248 - THE TRIGGER

The sloth grabbed Kira by the hair and lifted her up and smiled wickedly. As it was thinking on how to kill Kira, something struck its head so hard, its head moved forward, and it ended up kissing the whole face of Kira.

Kira felt utterly revolted by that.

The sloth tossed Kira aside, and touched the back of its head and groaned.

“How did that feel?” Edgar’s right fist was shrouded with lightning. “No matter how tough you’re, hits to the head will still hurt.”

Like he said, the sloth looked a little shaken as it felt the attack jolt its brain and whole body, but it didn’t look weakened like Kira had.

In fact, the whites of its eyes began to turn red as excess blood flooded. “Wrraahh!” it roared. A throaty roar so loud, it made Fabby shut her ears. Edgar, however, was better able to bear it.

“Here I come,” he turned into a blur and appeared at the seven o’clock of the beast and struck the beast at the kidney, mimicking what Kira had done a minute ago. “Heavy Cannon Bolt!” a tremendous
