Chapter 10

Chapter 10

Sky's face gave off the impression that he was giving the results of the test a great deal of thought as they were about to be delivered, and a few seconds later, the results were displayed on the screen in a timely manner.

'Sigh' Officer Silvester let out a dissatisfied grunt as he examined the result, which revealed that Sky was just as feeble as he had been before and had not improved in any way whatsoever.

As Sky peeked inside, he did so with a frown on his face as he became aware that none of his hopes would be achieved. As he examined all of the ideas that had been running through his head, he clinched his fist in anger and ground his teeth together.

As Sky considered the circumstances surrounding his mother and the loan sharks, he was filled with a sense of hopelessness. He acknowledged to himself, "it looks like I really am cursed."

"Mr. Sky, I want to offer my sincere gratitude for your assistance, and I wish you all the best for a rapid recovery."

Sky didn't even have time to respond before Officer Silvester left the room. He was completely caught off guard. Officer Silvies was tasked with going to the more senior members of the Knight's Order and breaking the unfortunate news to them. Sky didn't even have time to answer to her friend's question.

Sky did not budge from hid position in bed as he contemplated the next step he ought to take.

"Should I Step Down from being a knight a Knight?"

"But where on earth am I going to acquire a job so that I can take care of my mom?"

"What about those jerks from tge casino, how was he goin to pay them?"

While Sky was sited on his, he was contemplating what he would do with the rest of his life. As he moved his hand to look at it, he saw that his hand was quite fair and resembled the hand of a woman. This revelation jolted Sky out of his dream.

Even if he had the desire to become a knight once more, his body is not in a condition that would allow him to do so at this point in time. Even when he possessed a body that was considerably more muscular, he was still perpetually on the edge of life and death. It is almost clear that he would pass away if he attempted to return to the life of a knight in his current feeble physical state.

【User has a total of ten minutes to complete the current task】

Sky thought he heard someone speaking to him quite near to his ear, but it turned out to be a strange mechanical voice that was reverberating in his ears.

He was terrified, and he looked around the entire room while acting hysterically, but he didn't find anyone there.

It was right as he was about to dismiss it as a hallucination that he came to the conclusion that it was most likely a result of the things that had been going on in his life recently.

【User has less than 10 minutes to complete the current mission】

Sky once again became frightened when he heard the voice, and this time his reaction was one of total and utter panic.

He was at a loss as to whether he should escape or remain, and just as he was beginning to become disoriented as a result of his uncertainty, the robotic voice started to ring in his head once more.

This time, he didn't need to be told what to do; he swiftly jumped out of bed and began making preparations to bolt out of the room.

Following the appearance of something that seemed like a blue screen in front of his eyes, he came perilously near to losing his balance and tumbling over.

Sky took another glance at the strange blue screen, and this time he was completely taken aback by it. Now that the anxiousness that he had been experiencing in the past had fully subsided, he was at a loss as to what he should be thinking. Sky declared, "I am without a doubt screwed."

However, despite his best efforts, he was only able to touch air when he tried to contact the screen while he was running away

【Mission: body strengthening

Starus:in progress

Time:00:9:45】

The moment he took in the information that was presented to him on the blue screen, he was overcome with confusion. The only thing that came into his head at the time was,

"What mission?, is this some type of mission from the Knight's order?" However, all of a sudden, he recalled the location where he had heard the peculiar mechanical voice.

In spite of the fact that his memory of the most recent events that took place in the demon grotto was not the clearest it could be, he remembered hearing that voice.

It is quite possible that the demon lord Moloch was involved in some way with aprarence of  this voice.

As soon as Sky realized why he was hearing the voice and seeing the blue screen, he was able to regain a better sense of control over his emotions.

After one minute had passed, the blue screen disappeared, putting Sky in an awkward position once more because he hadn't done anything to cause its disappearance but it had happened anyway.

Sky was unable to fight the urge to speculate, "Is this some kind of terrifying ploy?"

"Or did I die, and this is what happens after one's life on earth is gone?"

He thought to herself, "This must have been a reward for all of the good that I did while I was living," and "no wonder I have such a beautiful face," he concluded.

It was then that he asked, "But then, how am I expected to explain this to the Knight Order?"

"Or is there some kind of order similar to a knighthood in this world after this one?"

……

As Sky continued, his ideas became more irrational, and it seemed as though he had completely lost track of all that had occurred in the past.

Sky was a full overthinker, and while this habit did a lot to benefit him, it also had a negative side to it, as what was happening right now.

The door to the room produced a noise like it was creaking, the door handle was pulled down, and a woman's face could be seen peeping through the door in an effort to see what was hidden behind it.

She had barely passed through when she overheard a voice speaking to himself and talking to himself; this room was supposed to have a Knight who had been injured while on a mission.

As the sun had fallen and it was time for the doctors to exchange shifts, the majority of the doctors had left for the night, which made this the perfect opportunity to examine the Knight. The young nurses were unable to view him before since they were not permitted in the room where he was being treated. They were all eager to see him, but they were not permitted to enter the room where he was being, due to security reasons.

When she first entered the room, she was taken aback by the sight of the most handsome man she had ever seen. After being transfixed by his physical attributes for a little period of time, she eventually became conscious of the young man's peculiar actions.

"Has he lost his mind?" was the first thing that sprang to her mind when she noticed Sky talking to himself in a conversational exchange.

She enquired to know what was goin on "Sir Knight are alright," but he did not answer her question.

" There is a good chance that this Knight suffers from some kind of brain impairment." She thought

She refrained from completely entering the room despite the fact that Sky was behaving in an odd manner since, in spite of everything, he was still a Knight, and she did not want to get into trouble.

As she continued to stare at Sky, she gave a pitying shake of the head and murmured, "Such a handsome Knight, all the young nurses would surely agree if he asked them out." Fixing her entire gaze and attension on sky.

She abruptly recalled that in her capacity as a nurse, it was her obligation to report what was happening here to the appropriate doctorss, and she did so immediately.

She gushed over Sky's striking good looks once more before continuing.

After swiftly closing the door behind her, she dashed towards the medical staff, in her thought she vould not help but exclaim "Don't worry, handsome Knight. You will be saved by me."

Sky, who had been completely lost in his own thoughts, was completely oblivious to what had taken place; in fact, he didn't even notice the young nurse who had entered the room after he had been there for some time.

【User has less than 10 seconds to complete the current, or user will be sent to the training site】

When Sky eventually became distracted from in his thoughts, he was brought back to the present by the robotic voice of the system. He had allowed himself to be sidetracked for an excessively long time.

Sky let out a cry that sounded like the curse and said, "Damn it not again, I have been thinking for the entire nine minutes and something!"

Since the moment he first began to use his power as a Knight, Sky had been acutely aware of his strange conduct. In addition to being able to sense his surroundings, he was also able to "sort of talk to himself,"

which is how he described his capacity to communicate with himself. He was able to do his analysis of the situation more swiftly by using this strategy and method,

Even though he didn't really understand what was going on, he started thinking of ways to interfere with whatever was going to happen next because he only had 20 seconds left.

There were approximately nine seconds left, and he had tried all there was to attempt to find a way to interrupt what was going on, but he had been unsuccessful.

"Hey, stop mission, am not interested"

"Halt mission"

"Going is not to the mission is probably not something that interests me in the least bit, only God know what kind of crazy would happen if i decide to go"

……

Sky continued to try finding ways to halt whatever was happening, but nothing worked; there were only about five seconds left before whatever was going to happen, so he decided to stop trying altogether and just wait for whatever was going to happen, given that he didn't really have control over it, he thought that it was useless to continue stress in himself over it.

The timer that counts down until the beginning of the quest is now at 0 seconds.

【The currently scheduled mission will begin as planned because the user did not interfere with its execution.】

【The User will be transported to training site A1】

【Sot tight】

"Transportation," "am I Going to Take a Bus or Something Else," , "Am I Going to…" sky thought of all other method of transportation he could think of  but none was going to carry him directly from this room.

Just as Sky was beginning to feel confused, an odd event took place in the room: a circle of darkness began to compress immediately in front of him, and a split second later, it converted into a rotating wormhole. The event took place just as Sky was beginning to feel mystified. The opening of the wormhole seemed like the mouth of a gigantic worm, while the interior appeared to be a river that was flowing in a direction opposite to that of its outward flow.

Sky was taken aback to the point of utter confusion; although this wasn't the first time he'd been confused today, it was by far the one that had affected him the most. Sky was completely shocked to an unbelievable degree.

Sky had the need to flee during the approximately two seconds that it took for the entirety of the wormhole to appear. Because of the many unfortunate events that had transpired today, he did not feel prepared to travel through any wormholes and so did not want to find out what was at the end of the wormhole in question.

But the wormhole left Sky with no choice; just as he was about to make a dash for the door, the wormhole trembled like a large worm and gobbled Sky up in his entirety.

"Ahh!!!" Sky let out a scream, he thought that  he was being consumed; he was prepared for some kind of pain, but nothing of the sort occurred; instead, he only had the sensation that he had fallen into a well that had no bottom; he just continued falling down into the abyss.
