He closed his eyes...

In the chaos that was space, he drifted through the thousands of pieces that floated around... Haphazardly.

He had his eyes closed even as a piece headed straight for him... He made no move to dodge it... If this piece hit, he would be in for a world of pain.

Ten meters...

Six meters...

Three meters...

It was only when the piece was just a meter away that his body moved.

He pushed off to the left as he twisted his body to escape the trajectory of the piece... It was the best move he could make, but he had taken off too late, the result... A painful graze across his upper arm.

He groaned in pain as he struggled to find his balance... He had not gotten over that before he pushed off another rock to escape another hit.

The sight quickly become one where he came closer and closer to getting hit before he managed an escape.
