Ushar eyes were wide open as he stared at ceiling above him. Now, he had grown accustomed to the bright light and they no longer hurt his head. Ushar could not help wonder why sun light could hurt him but these lights could not.
“What does it matter anyway, I am going to leave here someday and when I do…” Ushar stopped his mutterings as he stared down at two metallic locks which held his legs securely to the bed. His hand were also spread to the side and locked by the same chains.
Ushar simply could not believe mere humans could reduce him to this situation but no matter how he tried to break through the locks, they simply proved unbreakable even when he transformed.
“Here we go again.” A voice spoke from the side and Ushar slowly turned towards his right where a transparent screen was, through this screen, two figures were looking at him – a lady with long straight brown hair and brown eyes, she always had a sweat suit on her body and the other person, he had the figure of a man and was dressed in a gentleman suit but with his face covered in some dark mask and his hand also gloved, his voice was also that of a man.
After breaking out of the room sometimes ago before he was knocked out by the sun and some injection, Ushar eventually woke up and this time, he was chained to the bed by this terrifyingly tough metals. The wall he damaged seems to have been replaced by a transparent glass and behind this glass, the mask person came and spoke to him about helping him but of course, Ushar would certainly die before taking the help of a pathetic human.
He tried to wrench himself off the metallic locks by force but it didn’t work no matter how he tried, he even tried to use his mental control skill on the masked person but that failed as well, he wasn’t surprised since the man was masked.
Days passed as the man tried in vain to persuade him and eventually, a lady started to follow behind him, she was always quiet as the man tried to persuade Ushar but again, his words fell on deaf ears.
An uncertain amount of time passed and Ushar was getting restless with each passing day, he wanted blood, he wanted to leave this confinement in which he had been put in by pesky humans but it seems the only way to do this was to bend to their will. Ushar however was a prince, he had never bent to the will of another vampire, not to mention a mere human which was his food.
“Masked bastard, are you finally here to give up your wretched life? Your death will be swift, I promise.” Ushar spoke with a maniacal grin on his face but he could not see the mask man’s expression, the lady behind him however gave a tired sigh while glancing at the masked man with a questioning gaze.
“You need help boy and I can help you but not like this, you are holding unto some self destructing wrath and you have to let it go if your soul is to be saved.” The masked person and Ushar barred his fangs as he reared up with all the veins in his body bulging from anger, his face was red as he just wished he could get a hold on the masked bastard, suck him dry and rip his head of his body.
“Sigh… you are near the brink boy, trust me, if you transform into that monster form of yours a few more time, you will be stuck like that forever until someone manages to take your head and save you from that eternal madness.” The masked man said before turning back and leaving.
“Bastard! Why hide behind a mask? Why lock me up? Come here and speak to my face if you are really certain you can help me!” Ushar shouted but the mask man continued walking out of the other room but unlike before, the lady who usually followed him did not leave with him, instead, she remained in the other room looking through the glass at Ushar who slowly turned towards her before quickly looking away as he shouted, “leave!”
This lady reminded him of his mother, she reminded him of the pain he felt while holding her and she also reminded him of the shameful fact that his mother was a weak human.
“Didn’t you hear what I said, leave!” He shouted again and the lady shook her head before speaking.
“It’s been almost a year since you were rescued by Boss in the ice. We weren’t sure how long you have spent there but in there, you lie unconscious for almost a month and all that time, I took care of you as best as I could because boss wanted me to…” The lady stopped for a moment with a frown on her face, “But what did you do when you woke up? You went wild, destroying everything and even broke the wall that had securely kept you safe while you were lying almost dead on our bed. We barely managed to restrain you back and since then Boss always come here first thing in the morning for ten straight months to try make you understand your situation but what do you still do? You scream and you shout at him… you shout at us like we are some evil guys. Tell me, did Boss did the wrong thing by seeing you frozen in ice and bringing you here to safety? Have I been doing the wrong thing by nursing you back to health all this while?” Linda asked and silence followed for some moments.
Ushar stared into the ceiling above with a hard face but inside, he was thinking to his actions and wondering if they were really right. If the humans indeed rescued and helped him as this lady had claimed, had all his actions really been right?
Again however, the very fact that a human had rescued and helped him was a great blow to his ego. He had to make this humans realize that they weren’t doing him any favor, they couldn’t because they were low lives.
Even if they didn’t rescue him, he only needed time and eventually his body would be fully healed and all this wouldn’t have been happening, this is their fault.
“I feel you have many things you want to say but you aren’t saying them, it is okay, after all we are still strangers so why don’t we start with our names.” The lady said with smile and added, “I am Linda, what do I call you?”
Ushar closed his eyes for sometimes before slowly turning towards the lady and now, his eyes were entirely black as he spoke, “Leave.”
The woman face turned dazed for a moment before she nodded and turned away, leaving the place.

HEALERS OF THE DEMON WORLD
In the hall, Ushar could see many female demons with their back towards the hall entrance. In front of each of them, a table with several tools on them could be seen as well as a blue flame source which faintly lit up the interior of the hall casting a bluish glow on everything.“Thanks for bringing him back Erin, now join your colleagues.” A woman’s voice suddenly rang out from the other entrance which led into the interior of the hall of the hall and there, he could see a familiar face, Sola.Sola however seems to be ignoring Ushar with her gaze fixed unto the she-demon who had brought in Ushar. The timid she-demon had her head bowed as she rushed towards the last table in line which previously had no one in front of it and now she was the last person in line.Slowly, Sola walked towards the first she-demon, looking at all the tools in front of her for a moment before speaking, “what do you think about the flame.” She asked and the she-demon in front of her stared at the gently sway
SHAMAN'S HOLD
“The Shaman’s pet.” Ushar repeated before walking over to a rock outcrop below the aerial path and sitting with his back against it. The Shaman whom Gud was referring to, he was quite sure it was Sola the she-demon as he faintly remembered hearing Lugar called her something like that as well but being called someone’s pet was a novel kind of language which Ushar had never once imagined in his life could be used for him.He was a prince, the son of a king even if the kingdom was now destroyed. He was once a creature that struck terror into the mind of everyone that really knew who he was but now, he was being called a pet.Ushar gave a lengthy chuckle before slowly quieting. The blood kingdom, he had tried his best to save it but he was quite sure he failed, the Dragon must have failed to find him and eventually went back for the Vampires, or maybe he did and the Dragon was actually sent into some other strange worlds as well. But again, he remembered his nightmare in the dungeon, it h
ESCAPE
Outside the large hall, Ushar could be seen hurdled under the aerial path which he had been led to the Lugar’s palace sometimes ago.“Damn, did I really manage to evade those guards?” Ushar thought in wonder as stayed in place to note their reactions before he suddenly heard one spoke.“Hey, I think I heard something moved just now.”“Well, you are not deaf and there are hundreds of demons moving around.”“Damn, I am not even trying to play here Weah, I heard something moved by my sidejust now and judging by the vibrations, it is probably very little or very nimble.”“Sigh… okay, so what is it?”“Well, I didn’t see it you know, just heard it so I don’t really know what it is.”“You didn’t see it, it is nothing then.”“What about a bet?”“Very welcomed.”“Great. I find that rat and you get to represent me atmy next night, but if I don’t, I get to represent you at yours.”“Seriously Gud!”“Yes Weah, seriously.”“Does this bunch really know any other thing than bets?” Ushar muttered with
DREADFUL JOB
“So, how do you feel?” Ushar heard Sola asked after taking a sip from the dark liquid in the pot.[Demonic energy has been detected in user’s body][Gene upgrade can now be activated]“Hey, can you even hear me.”“Ah, yeah I can and uh… I don’t think the portion has any effect on me.” Ushar hurriedly spoke and silence followed for a moment.“You don’t think?” Sola eventually asked, breaking the silence.“Err…what was it supposed to do?” Ushar asked with unsure face.“True, why didn’t I think of that?” Sola said with a thoughtful face before adding, “It is supposed to heal actually, it is supposed to heal any wound on spot.” She stated and Ushar face slowly turned grim.“Is it, we might need to find some wounded Demon then.” He quickly suggested.“But you are my test subject not some wounded Demon, why don’t you find another method, involving you.” Sola replied and Ushar face hardened.“So I really have to stab myself or what?” He asked with a deep furrow on his face, even though he wa
NOTE SO IDLE
After giving her reply, Ushar watched Sola concentrate on whatever she was doing. Out of the several vessels in the place, she picked one large enough to hold a growing teenager and then walked back to the pool scooping the crimson liquid in it with the vessel in her hand.Staring intently into the vessel, Sola muttered some words before looking around the blue flames which formed a perimeter around them both.“Why is she looking for so long, there doesn’t seem to be any difference between those flames?” Ushar muttered in wonder and just then, Sola walked towards a flame to her side. Unlike the other flames however, this one wasn’t swaying.“Interesting…” Ushar thought as he watched Sola’s hand around the vessel started to glow bright blue light and then she lifted the vessel over the blue flame.Slowly the flame burnt brighter spreading to the sides of the vessel and Ushar cringed, that was flame! Did the she-demon not fear being burnt?Seemingly to have forgotten about his presence
EMPLOYED TO DO NOTHING
“Follow you.” Ushar repeated with slight thinned face before springing into his feet and following after the Demon. This time however, the she-demon had not turned towards the path which they had taken when leaving for the Demon Lord’s palace but another path which seems to lead into a more inward area in the place.Soon, they reached a group of stairs and staring up the platform which the stairs led unto, Ushar noticed a circumference of bluish flames dancing over the platform.“Beautiful?” He thought, quite fascinated but for some reason, the bluish flames did not seems to exude light and make the things around them more visible as they should have done, instead, they seems to cast some veils over everything else on the platform. Still marveling about this phenomenon, Ushar climbed unto the platform.Grrr…Ushar flinched on hearing the close beastly snarl as turned towards the source to see a large crocodile like monster but one with greatly developed limbs. It had a disproportionate
