The contact earned Velicia a soft gasp from Merlin. He staggered from the impact like what happened to Velicia, both their asses on the floor with a book and a fluttering single butterfly in front of them.

“What a beautiful pair of eyes,” Velicia mumbled to herself the other party clearly heard just by looking at his embarrassed face as he stared at her with equal wonder.

But after uttering such words, her eyes widened upon realizing that she spoke out of her readied script.

‘Well, is it my fault that his eyes are like embers of flame trapped inside a silver lining of glowing gem? Definitely not my fault. But still, Cielo’s bright blue eyes and onyx eyes are the best.’

With a flushed face, Velicia shifted her attention onto the floor where her butterfly was now lying still—dead as she intended. An exhilarated gasp escaped from her thin lips, her dainty hands covering her mouth to complete the package of her acting.
