"What are you doing, Jack? Who are these men? Are you trying to trap me inside this place? For what sake!?"

Vivianne fired despite sensing the trouble, her tone a mix of arrogance and anger.

Jack let out a sharp ugly laughter that actually echoed like glass shattering. His head tilted to the side with a cruel smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"For what sake? Huh?" He snorted, closing the gap one step with her. "You think you're tough, huh? Because you're one hot b*tch?! Making me chase after you all this while like I'm a psycho. I'm done chasing, Anna. It's my turn to hunt down.." his smirk was sharper. "...of course hunt down the icy CEO and make her scream my name under me in pleasure."

The thugs burst out into laughter that echoed off the Bar wall.

"She's gonna Sob. Sob of Joy." One chuckled.

"Boss, how about sparing us one round each." Another licked his lips, already stripping Vivianne naked with his eyes.

Vivianne's heart hammered as everything came clearly now. Jack was already pulling off his watch and then his suit with a predatory glint in his eyes.

Vivianne stepped back slowly, her heart racing. She had been in a boardroom full of bloody executives, erasing them with pen and command but this was a different scenario. She was trapped in the midst of men that possibly have hidden weapons in their clothes. She started regretting coming to the date that was about to become her night mare and yet she forced herself to stand straighter, her voice slightly trembling. "Jack, if you do this, you'll regret it.". She said. "My family won't let this slide if they see a finger should scratch my skin and think about what your family will think of your actions too. You'll disgrace their name, and will lose your face everywhere." She didn't plead. Just a threat wrapped in conviction to all her escape from the unfolding nightmare.

Jack chuckled and it was the sound of something ugly. "You think I care about what people say?" He smirked. "Who is going to believe you? We came on this date together, at your own will. I might say you forced me to sleep with you, I might say you drugged me to have your way with the heir of the Monroe. No one is going to believe you and you will be ashamed to speak about it to anyone."

Vivianne's last shed to composure finally crumbled. Her heart slammed her chest so loud she could hear every blood gushing through her veins. Jack was right. He was going to use her own decision against her.

"Hey, you" Killian flicked a finger at one of the thugs. "Come pour my drink." He said nonchalantly, his back leaned back against the backrest like he hadn't heard the conversation going on in the Bar.

The Thug, tall and big with Chest built like tanker looked at him with his brow tightened in mild confusion and surprise. The entire room shifted to Killian now.

"Me? Are you speaking to me?" His voice was rough.

Killian exhaled sharply. "I don't repeat myself, bulldog." He said, keeping his conversational— he didn't shout but the room felt the insult.

The thugs exchanged stunned glances.

"Are you Crazy?!" The thug stepped forward, his eyes darkened in anger. "you filthy nobody is giving me order? You're trapped in this room with us and you still have the guts to speak?"

"He's stupid."

"He's insane."

"He has a death wish and we'll give him willingly."

Vivianne immediately understood that Killian wasn't with the men.

Killian wasn't bothered a bit. He sat there, leg crossed, his back relaxed like everything they were saying was mere noise.

"Or you tell this Mutt in Suit to serve my glass." He pointed at Jack lazily and dropped his hand to the side, " I won't repeat myself anymore."

Jack narrowed his eyes on him, his eyes going from predatory mixed with anger.

The first thug stepped forward, his boot thumping.

"You gave me Order and now you're spitting at our Boss' shoe? Not a chance!" His finger Snapped at Jack's shoe. "Go on your knee and apologize for the insult. Now!" Spit flew from his mouth.

Killian didn't move the Slightest.

Jack pushed the thug backward gently as he took the front line like he owned the room. He smirked in mock amusement.

"You talk too confident for a man I fucked his wife." He jeered. The Bar rippled with laughter. Killian responded back with a surprise calmness. "She opened her filthy hole for you, Jack Moore and you think that makes you man?" Killian shook his head. "— it only made you cheap and dirty."

The laughter slowly died down in their throat. Jack's vision tunneled on Killian, his smirk gone, his fist shaking at the side as anger slowly metamorphosized into rage.

"You're stupid!"

And so he lunged at Killian. Vivianne was Swift. She was already in his front at a considerate distance, shielding Killian at her back while spreading her arms mid-air. "Don't Vent your anger on him. I am the one you target. Not him. Let him walk away clean from this place. We can make an offer."

Killian raised his head to look at vivianne's back. Upclose, her hip was gracious, her shape perfectly carved and the tailor that made her dress made sure every bit of it took the form of the cloth.

"What.." Jack's hand went back to his side, holding a bitter and jealous laugh. Vivianne's defense didn't nothing but making his emnity deepened for Killian. "You're believed him then and now you're offering in his place? Because of his d*ck?"

Vivianne's contempt for Jack was getting deeper than it already was.

"Don't have the wrong idea, Jack." Her icy composure snapped back in place. "I won't allow you hurt an innocent man because of me!" Her confidence was unmistakable, her expression firm as steel.

Killian looked at her, surprise splitting his composure even though he could only see the side of her face.
