INSCRIPTIONS PLEASURE HOUSE

After watching the carriage leave, Liuxian turned looking at the Inscriptions Pleasure House. It was nothing he had ever seen before. Unlike most pleasure house, the Inscriptions Pleasure House had the most customers. Their dancers and entertainers were the best.

Standing in front of the six storey building in front of him, Liuxian couldn't close his mouth at the massive building in front of him. Suddenly, two girls spotted him from the inside and smiled. From his clothes, they could tell he was a martial artist. Although the city was full of martial artists, not many went about in public actually wearing the clothes of martial artists.

“ Mr, you have arrived. We have been expecting you." Liuxian heard the two girls say as they held both of his arms entering inside.

“ You were expecting me? I have never been here.” Liuxian said but none of the girls listened to him.

Entering inside, Liuxian gasped as he looked around the Inscriptions Pleasure House. The place was full with people and beautiful girls danced on stage. Their soft movements and graceful dance lightened the room but what caught his attention the most was the sound of the zither being played. Although someone was also playing a lute, the sound of the zither was soft and loud.

“Wow." Liuxian said as he gazed up.

" Dear Sir, you haven't seen anything yet. Look. Our pleasure house is the best for a reason. A lot of martial artists gather here to rest and some to cultivate. Everyone is welcome here however there is one rule you must follow.” Liuxian heard one of the girls say making him turn to look at her.

“ And what is this rule? Sounds like it is very important.” Liuxian said watching as the girl walked forward letting him go.

“ There must be no fighting here. This pleasure house is considered to be the peace ground of the martial world. Look.” Liuxian heard the girl say.

Looking up, Liuxian's eyes widened as he saw people used their Qinggong to fly up to their room. The levels of the building seemed endless as he looked up at them.

“ This place is truly a wonder to behold. Have two liquor bottles sent to my room please.” Liuxian said smiling mischeviously.

Minutes later, Liuxian entered the room he had been assigned to. Inscriptions Pleasure House not only had the most beautiful ladies but it had the best designs too. Catching glimpse of something, Liuxian walked over to the wall where he saw a drawing on the wall. It was a drawing of a panda holding a bamboo stick. Stretching his hand forward, Liuxian didn't waste time touching it. The drawing had been drawn on the wall yet it felt so real. The Inscriptions Pleasure House had bedrooms and rooms for cultivation.

Strangely, there seemed to be enough energy running around in the cultivation room. A tortoise, a tiger, a pander and a phoenix.

“ Wow. Who would have thought that there are divine animals inscribed into the walls too? A dragon?” Liuxian asked as he looked at the drawing of a long green dragon on the roof.

Meanwhile, one of the girls in the pleasure house had been playing the lute when Liuxian entered. He had been the only one wearing a martial artist uniform so she knew that he was new to the city. Looking at Liuxian, something else caught her eye. It was the green jade pendant swinging from his waist. Watching as Liuxian went up to his room, she waited calmly smiling at the crowd in front of her until she was sure he had left. After he had gone, she used her powers disappearing from her seat.

Appearing in a dark room, the girl knelt down immediately crossing her two arms in front of her.

“ Master, I don't know if I am mistaken however, I just saw something.” The girl said bowing her head.

“Are you sure about what you saw? You have to really be sure." The girl heard her master say making her nod her head reassuringly.

Back in his cultivation room, Liuxian had already started cultivating. His energy had become much powerful since the last time. But his progress was too slow. Maybe it was because all the tasks he had been given had always been so hard. Just where was he supposed to find the Liquor of Resurrection from?

Just then, Liuxian heard the door open breaking his concentration. He had been getting ready to talk to the other girl he had met before when he stopped.

“ Hello Sir. You are a new guest therefore I came to see you. Here in our Inscriptions Pleasure House, we value our customers very well. If it's alright, may I ask where you are from?” Liuxian heard a young woman ask.

Her fair skin shined even in the dark room making her shine. She was just like a goddess.

“Miss, what is your name?" Liuxian asked stunned by the woman in front of him.

“Pan Yawen. And you must be?” Liuxian heard the girl ask.

“Liuxian. I am a normal martial artist traveling the world." Liuxian said smiling.

But Yawen's eyes were fixed on Liuxian's jade pendant even though she didn't say anything. The green jade pendant looked very familiar to her.

“Okay. We will leave you then. Our cultivation rooms always have the best Feng shui so you can cultivate well. I also brought the liquor you wanted.” Yawen said as she signaled to the girl behind her who brought the liquor inside.

Watching Yawen, Liuxian remained stunned till she left. It was as if he had just encountered a beautiful deity. And unlike most girls that would dress up in the finest long dresses, Yawen was dressed in a martial artist uniform which had instantly made her catch his attention. Shaking his head, Liuxian sat down crossing his legs. He had no idea why he had been told to come but since he was here, he was going to cultivate.

He wanted to quickly break free and level up to Qi Path Refinement but few minutes later, Liuxian opened his eyes suddenly coughing out blood. He had been trying to level up for hours and his eagerness had caused him to hurt himself. Cleaning his mouth, Liuxian looked around realizing he was still alone. Standing up weakly, Liuxian opened the door only to see Yawen standing outside.

“What are you doing….” Yawen turned Liuxian around until his back was facing her. Using her energy, Yawen tried to heal Liuxian.

“Look at you. Running faster than everyone doesn't necessarily mean you might end up reaching the top before everyone. One must be calm and patient when dealing with certain things.” Yawen said as she healed Liuxian.

His eyes were closed but he could still hear her. Her qi was also different from the others he had seen before. It was soft and subtle yet it seemed powerful. After Yawen was sure she had cured him, she let go of him helping to a corner where he sat to try control and control his qi once more. His qi had deviated after he had tried to rush things up and that had been what made him cough blood.

“Thank you. You have been of great help to me. When I come back to the city, I'll definitely come and see you and thank you in a better way." Liuxian said as he got ready to leave the pleasure house.

“No need to bring me anything. I do not want anything at all. Our pleasure house always lends a helping hand to everyone. We do not ask anyone to pay us back." Liuxian heard Yawen say and suddenly, she walked away leaving him.

Turning back, Liuxian walked out of the pleasure house heading back to Enchanting Void. He had already fulfilled one task by getting to the Inscriptions Pleasure House. If only he could make it back before 6, he would be completely another one. Then the only tasks that would be remain would be

[Looking for the Liquor of Resurrection]

[Bowing down 500 times]

Although he had been bowing down earlier like a fool, he had managed to complete 30 bows. Did the bow have to be in front of people? Looking at the bottles of liquor in his hand, Liuxian sighed knowing that he was to need it in the future.

Finally getting near the gate, Liuxian slowed down . He had to enter without getting caught. Earlier the gate had been so guarded that he had been sure he wouldn't make it out. Looking at the forcefield that covered Enchanting Void, Liuxian saw it was yransparent. Outsiders would never be able to see the forcefield unless they came close to it. The impact of the forcefield was brutal. How was he going to manage to get inside?

Remembering the fact that Peng Chen had been able to enter, Liuxian unconsciously looked for the green jade pendant Peng Chen had given him. Touching his body, Liuxian searched everywhere but couldn't find it.

“I forgot it! Liuxian, Liuxian, you are really an idiot." Liuxian said as he lamented sitting on the ground.

He had no way to enter inside without getting caught. And if he was actually caught, he would actually get expelled. His father's hopes and dreams would be destroyed immediately.

Shaking his head, Liuxian became determined to enter inside. Opening one of the liquor bottles, Liuxian drank from it in a hurry closing his eyes. The bitter taste flooded his mouth but he was able to enter the other world. Finding himself on the same level, Liuxian didn't bother to keep standing and went to the library he had seen before. All the books looked very important and powerful. He just had to find a way to pass through the forcefield without alerting anyone.

“ I need a book about forcefields." Liuxian shouted into the empty space.

Suddenly, one of the books on the library started moving. Stopping in front of it, the book opened making Liuxian gasp in shock.

“It really did answer me. This is it. The forcefield covering Enchanting Void. Binding force. Impossible to pass through because all the forces that make the forcefield is closing binded. How do I get through?” Liuxian asked as he continued to flip over the pages reading.

Finally he found a method. It was one he had never heard of before but the book had instructions. Letting go of the book, Liuxian stood on the platform practicing what he was seeing in the book.

[The dissolving method. Dissolve your shape and became one with your qi. Then you would be able to pass. This method showed that everything in life had a shapeless form.]

Liuxian did exactly as he had he had seen. Channelling all his powers to his two hands, Liuxian gathered enough powers before closing his hands suddenly. This was to get his powers to dissolve his shape and become one with it. But he had been injured before. He had to be extremely careful not to move his qi down the wrong path and cause him to gain another injury.

Suddenly, Liuxian coughed out blood once more. His blood spattered across the ground and Liuxian fell to the ground. Was he dying? Many martial artists had died because of heavy injuries. Feeling weak, Liuxian was about to faint when he found himself sitting up. As if someone was behind him, Liuxian didn't know if it was a dream or not but, he had been healed.

Waking up a few hours later, Liuxian got to his feet looking around anxiously. He knew he was supposed to get back before 6. Looking at the sky, Liuxian sighed as he saw it was still early hours of the morning.

He still had time remaining. Closing his eyes, Liuxian did as he had done before. Succeeding in it, Liuxian turned into a big ball of energy passing through the forcefield.
