JOINING THE SEER MECENARY

In his room, Ushar sat up the side of his bed but he wasn’t the only person in the room, standing opposite him was Linda and Boss.

“So… All you needed was a good beating to agree that you need our help.” Linda spoke staring at Ushar whose head was bowed towards the ground with his long hair scattered all over his head. When he woke up and remembered all that had happened, he was in great denial, he could not believe in had been defeated by humans and for many days, he wallowed in shame and despair but the lady called Linda never ceased to visit him and eventually, he decided to have a talk with Boss and the result of their discuss would determine if he could work with him or fight to death.

Now however, this lady was beginning to get on his nerve as he replied coldly, “I don’t need your help human… your Boss needs my help.” Ushar spoke without lifting his face and Linda glanced at the boss who was standing to a side.

You wouldn’t follow me all the way here just to let me go after. Are you waiting for me to turn my back so you can release your bullet?” The girl questioned looking at Ushar suspiciously.“Well, as absurd and stupid as it might sound, I am really letting you go, or… do you want to spend more time with me?” Ushar asked as a mischievous smile emerged on his face.The girl’s face turned confused for a moment but her eyes quickly regained their usual coldness, slowly she retreated from him and when she reached beside her car she paused. “It doesn’t matter why you let me go but… thanks and just so you know, I am not an innocent lady, I have killed many bastards like you who came after me.” She said, before getting into her truck.“Bastards like me.     Under a bright morning on a busy street, a person in a black hoodie could be seen exiting a mall.She had a tall figure with her chin held high. Her eyes were obscured by the bucket hat on her head and on her hands, a pair of gloves was worn. She also wore cargo pants with a pair of sneakers and everyone around could not help throw her strange gazes, especially at the fact that every single clothing item on her body were pure black, not a single hint of any other colour.The girl reached a black compact truck beside which she paused before looking all around, her gaze lingered slightly on a gorgeous silver car parked at a distance, but she soon looked away before getting into the truck and soon it revved to life, speeding off.…In the silver car, Ushar sat studying his target.“Did she notice me?” He muttered, looking on at the departing pickup with thinned gaze.“She is leaving boy.” The Boss’s voice suddenly spoke in his ears and Ushar’s eyes widen. “Did I just phase off?” He thoug

Oddly, every single piece of clothing on her body was black.“Now that looks like someone who means business, is she some runaway government agent or a notorious criminal?” Ushar asked, studying the figure.
