“Ms. Lynn, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” Brutus showered a genial smile.

“The pleasure is mine, Mr. Bolt,” Kyra stood and shook hands with him.

“Wait, why are you sitting in a corner?” Brutus quickly queried.

“About that, sir…” Saxon quickly entered the scene. “She said—”

Brutus slapped Saxon so swift and hard Saxon felt his head spinning. “Did I ask you? Why are you putting your mouth into our conversation?”

“M-My apologies, sir,” Saxon moved back two steps, with his hand covering his bruised cheek. He lowered his gaze in shame.

Brutus turned to face Kyra but his thumb still pointed at Saxon. “Did he cause you any inconvenience?”

“Forget about him, Mr. Bolt,” Kyra said. “I’m willing to buy this restaurant.”

Brutus was quite happy to hear that. “You will?”

“Yes, but can we talk about this while we eat?” Kyra requested.

“Of course.”

“And I want this young lady to serve us, if that’s fine with you,” Kyra patted Jessica’s shoulder.

“Sure,” Brutus had no reason to object.
