A noise was heard in an orphanage, a group of youths were seen intimidating other youths. Raphael Salazar was seen curled up on the ground while protecting his head from the kicks given by his other friends.

"Look at this loser, I haven't even hit you yet, but you're already cowering like that," Simon said laughing mockingly at Raphael who was already scared to see him.

Raphael's body trembled with fear when he realized Simon was moving closer to him, he stepped back, avoiding Simon who was sure to beat him with all the strength the young man had.

Raphael felt his hair being pulled by Simon so he could look up and look at the boy.

"I've told you many times to look at me when I speak, don't you want this Loser?" Simon asked with a smirk hanging on his lips.

Panicked and frightened, Raphael painstakingly nodded his head, confirming Simon's words to him. I don't know what Simon will do to him, Raphael can only wait for the strange orders that these evil people will give.

"Tomorrow the administrators will choose the people who will enter the dungeon and you must volunteer to come along, if you don't want to die, then do as I tell you!" After saying his threatening words, Simon slammed Raphael's head firmly on the ground, then stomped away with the crowd no matter how Raphael was.

Seeing Simon and his gang leave, Raphael slowly got up from his slumped position while holding his head which started to throb in pain from being hit by the ground with a force.

“I hope you can still hold on,” Raphael muttered to his exhausted body.

Raphael Salazar lives in one of the orphanages in Crimson Town, as an orphan he must fend for himself for his life, even though he is in an orphanage, but that does not guarantee that his life will be safe and peaceful.

Living as an orphan who is weak and looks innocent, Raphael has to live his life hard because he is often bullied by his other friends. Raphael is often used because he is very obedient and kind, they think Raphael is very easy to beat and finally now they are increasingly bullying poor Raphael.

Raphael sighed in resignation, then cleaned his dirty clothes from falling on the ground. After tidying up his appearance, Raphael walked into the orphanage and put a fake smile on his lips.

Inside the orphanage, Raphael was greeted with another headache because he saw from a distance the caretaker of this orphanage walking around annoyed, most likely the aunt was looking for him at this time. Raphael had also prepared himself to be scolded again.

When she saw Raphael's figure, Veronica the caretaker of the orphanage walked quickly towards the young man, then without any warning, the middle-aged woman grabbed Raphael's hair, “I told you not to play outside when it was dinner time! Should I warn you of this over and over again!” Veronica hissed at the side of Raphael's ear, making the young man's hairs grow in fear.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. I won't do it again," said Raphael while begging for mercy from Veronica who was currently gripping the young man's hair tightly.

"Go to the dining room now! Everything is delayed because of you, you ignorant, Kid!" Veronica finally let go of her grip and walked away leaving Raphael alone there.

It really hurts that Raphael is always treated badly by those around him, he even forgot the last time he felt loved by those closest to him. In fact, his tears had already dried from Raphael's feeling of this pain too many times.

With strange steps, Raphael walked towards the huge hall in the orphanage where he lived, in that hall they had dinner together.

Raphael took his seat in the back corner of the hall, he just sat there quietly and did nothing. When the head of the board finished the prayer, then they were allowed to have dinner.

With his head bowed, Raphael ate the dinner that was served perfunctory. They only got, one potato with a bowl of cream soup which was getting cold. Raphael didn't really mind that, at least he could still fill his stomach with food, instead of starving to death out there.

Many orphans are abandoned in this orphanage, if Raphael remember correctly there are about five hundred people here. Their kingdom is still often at war with other kingdoms, making the population of abandoned children become large. Raphael was one of the children who had been there for a long time.

Since the age of five Raphael has lived in the orphanage, and now he will be eighteen. In a few months, Raphael will have to get out of this orphanage because of his mature age.

It was time for Raphael to explore the Dungeons scattered throughout this Teal Kingdom. If Raphael wanted to survive in this world, then he had to be able to clear a dungeon. As Simon had said earlier, they would be tested to enter a Dungeon tomorrow.

However, Raphael didn't understand why Simon had asked him to take part in the dungeon test tomorrow, instead if he did then the rest of his group couldn't join? Wouldn't inviting him only make Raphael profitable?

Raphael doesn't really know what Simon is really thinking, actually Raphael really intends to take part in the Dungeon trial, even though he knows he has weak wind magic, even his strength is far below normal.

A harsh reality for Raphael when he found out that he only had a small amount of magic capacity, he could only cast small magic that wasn't very useful. Even so, Raphael doesn't want to give up on this Dungeon trial, he wants to change this pathetic life, in order to make that happen, Raphael must pass this test and leave this cursed orphanage.

Today in the backyard of the orphanage, the grown up children were gathered, there were as many as a hundred people gathered in the backyard and one of them was Raphael.

“I'm sure you guys already know why it's gathered here. The kingdom told us that the Dungeon trial this time will only select ten people,” said Richard as one of the caretakers of the orphanage who is responsible for teaching the youth in the orphanage.

Whispers began to sound among the youths, hoping that they could be selected and take part in the trial this time, but they were immediately surprised by Richard's next words.

“However, you guys should know that this Dungeon will be very dangerous, even professional Wanderers have died in that dungeon.” Richard smirked when he saw the faces of the young men turn white and look terrified.

Raphael was shocked, his hands began to tremble with fear, he became indecisive, should he pass this test?

However, Raphael had no other choice when he caught a death glare from Simon, who reminded Raphael that he had to do this test, even if he died he would at least die for his struggles.

After all, if Raphael didn't go, he would definitely be beaten to death by Simon and his gang.
