COWARD PRINCE
In the midst of a large stage, a gorgeous lady stood looking at a young man opposite her. Her irises reflected golden light with great confidence and power oozing out from them but there was also contempt. At the young man standing opposite her - she glared in contempt.“You seem to be getting upset by something, sister?” The plain looking young man standing opposite her spoke with a smug face as he rubbed his chin with his hand.“Your face, seeing it makes me sick Ushar.” The lady replied with a sneer.“Hmm… I know, you have said that about a thousand times already but you still can’t stop looking at my sickening face.” Ushar spoke sarcastically still rubbing his chin smugly. The lady face trembled in anger for some moments before she looked off to the side, “Father should really come now, I don’t think I can holdback myself for much longer.”The whole place was built like a coliseum with large rock pillars supporting wooden stands into which chairs were carved seating everyone. REBELLIOUS HEIR
Hours later, Ushar walked through a dim pathway which had some classic paintings and sculptures all around. In front of him was a gigantic door in front of which two purple eyed vampires stood dutifully. Their eyes dimmed a little on seeing him, but Ushar ignored them pushing against the closed doors which opened in ward and sitting on a gigantic black throne in the distance, King Axim could be seen, his eyes closed.“Close the doors.” King Axim spoke without opening his eyes and Ushar stared at him for a moment before turning back and closing the large doors behind and then he turned back to the King.“I greet the Blood Lord.” He said with a brief bow.“You did a good job, son, you made a great decision today and I am proud of you.” The King spoke while Ushar stared towards the ground where several patterns were inscribed.“It’s just the deal, I get to know my mother now, right?” He asked and the King sighed.“Indeed, it was a deal but still, you have the power to claim the crown. MY CONDOLENCES
“I am more interested in knowing this, why would a Royal Vampire mate a human? they are just foods, how could you?” Ushar asked in denial, failing to understand how his mother could be human. He had grown up in the Vampire world and all his life, humans had always been just source of blood for Vampires, a relationship between a Vampire and human could not even be conceived by most Vampires, even Ushar felt repulsed by that idea. In fact he suddenly felt repulsed by himself, now he understood why all other Vampires detested him, after all he was only a half breed with the blood of a lowly human.“How could I? Well… I was just a young Vampire who loved to explore, I like to follow my heart and test boundaries, I didn’t even care about what any other person thought. Back then, you would better not tell me something is right because I would simply do all I can to prove that it is not and that the opposite of your claim is actually the right one. On a random day, I decided to break into th
BONE DEMON
Ushar stood frozen in place still looking at the bony husk of what had been his mother. He never thought that he would feel much emotion for her demise, in fact the excitement to see his mother had died in him immediately he had realized she was a human, such lowly creature, he detest them. However, on setting his sight on her, he was blown off.Yes, his mother was not powerful.Yes, she was not overbearing and her beauty was not even off charts but she was her. A firm woman with unbending will, fearless even in face of a predator and now he could understand why his father would want her, he understood the very instant he had heard her spoke.Looking at her now, a sudden need to hear her voice came over him, her dependable voice felt like the only thing that had been missing in his life all along. He wanted to feel her regal aura, to see her elegant face but that has become impossible, the Queen had taken his mother away from him and she had did so in the cruelest manner.“What have y
A CHOSEN PEOPLE
The Queen groaned as blood trailed down her mouth and when Ushar removed his knees from her stomach, a gaping hole could be seen in the Queen’s torso inflicted by a bloodied spike could be seen on Ushar knees. It had in fact jutted out just before his knee impacted the Queen’s stomach. The Queen tried to pull back but the bony arm holding her was too firm, Ushar suddenly saw her opened her mouth and a surge of swirling red aura blasted out continuously slamming into him.Grunting, he pushed against the surge but slowly and surely, he was being pushed back before the Queen raised her hand as well. Another two column joined in slamming into him and Ushar was picked off his feet, slamming violently through a building in the distance only stopping at the other wall and numerous gasps rang out.Sucking in a deep breathe, he spat off a clot of blood before looking to the side, he could see several humans huddled together. Their features distorted in great terror, he however had greater prob
HELPING THE BONE DEMON
The King grunted as the golden glow in his eyes dimmed for a moment but it had lit back, far brighter than usual.“How, how can you summon so much power without blood” the Queen exclaimed staggering back as the wind generated from the spiraling dome threatened to pick her off her feet, it was a terrifying tornado.Within the tornado, the Vampire King rose before speaking, “I am not like you, I have experience the terror of the outside world and have grown” he spoke before turning towards the five Vampires, “you guys are guilty, but forgiven because the Vampire race needs more Royals not less” he said before turning to the Queen, “as for you, your fate will be decided by him” he said before the glow in his eyes started to dim and this time, it did not lit up again. The King softly landed on the ground as the cyclone slowly dissipated. Suddenly, the King grunted falling unto his knees and his body was turned greatly shrunken as if he had aged greatly within this few seconds. In fact tha
THE GUARDIAN
“You have to leave… you have to leave bone demon…”It sounded faint, everything sounded faint and Ushar was glad for that as he stared at a mound of crystals in front of him. This was the only thing that his brain seems capable of understanding now, his mother had died and he had found a final resting place for her at the foot of a lone hill.“You have to leave…” The annoying voice however persisted and this time it sounded close, very close that his ear tickled and Ushar realized that whatever was making that sound must be very close to him.On this realization, his whole being went on high alert as he leapt up spreading his arms to guard his mother’s grave with his teeth barred as he looked around.“It's me… it’s me Dunn.” A childish voice spoke and Ushar stiffened for a moment before slowly looking down. Right there in front of him, Dunn – the kid who had helped him find this burial place stood looking up at him with a nervous expression while repeatedly glancing around.Ushar slow
DARK EYES
Ushar eyes were wide open as he stared at ceiling above him. Now, he had grown accustomed to the bright light and they no longer hurt his head. Ushar could not help wonder why sun light could hurt him but these lights could not.“What does it matter anyway, I am going to leave here someday and when I do…” Ushar stopped his mutterings as he stared down at two metallic locks which held his legs securely to the bed. His hand were also spread to the side and locked by the same chains.Ushar simply could not believe mere humans could reduce him to this situation but no matter how he tried to break through the locks, they simply proved unbreakable even when he transformed.“Here we go again.” A voice spoke from the side and Ushar slowly turned towards his right where a transparent screen was, through this screen, two figures were looking at him – a lady with long straight brown hair and brown eyes, she always had a sweat suit on her body and the other person, he had the figure of a man and
THE HUMAN PART
Several hours passed after Ushar brief exchange with the lady who called herself Linda, from her words, he also gleaned that the masked person that usually came with her was called Boss.Ushar however gleaned one more fact and perhaps, the more important fact. For a long time, Ushar had thought long and hard about escaping this place. The locks were a problem but after countless attempts at pulling out of them, the metal had began to expand from inside and the only thing holding Ushar back now was his dread of the sun. While speaking earlier however, Linda had mentioned that the masked person called Boss had always came to see him first thing in the morning and this was Ushar key. In the Blood Kingdom, they had always been taught that if by any means they were forced to go to Earth, they should only move at night to avoid the sun.In these room however, the lights were always on and bright leaving him no room to differentiate between morning and night. With the knowledge that the last
JOINING THE SEER MECENARY
In his room, Ushar sat up the side of his bed but he wasn’t the only person in the room, standing opposite him was Linda and Boss.“So… All you needed was a good beating to agree that you need our help.” Linda spoke staring at Ushar whose head was bowed towards the ground with his long hair scattered all over his head. When he woke up and remembered all that had happened, he was in great denial, he could not believe in had been defeated by humans and for many days, he wallowed in shame and despair but the lady called Linda never ceased to visit him and eventually, he decided to have a talk with Boss and the result of their discuss would determine if he could work with him or fight to death. Now however, this lady was beginning to get on his nerve as he replied coldly, “I don’t need your help human… your Boss needs my help.” Ushar spoke without lifting his face and Linda glanced at the boss who was standing to a side.“He is right, Linda.” The boss paused for a moment and then continue
