" You should stop that, it's not like I bite. That is unless you get on my wrong side." Tyson said, eyeing the man sitting on the chair across him.

After leaving the general manager with Instructions of get rid of Mr Richard, he walked straight to the general manager's office.

Dean smiled nervously, he was really scared of the man sitting on the chair like a king.

" Mr chairman, my apologies for not receiving you earlier." Dean finally managed to say.

Although scared, he knew that the man before him would not do anything to him, at least for now.

" It's no problem, I didn't want anybody knowing my presence here, too bad some flies decided to ooze around." 

Actually Tyson had intended to arrive unannounced so that he could inspect the matters in the company before deciding on what next.

What he didn't expect was that a lackey would recognize him and try making things hard for him.

With the death of Mr Richard, he hoped the Carter's would get a clear message and stay away from him.

They better not cross his path anytime soon unless they want to be exterminated.

He had a lot of matters to settle at this point and the Carter family was the last in his list.. Not like he was having second thoughts on his decision but he might as well give them a grace period before their demise.

" I will make the arrangements and have the chairman's office ready for you." Dean said.

As the general manager of the brilliance Corp, it was only practical that he be the one welcoming the chairman and arranging everything for him to take office.

" No need." Tyson replied, Making Dean arch a brow at him.

" I don't intend to take over the company. I have gone through your file and although you haven't made any progress with the company, I am willing to give you a second chance. Handle all the matters concerning the company and whoever dares to challenge your position should be dismissed immediately. It doesn't matter if that person is a direct descendant of the president's family or not." Tyson paused, letting all the information sink into Dean's brain.

" Also, I want my identity kept under wraps. I chose to trust you with the company, make sure you don't abuse my trust." Tyson added a dangerous glint passing through his eyes making Dean shiver Involuntarily.

" Understood Mr chairman." Dean replied, forcing himself not to cower in front of the domineering figure before him.

" Tyson, Tyson Gray." Tyson said casually, making Dean confused.

" It's Tyson Gray for you and not chairman." Tyson replied seeing the confusion in the manager's face.

" Understood Mr Gray." Dean replied respectfully.

He didn't know why the young man was using the surname of Gray Instead of Carter but he knew better than to go poking his nose in other people's business, especially if it's about the young man who didn't bat an eyelid before ending someone's Life.

Mr Richard had been nothing but an arrogant prick in the company.

Since he was the person personally appointed by the Carter family, like he always said, to look at the matters in the company, he would throw his weight around, ordering people and doing everything possible to make things hard for Dean.

It came to a point that Dean started living in the shadows of Mr Richard.

Being the general manager, his words were treated lightly compared to Mr Richard's.

The employees would try to carry favour from Mr Richard while ignoring him.

Now that the chairman entrusted him with the company, he would try his best to work to the chairman's expectations.

" One more thing, I am aware of the funds you have embezzled in the past. This is your chance to make things right." Tyson said before standing up.

Taking one last glance at his now manager, he walked out.

Dean's heart took a leap when he heard the chairman's words.

He never thought that anybody would ever find out what he did before.

Actually, he was intending to stay in the company and leave after getting enough funds to start his own business.

As much as he had a good position in the company, he was treated like a mere secretary.

As a young man in his early thirties, that's not the kind of dream he had in life.

Being the general manager of brilliance Corp, of course his salary was good but it was nothing he could use to start up a business.

The fact that the chairman was aware of his misdeeds, that only solidified his belief of how powerful the young man was.

Someone who could get rid of a person without hesitation and treat it as swatting a fly should be someone with connections and immense power.

At that moment, Dean swore to never pocket a single cent from the company.

He would also return all the money he managed to embezzle from the company.

He didn't want to get on the bad side of the chairman.

Tyson walked to the entrance of the company before coming face to face with Patricia, Samantha's sister.

Patricia halted in her steps before looking at Tyson.

Actually she never hated Tyson nor despised him. What made her angry at him was the way he abandoned her pregnant sister and disappeared for five years.

Patricia had seen how Samantha has gone through a lot of hardships to raise Tara.

" Tyson!" She couldn't hide the surprise in her voice.

She hadn't expected to run into Tyson in a place like this.

" What are you doing here? Are you also here to look for a job?" She asked.

It would be good if Tyson was looking for a job.

That would mean he was finally going to help Samantha take care of Tara which nobody did over the past five years he disappeared.

" Patricia, what a coincidence." Tyson greeted, smiling lightly at Patricia.

" Are you looking for a job here? I saw that they are recruiting secretaries so I came to try my luck ." Patricia said excitedly, already forgetting the earlier grudge she had with the man.
