screams could attract the nurse's attention.

"Shh. Calm down. I'm not here to give you medicine." I grabbed the body lying curled up on the floor in the corner of the room. I held the teenage girl's body and sat her on the bed. At first the girl looked scared, but she calmed down after one by one I removed the straps of the jacket she was wearing.

The girl excitedly threw a jacket for a mentally disturbed human towards the door. It turned out that this girl was really very beautiful, like a porcelain doll. The deep blue irises decorated with thick and thick eyelashes, the two rainbow-like eyebrows, the small and bangs nose, the natural red lips and the smooth smooth skin make it very perfect.

"Thank you Herr..." Antoinette spoke up.

"Call me Claude," I interrupted.

"Ah yes Mr. Claude. Danke has taken the jacket off me," said Antoinette who immediately hugged me.

"This is the first time a nurse has treated me well."

"Unfortunately, I'm not a nurse," I said back to my original form.

"I'm not even human. It's just that I was moved to help you when I saw you being chased by a nurse in a city park, earlier."

Antoinette's eyes widened at the change in my form. However, there was no glint of fear in his eyes, instead a look of amazement in those clear eyes. "What creature are you, Mr. Claude? Are you a wizard or a ghost?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm the one who will help you get rid of the memories you want to get rid of here." I pointed at Antoinette's head.

"So you can move on with your life unencumbered by those memories," I said softly.

"How did you know I wanted my bad memories to be erased?" Clear grains slid down Antoinette's smooth rosy cheeks.

"I know, that's all I can say." I gasped when Antoinette came running over and hugged me again.

Perhaps if I had remained the way I was before the Memória curse, I would have turned this girl into a vampire and made her my companion. I really like the look of the girl with golden hair in front of me.

"Hurry up. Get rid of the memories so I can quickly leave this terrible place!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Wow. This is the first time I've easily earned human trust.

"Okay because you let me. Measure any of your hands."

Antoinette stretched out her hands. I grabbed her left hand, then slowly bit the pulse on Antoinette's wrist. The girl squealed, she was very surprised to see me pull out fangs biting her wrist.

"You, it turns out vam–" Antoinette's words weren't over but she suddenly fell unconscious after I sucked her blood on her wrist.

I sat with my head down on Antoinette's bed. Previously I laid the teenager's body on the bed after she fell unconscious. I prepared to receive a flash of Antoinette's memories. Every night, Antoinette experiences terror perpetrated by her father. Just as I thought Antoinette was like a porcelain doll, so did his father–Darek who called Antoinette his Porcelain Doll.

A father should bestow his child with love like a parent. However, it is different from Darek who considers the biological child of his late wife – Antoinette's biological mother. He considers Antoinette as his life partner in lieu of his wife – Frederika.

Antoinette was raped. Treated like a wife by her father. If she refuses then the caning awaits Antoinette. The girl's life was very tormented. Antoinette couldn't stand her father. Her strength wasn't enough to resist her father's body when he wanted to fondle Antoinette

Antoinette became a gloomy person at school. He had no friends because he was afraid that his father would forbid Antoinette from socializing. Until one day he met the figure of a girl like himself in the mirror in his father's room. The girl claimed to be Frederika, the same name as Antoinette's mother. Frederika was very sad to learn that Antoinette was enslaved by her father.

"Don't worry, Antoinette. I'll help you get out of Darek. I promise!" cried Frederika.

And, the promise was realized. One night, where Darek wants to fuck Antoinette. Darek, who was hugging Antoinette's body, watched Frederika come out of the big mirror in her room.

Darek was so surprised by the appearance of a scary-faced Frederika in front of him.

"You're dead, Frederika. I witnessed the food I poisoned kill your life!" Darek screamed as Frederika stood staring at him intently.

"You bastard Darek. I've come to avenge what you did to Antoinette. You die!" Frederika lunged at Darek's body on his bed.

She let go of Darek's embrace from Antoinette. Then she violently tore apart Darek's body using his fingernails. Tear off the skin of Antoinette's father's neck. Meanwhile Antoinette just gaped at the horrific scene in front of her. Darek's body floundered. Fresh blood stained his pillows and bed sheets. Frederika's scary face turned friendly after Darek stopped moving. She approached Antoinette who was shaking violently and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry mom who couldn't protect you from Darek. After this no one will ever hurt you again." Antoinette let go of Frederika's arms.

He couldn't believe what had happened, because for Antoinette his mother had died. "M-mother." That was all Antoinette could say. Suddenly the flash went dark.

I thought the memories were over and led to questions in my head. Why did Antoinette end up in a mental hospital? It turns out that the flash of memories is not over yet. Antoinette woke up in the morning with blood stained clothes, hands and mouth. Initially, it was the housekeeper who worked at Antoinette's house who found the girl covered in blood. Until the police took him to prison. However, the results of the examination said that if Antoinette had a mental disorder, the prison sentence was changed by sending the teenager to a rehabilitation center for mental disorders for teenagers.

In fact, Antoinette had denied that she did not have a mental disorder and that it was Frederika's spirit who appeared through the mirror who killed her father. Unfortunately, no one believed Antoinette until she was finally locked up in a mental hospital ward.

I wiped my sweat-drenched face. I saw a beautiful face sleeping on a hospital bed. I stroked the girl's head. How tragic is your fate, Antoinette.

"Hopefully with the loss of bad memories of the past, you can continue your life in the present and the future." I kissed Antoinette's forehead before leaving the mental hospital and looking for other humans who need my help to erase their memories.
