Chapter 26

Adrian squinted a bit, he'd never really thought that as a kid he would actually be going for an arranged marriage. He's dreamt of love and the joy that comes from making one choice out of billions out there. He in fact detests the idea of polygamy or unsafe sexual relationships. He had grown up without a father in a home where the only thing he knew was pain and suffering.

The Brooks’ actions towards him were never ones mild and they'd ended up leaving a mental imprint on him, he never thought that he could ever be anything better than he was. He saw the world as a place too vast to consider him significant to any of its machinations.

Now that he was seated to go into a relationship with someone he would probably have no attraction towards the idea repulsed him. So would he also give birth to a kid he wouldn't fully love or would he also be a father that would never be present in the life of his own son?
