Prologue
Ever wondered why people told you not to meddle or get invovle with things you do not understand? The sayings do not touch that. Stay away from this. Ever wondered where all the beliefs and thing you should not do during a funeral start? And why are the elderly so persistent with you following it? There is a reason why we are told to stay away from things we are not sure of or can not be explained by science. It plays with our logic. Our brains only have a simple certain things it can understand. There are only a few things it can accept specially when it comes to illogical aspects but before us. Our brains try hard to try and make sense of what is happening, if it can't it glitches like a computer. Deletes that memory of the event that cannot be fully processed by our brains. Same goes with the spiritual aspect. We have faith, right?. What says that there is nothing behind the veil separating the dead from the living? Is the slight shiver you feel out of now

Chapter 1
I would have began with... It began on a dark stormy night; the winds howling, the lightning outline so evident it seemed to to draw on the sky, the thunder roaring overhead. With a hair-raising, bone chilling whispering echoing through the dark hallway. An ominous chill running down my spine as I walked down the stairway. The light flickering above me as I hear my footfalls echo. But since this is a true story, I shall begin how it truly began. It was a sunny, hot afternoon on July 31,2018. We were in our 3rd year of high school, our classes had only begun a month ago and our first school event had just finished along with our first quarter examinations. "Class dismissed." Our adviser ,Miss Rafendon, said. "You can only get your phones by row. Mister Elijiah and Mister Ivo, Please stay you both are cleaning as it seems both of you are so eager to leave the classroom." I got my phone afterward then said good bye to our advi

Chapter 2
August 1, 2018 The night after that little board game we had. Made me feel more uncomfortable at home. Maybe it was because my parent's were getting on my nerves again because the reason they were getting mad at me seemed to be unreason for them to reprimand me. I mean, who gets mad at someone just because they didn't hear a response. To me, it wasn't my fault if they didn't hear my response and me answering they're question was not me being disrespectful.Or maybe it was because when ever I was alone downstairs, around 10 pm I felt as though someone was watching me. The reflection on our television creeped me out a bit because at first it looked like I wasn't alone. Until I blinked, and there I was standing alone. It could have been because I watch a horror movie when I got home since it was playing on the TV that when I closed the lights downstairs and walked up. It gave me this earie feeling as if something was going to come out of the shadows and drag

Chapter 3
The next day I came to school early, since I had another fight with my parents. I didn't get another ounce of sleep, to preoccupied with my nightmares that I can't remember anymore but I just know they were scary. Around 6 am, I was already at the school. No one else was around except the janitors and a few students that needed to travel earlier than the rest since their houses were far. I made my way towards our spot where we use the board, not really sitting on the ground where we used it yesterday at lunch time. But simply stared into the pool, watching as the wind blew unto the pool creating hypnotizing ripples. There seemed to be what seems like a indistinctive whispering, that I try hard to understand. Whispers, that were in tongues I felt as they were pulling into a gravitanional imaginary hole. Pulling me deeper into its depths. "Huh?" I asked as I was pulled away from my trance when someone tapped my shoulder turning to see Nicole and saw

Chapter 4
To be honest this was probably the most interesting school year we... Or maybe I. Ever had, it's not everyday you get to talk to the dead. Though as we continued to fall deeper into this addiction of summoning the dead every lunch. The more darker our lives have been.Well, in my opinion my life had just turned darker than ever. It's been two weeks since we started using the board, I've already got used to Angela's soul shifting thing… that happens every day. Sometimes it’s Clyde, or Secret, or Kevin… Kevin is kind of a little jerk, no offense to him. Or maybe I am being bias since I like Clyde more. Anyways, Clyde’s the smartest among them plus has the best penmanship, still different from Angela’s penmanship but still beautiful in my eyes. Secret comes out every now and then just to ask for sweets from me.In those two weeks, the rift between me and my family just grew. We are always angry lately, always on the brink of our limits. I h

Chapter 5
"Maybe we should stop for a while." I told Abigail and Angela on monday morning before the flag ceremony . "I mean during wednesday's and I think we should eat early now. We can't let the bell ring while we are still eating.""Why is that? 'Cause Exam's are near?" Abigail asked as we exited the canteen walking unto the quadrangle."No... I... had a vision..." I said looking around to make sure no one else was listening as for we would looked like a bunch of crazy teens who believed in ghost and visions of such."Okay so, in this vision... all I know is that we'll end up playing the board, then we'll get caught by the bell. Its during either recess or lunch. Afterwards we were to eat at the student lounge... then something bad happens... Gold eyes, something about someone getting..." I leaned into them and whispered. "Possessed.""What do you call her case then." Abigail said who pointed at Angela, who was now Secret again."Secret, I'll buy you can

Chapter 6
I got back home with the feeling of distress and my mind flying off to some place. I was actually so out of out of it I didn’t realize them talking to me. “We can walk Theodora to her house.” Was what I heard them say. Which brought me back to reality. We were sitting by the bleachers by the gym. “Huh? Why?” I asked them. Honestly speaking, my thoughts were flying else were probably on an unknown plane or somewhere in outer space. “Just to you know… kill time.” Nicole said while standing up. “We’ll we have nothing to do due to your vision, so why not let us walk you home instead.” “I can’t come with you guys. I am going to get fetched by my grandmother along with my younger brother.” Nathalie said while making a gesture towards her brother who was in 4th grade. “It’s fine, actually you guys don’t need to do that.” I said standing up fixing the straps of my backpack. “My house is far from here plus I am going to walk.”

Chapter 7
Did I sleep peacefully that night? No, Did I have nightmares of what happened? No.Did I have a confusing night? Yes.I fell as asleep around 1 am, after reading a lot of creepy pasta. You think, the current horrors of my day to day life could have stopped me from reading those? Wrong.Do I like Horror? No, No I don’t. I am scared of ghost, witches and anything of the supernatural. Then why did you play with the board? Does a board with a symbol, numbers and a few letters look scary compared to a bloody person? No, it doesn’t. It looks innocuous as a matter of fact. How on earth was I suppose to know a board that can be ripped to shreds could do this?!Or maybe that’s just my mental health going down the drain. Anyways that night I woke up around 3 am. I left my phone open playing ballads to drown off the noise of the knocking by the window. Though when I woke up, my phone was playing an unfamiliar song. It was a song I h

Chapter 8
'You need to get laid.' Was what Anika first said to me the moment I woke up. Why the hell does a ghost want to get laid.'I can hear your thoughts, just so you know.' She said again which made me sigh in response.'Just because I am dead doesn't mean I don't miss the feeling of Sex, okay.''Please, stop.' I said while holding my head wanting to get the thoughts out of my head. 'I don't wanna get pregnant at 15, okay? Staying alive alone is hard enough for me, how much more of taking care of a child.''You don't get pregnant if you know what to do.' She said as I pulled on my one piece swimwear. 'Wait, wait, why are you putting a shirt on top of this? You are ruining it.''It's not ruining it, it's called being ready for swim
