Chapter 9

"What the?"

Seth gawked as he got off the Lamborghini Veneno, and the door opened automatically. He came down with limping footsteps due to a rib injury that felt an increasingly stabbing pain.

"Ouch. My ribs hurt."

The bruises on his face and body have not disappeared. It looks blue everywhere. Seth still felt tremendous heartache-what Millie and Castor doing behind his back.

[ I can't believe it, Millie. You're too much! You're the one I'm proud of, but bear to ruin my life! ] Seth cursed hate in his heart.

Flames of anger burned his soul.

Resentment, anger, and hatred thicken.

[ If only I could get my revenge. How am I supposed to deal with that bastard Castor? Surprise, I'm alive now. ]

He stopped in a magnificent mansion, and the park looked spacious and luxurious. There is a futuristic fountain in the center.

The Lamborghini runs on its own. Leave Seth alone and go inside the garage that has a basement. The garage door was gigantic, made of steel, and opened automatically.

The cold wind blew away Seth's sweat-soaked hair. The air is cool and fresh inhaled.

"Hello?!" Seth called out to whoever lived inside the Mansion.

There's no one there. The place is isolated and closed. This luxurious Mansion stands alone on a cliff at the bottom of a vast ocean. Seth could hear the ocean waves crashing against the reef.

Seagulls roar above the sky.

[ Welcome, Seth. It is your safe house. ]

Seth jolted up in surprise at Raven's voice echoing throughout the Mansion. The luxurious main door is wide open.

"Raven?" Seth proclaimed in doubt.

[ Please, come in. ]

Seth walked in with a limp and hesitant step. He turned back in search of whoever the inhabitants of this Mansion were.

But he's alone here.

The Mansion is almost built-in silver and white with modern monochrome furniture.

Like most luxurious palaces, Seth's eyes searched the room.

"Hello?! Raven? Where are you?!" Seth called out in worried. His voice echoed throughout the room.

[ Ziiiiiiinggg. ]

Seth frowned.

The only ones who welcome Seth are a pair of vacuum robots that clean the entire floor with their sensors. The Robot moves in all directions.

The floors are clean and shiny, and everywhere there is no dust.

A small drone darted flying over Seth's head, and he squinted backward in surprise.

The box-shaped drone emits a green scanner light. Its laser light scanned Seth's entire body from the top of his head to the tips of his feet.

[ Kriiiiiiitttt ]

[ Scanner runs. ]

Seth held his breath while the scanner's laser light scanned his entire body.

"Mr. Seth Vonstein, you must be treated immediately. Your head is bleeding again, and you are in danger if your thorax trauma injury is too late. Come with me." The drones said in stiff language. "You can call me Flavio, and I am at your service, sir."

"Sir? I'm not that old." Seth refused with a chortle.

Seth did not notice the hot blood seeping from his head again.

Pressed by the urgent situation, Seth forgot all the wound killing.

Seth thinks that death will pick him up.

"Wait a minute! Where, Raven? I want to talk to him and meet him. Where's everybody going? Is there nobody here?" Seth refused to come along and shook his head firmly.

He was going nowhere once he met with Raven for a definitive explanation.

[ Welcome, Seth. From now on you will stay here. It is your home. You don't have to worry about anything. Everything you need is available automatically. You're safe as long as you're here. I'll see you later. Follow Flavio. He'll lead you to a healing machine. ] Raven said from the speaker.

Seth frowned, and he began to suspect this place. This cold and silent luxury Mansion. He was thinking in his mind. [ Is this place controlled by the system as well? ]

"Why are you talking through the speakers, Raven? Can't you see me?"

"Please, sir." Flavio hit back to convince Seth again. The robotic voice sounded stiff, and it was ridiculous. This time both small hands came out of its shiny black box body. He opens his mechanical hand and shows the way to the treatment room.

Seth's eyes widened. "You're not going to do anything to me, Are you? Stealing my internal organs for you to sell, maybe?"

Flavio's hands crossed. It is like a Danbo robot. "No. No, Sir. I have to treat your wounds. Your thorax trauma injury could be severe if not treated immediately. Come with me."

Seth sighed deeply, [ Do I have a choice? All night I almost died, and now my life is upside down chased by an evil organization that I don't know what they want?! Why are they after me? What did I do wrong? Now I'm stranded in this strange place. ]

Seth followed Flavio behind him and walked with a view circulating everywhere. The Mansion is tremendous, luxurious, majestic, and filled with technologically advanced modern items.

On each flat screen, a triangular logo swirls slowly. It forms a pyramid and divides into the letter A futuristic.

"Lamborghini Veneno. Why can it walk alone? Does this Mansion have a basement garage?" Seth asked Flavio.

Flavio paused and turned to face Seth, "I'm sorry, but you can ask Raven that question later. This way, Sir."

They stalled in front of a shiny wooden door with digital buttons. Flavio pressed a four-digit number until the door opened automatically.

"Come in, Sir," Flavio asked.

Seth sees a white room the size of his apartment equipped with medical equipment. Nursing beds, rows of flat-screen monitors, glass cupboards containing medicines, coolers that store serums, LED Rontgen viewers attached to the wall, infusion poles, and much more.

In the center are a large capsule with a glass lid on top and a bracket without a screen that makes Seth's forehead wrinkle deeply. On the left, various digital buttons could be clearer to understand.

Seth muttered in confusion. [What's the point of a hanging bracket without a flat screen? ]

Flavio approaches the capsule, and he presses a button that makes the machine turn on and emit a blue light. The glass lid opens slowly. A brief whistling of gas fumes as the shutter opened.

"Come in, Sir. Let this machine work to heal all your wounds. Take it easy. It won't hurt. Close your eyes." Flavio said and formed a line of smiles on the face of his box. "Take off your shoes. When you have metal items, it's best to keep them first, Sir."

"My bag is still in the car." Said Seth and remembering that the bag with his important things was there.

"Let it be my business, Sir. Come on, get in."

"All right," Seth responded and approached the capsule.

The capsule is like a bed. There are elongated padded pads inside. Seth roared in a drill as he climbed into the capsule. His thorax trauma injury stung like a million-volt electric shock.

Seth lay slowly, his shirt and pants full of blood.

"When you wake up, everything will return to normal, Sir. Have a good rest." Flavio told him in a friendly tone. His little robotic hand pressed a button on the side of the capsule.

The glass cover of the capsule closed again. It's a cold blue glow on Seth's body. Being inside the capsule bed did not make it difficult to breathe.

A scanner light appears from inside the capsule. Scan Seth's state from head to toe.

A transparent screen lights up above the hanging bracket.

[ Welcome, Seth C. Vonstein. ]

Advanced touch screen controlled system-exactly the same as in the glass Bugatti earlier.

The screen displays statistical analysis data throughout Seth's body with digital calibration. The system quickly worked. He recorded Seth's medical records for the rest of his life.

"Oh, so that's the point." Seth nods.

"Close your eyes, Sir," Flavio said, waving his hands. "Relax. It doesn't have to be that tense. It won't hurt you."

Seth closed his eyes. Darkness closed his rest.

He remembered nothing except the cold air hitting his entire body.
