I got to my family home at sunset, outside the compound I parked my vehicle.
I held my weapons at the ready, my machete in my right hand, MP5 strapped to my back and loaded. Softly I shut the driver's door, and made a run for it to where there was cover. Through the holes inside the fence I scouted inside the compound, I gathered all the Intel needed, 1...2...8....10....15....20 demons barely 4ft. All of them were trying their best to break into our home. "Hmmm, I sighed, it's going to be hard, but I must protect my family at all cost." I dashed towards the back of the house around the fence with haste, with ease I pulled myself up the fence and with grace I landed softly. Suddenly a loud sound exploded again "Boom!" I gazed at the sky, it was the veil... Cracks spread across like spiderwebs. Deep within my soul I knew that something or somethings are trying to come through once that veil falls completely apart. This little demons are just the new born babies compared to the adults. The world is about to experience hell thousands of time's more than what we are currently seeing. Lost in thoughts and fear, I heard approaching footsteps, immediately I hid behind an old tank, three demons were approaching, dark eyes, teeth like that of a shark, body like a full grown adult, head like that of a child. In their hands was an unusual long sword. They've tried going through the front door, and so far my brothers have defended it well. Now they want to go behind. "Smart creatures, I smiled." The first demon passed me without knowing, Cleanly I chopped it's head off with my machete. "Thud, the body dropped to the ground, dark blood as thick as gum gushed out without control." Second demon sneered while approaching me, it swung Its blade towards my chest at an incredible speed, I barely blocked against the attack with my machete as I was sent flying. I crashed into the tank. My hands numb from the sheer force. "The smell of my own blood filled my nose. My vision blurred, and every sound echoed painfully in my skull" for something so small they packed very destructive strength and speed." *Get out of there, my brother shouted at me.* I rolled away immediately escaping the creature's blade as it swung downwards at me without warning. Swiftly I took out both the creature's hands with my machete. "It roared loudly at me." Roaring won't be enough to survive this killing blow "bitch." I lunged forward, my blade finding its throat. THUD. It dropped dead to the ground. The third demon came at me, at close range it opened up its mouth, fire poured out burning my face slightly. "Bam, my stomach got hit with its fist, I screamed out in pain while falling down to my knees." It lifted me up by the throat, I felt my neck tearing apart. The heat it's body radiated slowly burnt my skin. I struggled and struggled while it's mouth opened up widely, "As my vision spotted, my free hand scrambled at my hip... my fingers found the grip of the MP5." I shot and shot, until there was no bullet left. I fell to the ground, the demon dropped on top my body. "Ahhhh, I took deep breaths, as I pushed the creature's body away." Brother are you alright? Jubi asked while watching me through the window as I stood to my feet." Yeah am alright... Barely... Am going to drive those demons away just keep doing what you have been doing. And what is that? Jubi asked. Don't let anyone of them in... "I stood to my feet, every muscle screaming, my throat a ring of fire. But the job wasn't done." I picked my machete, loaded my gun and moved. I scanned the entire surrounding from the backyard, five patrolled the center of the compound, five stood watch at the gate entrance, the other seven were still trying their all to get into the house. I picked two grenade, unclipped both and threw. One to the gate, the other at the house side. Not all would die from the blast but the chaos will let me finish off the rest without fighting for my life like before. The explosion took out the ones at the gate and few at the house side. The ones at the center scattered around to help their comrades, I allowed the smoke to mask every open spot. I dashed forward towards the gate, the demon in front of me wasn't looking, my machete went through its neck, it's head rolled to the ground. I spotted another heading towards the backyard, my legs moved without question, without hesitation, I tore opened it's head, it dropped dead to the ground. I turned to move, then I paused. "Multiple footsteps were getting close to me, I could sense their bloodlust, though the smoke made it hard to pinpoint their location, so I shot at every direction with my gun. "Thud...thud...thud..thud...thud.." One by one all dropped dead to the ground. The rest suddenly ran away without looking back. The dust slowly cleared out, bodies of dead demons laid almost everywhere the eye could see. I sighed in relief, though the air reeked of demon blood and stench. My machete was useless now although it helped me, it could not withstand the heat and sturdy body of the demons. I buried it and thanked it, then I picked up one of the demon's long sword, it was like a katana but straight, and wide, and both sides were evenly sharp. I tested it and it was to my liking, I wrapped it up with thick clothing I found on the ground, wasn't long my siblings and people I don't know came out with smile's on their faces, "Prosper my sister" was the first to embrace me. "Thank God your alive, she said with tears in her eyes." The second girl came next with a bigger hug and more tears. No words just warmth. My two brothers welcomed me cheerfully, so did the rest. While they were rejoiced. I felt something off, the air reeked of death. Maybe it was the night that was coming. Everyone Inside now! They didn't argue they just nodded and we all went in.Latest Chapter
Demon Blade Awakening
"Bom-bom-bom-bom...." Eat this, mothefuckers, praise rotated his mounted machine gun to the left—the thick, long bullets tore through the demon army. One after the other they fell. "Thud."The air consumed by the smell of demon blood. "BOOM-BOOM." Jubi and John continued their relentless bombing with their rocket launchers. They fired high across the bridge, the explosion destroying the flesh and bones of the demons.Williams back me up! I raised my voice, I dashed deeper into the demon army. I was immediately surrounded by multiple demons on all sides. "Arghh." Their voices low, filled with ancient hatred and uncontrollable appetite for human blood and flesh. They moved towards me with incredible speed, the air screaming out as they ran towards me. "Bom-bom-bom-bom." Don't worry about the ones at your back brother, Williams yelled out. Instantly he took out every demon coming from my blind side. I nodded. I moved again, cutting down every one of them that stood in my way. Above a
Hold The Bridge
"Why are we heading towards the bridge, brother?" Jubi asked. "Wouldn’t it be a disadvantage for us? We might end up surrounded by demons.""After I defeated that demon, I gained some intel from it," I explained. "Half the city has already been taken over by demons. We’re currently in the half they control.""So we cross the bridge, then wait for them to come to us—is that the plan?" Williams asked, his fingers firmly wrapped around the machine gun."That’s it," I replied. "But we’ll need to make sure there’s only one path between us and them." My eyes caught a glimpse of the bridge in the distance."Bam-bam-bam." Praise hit the car’s body three times. "I can see the bridge up ahead, guys!""Yeah, I’m beginning to see it too!" John added."Now we’re approaching the bridge, brother. What’s the plan?" Williams asked."We’re going to destroy every lane except one," I said, my knuckles whitening on the steering wheel. "We’ll be on the other side to make sure none of them cross over. You g
Nation Wide Ritual
“Wait—what?” I said, looking from one face to another. “You’re telling me a demon saved you guys?”“That’s the truth, brother,” Williams answered. “While you were busy fighting that mad demon outside, we had no clue what was waiting for us inside the office building. Low-level demons were hiding in there.”“Yeah,” Praise added. “The ladies ran into them first and got captured.”Jubi stretched his arms and sighed. “We didn’t know what was happening. We just ran inside like fools—no plan, no idea. They overpowered us fast.”“But trust me, we didn’t go down easy,” Praise said with a small smile. “We killed seven or ten of them before they took us as prisoners.”Dora stood with one hand on her waist. “Honestly, we thought we were finished. But they didn’t kill us right away, so we kept hoping someone would come. Never in a million years did we think a demon would be the one to save us.”I rubbed the back of my neck and let out a long breath. “I don’t fully understand what’s going on here,
Saved By A Demon
"Ahhh..." I groaned as my eyes slowly opened. A chilling cold pressed against my back and seeped into my bones. Sticky, warm demon blood clung to my skin.I pushed myself up carefully, legs wobbling like a newborn’s. My vision blurred as I turned to my right. There lay the demon’s corpse. I clutched my head with both hands; loud, pounding sounds echoed inside my skull. It felt like my head was about to split open.Slowly, I took one shaky step after another. “Fuck! What happened?” I muttered, collapsing onto a nearby chair.I remembered fighting the demon. I was losing… but somehow, I had won. “Ahhh…” Why did my head hurt so much? I glanced back at the demon’s body. *Now I see.* I had eaten its flesh. I guess I only did it to protect my family.“Wait—my family!” My eyes widened. *Fuck… Please, you guys should be alright.*I shot to my feet and immediately regretted it. My skull pulsed like a second heart—every heartbeat drove fresh spikes of pain behind my eyes. Spit slipped from my
Thank You, Human
That very day, the demon crawled across the cold steel floor like a broken animal. It choked on its own thick, dark blood with every breath — wet, ragged, and painful.“I should have killed you,” it hissed. “I never should have let you escape.”I didn’t reply immediately. I simply walked toward it, my sword scraping along the metal ground, the sound echoing like a never-ending scream.“Well,” I said finally, “we can’t go back and change the past, can we?”“Damn you… Chris,” the demon cursed. Its voice was low and cracking, almost gone.I swung my blade swiftly. *Swoosh.* Both of its hands flew off and landed with a wet smack on the floor. Black blood sprayed across the steel in ugly patterns. The demon laughed even as it coughed up more blood. I flipped it over with my boot so it lay on its back, staring up at the ceiling.“Why do you pity me, demon?” I asked, standing where its right eye could see me. Those red eyes were growing weaker, fading. It coughed again — a nasty, rattling so
Dark Flames
I coughed hard. Blood spilling from my mouth. For a demon so fat and big, it's more flexible and faster than it seems—I thought to myself. My ribs sent waves of pain into my head, my back hurt like hell—vision blurry. "Now... Do you remember me, Chris?" The demon asked, its voice sounded like a young lady I knew—a wicked smile spread across his face."Now... I do," I grunted slowly I stood to my feet. I remember that disgusting skin, that annoying smile—that ugly body... It's going to fall before my blade. "Wow—" am honored by those touching words of yours, at least now when you die—you will know who was responsible. You have it all wrong bastard—slowly I picked my sword with my right hand, I'm going to end your pathetic life. Here and now! I swung my blade around."Bring it!" The demon advanced with a burst of speed. We both met at the center of the base. His claw came down on me, I met it head on with sword. He tried to grab me with his left hand, I ducked. "Arghhhh," it roared af
