It had been a week since I became a Fake Regressor. Except for the fact that I finally moved from my old house to the Regressors' house with my mother, all I did this week was train and plan for my future.

I already had a story prepared in case any questions about why I live with my mother and care for her arose in the future.

When i will reveal my potential as an S rank, many people would try their hardest to dig out my history and secrets. 

They would try to use little things to throw dirt on me and drag me down. They will not care about me being a potential S rank slayer who will one day save them from the monsters that resides on the other side of the border.

They will not care that humanity may loose one of its potential pillars in this Apocalypse. All they would do is to drag me down for their own benifits and selfish desires. 

That reminds me of the saying

' Some people aren't satisfied until they sabotage someone else's happiness. Be careful of who you trust , not everyone who smiles at you is your friend.'  

Especially in this dog-eat-dog Apocalyptic world.

In these past 7 days I created a list of people who I need to be cautious against, who I need to destroy at all cost, who could be of benifit to me, etc.

I also created a List on all the events that will take place in the future, from small to big. 

The system was a great help in sorting and recalling everything.

When the superpowers first appeared, they didn't appear in a specific group of people, but rather at random.

People had no choice but to pick up weapons and fight at the start of the Apocalypse, when everything was chaotic and the risk of death was always high.

However, as time passed and humans were able to control situations to some extent, those who had awakened super-powers were also able to take a breather.

Slayers with similar skill sets, superpowers, and experience banded together and formed their own groups.

These various groups later evolved into various professions that people with similar interests or skill sets chose to pursue.

To choose a profession, one must first be a slayer.

People usually choose careers based on their superpowers, the weapons they use, the art they practise, or the experience and interests they had prior to awakening.

For example :- A common blacksmith who later in his life awakens and becomes a Slayer mostly decides to take blacksmith as a profession and make weapons and gears for Slayers.

 Or people who do not had any prior experience in any certain job and later awakens a super-power related to a job then they can definitely try and become a professional in that job.

The criteria for getting into a profession is very easy but at the same time its very hard to actually level it up.

A person has to pass certain requirements and criteria to actually level up in thier respective professions.

The professions are ranked in stars form 1 star to all the way upto 9 stars.

The profession, on the other hand, only becomes important after E+ rank, which means that once you cross E+ rank, you must be at least a 1 star professional at rank D- to be considered an average Rank D- slayer.

A 3 star slayer at rank D is regarded as a genius in his or her profession.

The profession was similar to body talent ranks in that the higher they go in stars, the more difficult it is to level up.

A person can advance in two ways: first, by learning an art, and second, by practising the profession and forging one's own path.

Different professions have their own arts, such as a swordsman having sword arts, a healer having healing arts, and a blacksmith having his own arts.

The arts are divided with the same ranking system as the professions and a certain rank art can only help your profession to level up to only that certain level.

Like a 4 stars sword art can only help you level up to a 4 stars swordsman

Now this raises a question that most people have.

" What are these arts and where do they come from ? "

The arts were the scriptures, the holy texts, the ancient methods, the martial arts books, the scrolls, or any other thing through which the knowledge about a certain topic was passed down from ancient times was called art.

 Some were kept in museums, some were owned by families whose roots date back to ancient times, some were bought by powerful people, Some were found in ruins, some were discovered by archeologist, treasure hunters, etc.

And, In all of this arts were not alone. The weapons, and artifacts were the same too.

So now a new question arises.

Why didn't these arts, weapons and artifacts worked before the apocalypse ?.

The answer for this question I got from the Regressor's memory is different from what people believe now.

In the current time period, people believe that when the cosmic wave descended upon the world the ancient artifacts, weapons and arts also mutated like all the living organisms because they had some legends attached to them and many people believed in them so some kind of power of faith made them mutate.

But according to the Regressors' memory of the future, these arts, artifacts and weapons were actually sealed due to some unknown reason by a God who also put a time limit on the seals and the lack of mana in the atmosphere changed their forms to what they were known as before the Apocalypse.

So when the cosmic waze hit the planet and  brought back mana in the atmosphere, the animals, plants and humans weren't the only things that were affected by it, But the weapons, arts, artifacts from ancient times also got revived, their seal was broken due to the time period of it being over and the presence of mana in the atmosphere made them change back into their true forms.

For Example- 

The great sword Excalibur that has so many legends attached to its name and was kept in a museum got awakened in the Apocalypse and was now one of the most powerful sword in the world.

Same goes for a sword art from japan whose contents literally changed completely after the apocalypse and it became the  worlds 1st, 8 star sword art.

This world till now has only seen one 9 star sword art that was currently in possession of the number one swordsman Rossin Soul, who was also the 3rd strongest Slayer in the world with an ss rank.

But even he was only an 8 star swordsman and isn't able to become a 9 star till now, but he will in future.

I already had the best maximum body talent in the world, I also knew where to get my sword very soon. So, what's left was the Sword arts I will use.

The Regressor at his peak in the last life was an A+ rank 7 star swordsman. He had read through countless arts that were below rank 7 and that included not only sword arts but also arts of other weapons. 

He also read through countless low level arts that were made public in the Academy for students. 

So for now I already had the knowledge of countless arts and all that's left was to just train in the rank 7 one and make my body accustomed to it.

I wasn't going to use the rank 7 sword art for long. My goal was the rank 9 sword art that will be discovered in future and would take the whole world by surprise.

I already knew the location of that art but I wasn't strong enough to go to that place at the moment, so I thought about using the rank 7 sword art for the time being.

It was then, An absurd idea popped up in my head. 

' System! Can you analyze the different arts from my memory and create a sword art from them that is best suitable for me. '

I asked the system in my brain with anticipation.

[ Affirmative ]

And the system didn't disappoint me at all, the positive response from the system means that my idea worked, and this was only the beginning, once I got my hands on more arts I will continuously upgrade my arts into an ultimate sword art.

But this method has a drawback and that is the training time. Each time I upgrade my sword arts, it will take me time to change from the old one to new. 

So I make another plan, according to which when i get my hands on the rank 9 sword art I will take it as a base sword art and make a formless sword art that can be upgraded and changed anytime.

But that was a talk for future, so I didn't delve into that topic too much.
