Recovery-2

Thousands of telekinetic tentacles were spread out and Alex looked at his status sheet in which the skill portion was filled with all sorts of skills.

He looked like a terrifying existence pondering on the laws of the universe as the telekinesis was used to its 'current' utmost potential to absorb the cores and recover.

"Time to clean up."

With the utterance of that statement, the skills on his status screen were deleted and profound energy gathered to gush into his body and nourish it along with his injured soul.

The feeling of getting stronger within short intervals of time and attaining higher levels of strength shortly, was an incredible feeling and anyone who felt it once would always be eager to feel it again. it was intoxicating and exhilarating.

It felt like the elevation of his existence and the comfortable feeling he got from having his soul healed and the body recovered was euphoric. His injured soul trembled with joy and happiness as the energy spread inside him. His mind felt refreshed.

The mana was swirling in the air and the wind trembled as his aura recovered and spread out wildly. It had become even stronger than before. Elevating his level of power even further ahead

His mana core was getting rejuvenated and his body getting filled with vitality and it was getting stronger by the second.

The mana inside his mana core became denser as the impurities in his body were getting expelled from his body and his soul was trembling in excitement from the feeling of it getting stronger.

'Hmm!'

He hummed and was nearly addicted to the feeling of getting strong faster.

As the changes subsided and the mana calmed down and his aura relaxed along with his body, a feeling of himself becoming stronger spread out from inside his body.

He removed the impurities which were less than before and changed his clothes.

He could feel that his soul had recovered mostly from the injury caused by the clone and he could attain a new level of strength if he could reabsorb the clone.

Although his body and mana core became more compact and denser respectively. His soul still felt something missing as if it was incomplete.

"Hmm," hummed Alex as he started walking forward with his hands behind his back and the brown belt dangling on the left side of his waist. he mostly liked to wear black pants and a white shirt.

The sounds of the goblins screaming about rang from ahead as they spawned at a regular interval and so the new ones hadn't been killed yet.

Alex walked forward as the telekinetic tentacles floated around him and he thought about his next course of action because he had a feeling that the clone had gone to the graveyard dungeon for which it was made. Sort of like instincts or maybe curiosity.

'If it isn't so, then I'll have to look for it.'

'What a drag.'

The clone wasn't obedient but maybe it had subconsciously followed the orders as an instinct. He hoped.

"That dungeon will be dangerous, and I can go to the world of the goblins, or wherever this portal leads, to get stronger and get the clone back."

Swish!

Gukkh!

The screams of a goblin resounded in the rainforest as a stray goblin had come close to him but before it could even react it was slaughtered with the help of telekinesis. He killed it and continued killing them all in a relaxed manner and seemingly not even looking. His mind adapted very quickly to everything as if he had no problems killing anyone.

"Although my soul is not complete, the effects of strengthening on an existential level is showing as I can 'feel' from far away."

With the strengthening of his soul and body along with mana, his senses were very sharp and he could hear from far away.

'It doesn't seem to be the legendary soul sense, or maybe I am wrong but soul sense should be something like 'looking' by using one's soul.'

'So, I can say that soul sense allows someone to spread out their soul force and map out an image of their surroundings. it may sound similar to the telekinetic radar but the two are incomparable to one another.'

So he walked and felt his surroundings in a detailed manner as the humid air pressed against his body and the heat emanating from the ground as the moisture in the atmosphere made it hard to even breathe properly and the pungent smell of the blood spilled around. It made the urge to vomit grow stronger but the telekinesis was used to protect himself from that smell by blocking it out of his nose.

As the miserable cries of the goblins reverberated in the forest and the trees were parted to reveal Alex right in front of the portal leading to the world of the goblins.

"Graveyard dungeon or the world of the goblins?" he asked out and didn't have to wait for much longer as a gloomy feeling spread in his soul as if it was a cloud of uncertainty and he immediately had a bad premonition.

'What is this feeling?'

He immediately decided to go to the graveyard dungeon first.

He made a few clones and left them there and sped toward the portal leading to the world outside.

He warped outside the portal of the goblin dungeon and reabsorbed his clones and then made a few more to replace them while moving. He used Telekinesis to fly and he also used small bursts of mana below his feet to increase his speed.

'This sense of urgency....could it be because of getting stronger, My sixth sense for danger has started to develop to a terrific level.

He did not know in detail but he felt that letting that dumb clone die would be very detrimental to himself.

Booming sounds echoed in the distance as Alex sped toward the ferenzi city to head to the graveyard dungeon.

Before he got close to the city he changed his way of transmission and landed on the ground to reach there without inviting suspicions towards himself.

'Damnit! Massive amounts of cultivators have arrived to grind in the dungeons. And it's even more so because of the reputation of Ferenzi city.' he sighed with frustration.

In this world, the strong was respected and it was definite that everyone needed to rely on someone or something to not have their mind and resolve broken under the mindless pressure of endless cultivation. They had to reduce some of their burdens.

And so there were a large number of rogue cultivators that were traveling towards the ferenzi city for employment. The big families seldom recruited people to work for them as they weren't trusted or just weren't up to the standard. of course, the mercenaries were a different case.

But this incident was a great opportunity for them to Ally themselves with a great faction. This caused a large number of rogue cultivators to flock towards the ferenzi city.

And it also prevented Alex to fly unhindered in the sky without being noticed.

So running on the ground was the correct choice, although it slowed him down. Alex ran through the bushes and around the trees which caused him to slow down and get impatient because he was feeling very anxious.

Although he didn't care much about this particular clone but if it was killed then the part he was missing wouldn't be recovered ever and he was having a bad feeling about that.

His heart beat faster as his soul quivered slightly once in a while and he sped up to reach the graveyard dungeon straight away because of the bad feeling in his heart.

Alex stopped near the dungeon and didn't enter hastily.

He could feel the aura coming out of the dungeon and a chilling presence emanating out of it.

This caused him to understand that the importance given to this dungeon was not unfounded.

But he still had to enter as the life of his clone could most possibly decide his future accomplishments because his potential would be destroyed because of the incomplete soul.

But he didn't enter rashly because guards were patrolling around the area. keeping watch over their surroundings to inform their higher-ups If anything unforeseen happened. But he didn't have an understanding of his current strength or he would have rushed in without a care.

The guards were wary of the dungeon with nervousness exuding from their bodies and praying that anything unexpected didn't happen but they didn't have to wait anymore for this unexpected event as Alex was having an uncomfortable feeling and he constantly had thought of entering the dungeon and a strong urge to reabsorb the clone.

So without waiting any longer, he decided to just go for it.

Shaa!

The atmosphere chilled a little and the guards became cautious of their surroundings and looked around to find nobody.

A shocking boom reverberated in the distance as the portal of the graveyard dungeon rippled for a second as a torrent of air rushed towards them from the distance.

The gust of wind hit their bodies but didn't cause any harm to them. They were shocked at first and scared to death nearly. A cold sweat broke down on their heads as a shiver ran down their spine.

They recovered their bearings after a while and were shocked at the incident and rushed to notify their respective higher-ups about the anomaly.
