“What do they want here?” Dominic frowned.
He was not in a frame to take more disrespect. One man bowed his head and said, “Good day Alpha. Your granddad, Alpha Orion calls you to his Pack grounds for getting ready to make you the Alpha.” “The moment has come!” They expect him to be thrilled and break into a grin but Dominic gives the reverse. He puts his hand inside his pocket, looking back and forth like somebody lost in his own brain. The men tilt their heads, staring into his face to see what’s off. They finally speak up. “What’s the Dominicer, Alpha?” He wets his lips a bit to buy time for his response. As he lifts his head, he gives a firm reply. “I’m not set yet.” He wants to spin around and go but they grab his arm. Even with the fight with them, they won’t let him slip away. “Why Alpha?” They spoke their words with lots of honor. Dominic figured they would disrespect him as others have. “Since I have plenty to fix in my household before I get another task.” He wants to give his mate and her mom extra moments if they will get better so if they don’t and he strikes back at them, he won’t carry guilt. “But the command comes from above you, so you must follow.” They push him. “You’ve been away this entire stretch, before his command and he’s getting worn. Someone has got to grab the reins of rule.” “He has summoned you to hand you the New Alpha Takeover Contract to put your mark on,” the second man said slowly. Dominic’s chest moved hard, thinking back to his birth mom and her moments. Dominic made his way to the Pack grounds, “White Lycan Pack Estate” with its stunning style and rich rooms. He felt envy for him getting to remain in such fancy spaces all this period while he was sent out to keep his birth a mystery and also pick up about the world outside before arriving back. In his center, he didn’t figure his arrival would happen this quickly. “At last you showed, my boy,” an older man said, rolling on a sitting device. Dominic bent his sight to him and got sympathy for how the fellow once tough is now a fragile man. “My kid, you must have gone hungry but it was a growing period for you. I will be going soon and I want to pass you this pack and our firm bunch to run,” his pops tried to lay out his spot. He wants his boy back as the head of the Orion clan. Dominic ran his nails through his locks. I indeed got the lesson of cash and effort. “Please, my kid. Step into the pack and the firm and remain with me in these grounds. It’s my final ask before I go,” his grandpop begged. Dominic got to see the letdown in his grandpop’s sight. So, he gave in to his grandpop and took his ask. “Okay, Grandfather. I will mull it over. But first I got to set my family straight.” Dominic gave a calm grin to him. His grandpop let out a big gasp in relief. Like a big strain got taken off his soul. Now, he is able to rest with no strain. “Okay, my kid. My money guy will push plenty of cash into your funds if you need any support, please don’t turn it away” Grandfather waved one of his guys to do it. Dominic didn’t want to clash with his grandpop anymore. So he shifted his head, taking his ask. “Sir, I am glad that you finally have your boy back. So, when are we throwing the bash to mark this,” the boss said to Grandfather. As he got proud that Orion Heir is back. And he will run the spot as a legit boss. He’s got tons of firms worth heaps of bucks. From big shots in power to the huge names in biz, Alpha Orion is the top dog. They all show respect to him. Dominic makes his trip back so happy for what he’s turned into, his Grandfather has brought him in and he is a money man. Even if he told him to come stay with him, he won’t truly for right now, he just said yes to give him peace. He will hold it shut from his mate and blow her brain. “But how do I fix my house if I don’t grab charge of all as the boss of the pad?” He talks to himself. “Should I keep going after Aurora like a robot? When do things shift?” His spell of being trash is closing and if he wants to grab the pack, the start spot has to be his house, his spouse, and his kid. Every bit has to fit. As he goes up to his room, Aurora is sitting at the seat like a devil, folding her arms and giving him a mean stare. He spots her then his chest got warm with glee, seeing what he’s turned into. “At last, you made it home,” Dominic said, making steps toward her. She halted him by putting her hand on his face. “It’s my crib. Not yours. So, sure I will be back home. I am not like you, a servant to whom I am giving a space to hang,” she pushed out her nose and hit his face. He felt the pain but he wanted to put this to rest. He looks down, being like the loyal mate. “Go and tidy my space now,” she said loudly at him. After getting her space neat, he’s about to go back to his spot when Aurora stops him on the route with their boy in her grip. “Where are you heading?” “To my room, I’m beat.” “Hmm,” she makes a mean face. “When you didn’t bring in the full sum of cash, you want to go and hit the hay?” “What am I meant to do?” “Sick, you are asking what you’re meant to do?” “Yep,” he nods. “You’re gonna go down, grab the auto key from the top, and get back to the job.” “I don’t get you? Am I meant to drive at night? It’s not fine, it’s unsafe.“Latest Chapter

Aurora sat motionless in the empty conference room. The proposal that had taken months to prepare lay untouched on the polished table.Rejected.One word. One decision.Everything she had worked toward was slipping through her fingers.Helen was the first to recover."This is ridiculous!" she snapped. "He's only doing this to get revenge."One of the Apex executives looked at her calmly."Mrs. Hart, Chairman Pierce made it very clear. Your proposal was reviewed according to company standards."Helen scoffed."Don't lie to me!"The executive closed his folder."Whether he knew you or not, the proposal contained major financial risks. It would not have been approved."Aurora lowered her head. For the first time, she wondered whether Dominic had truly been fair.Had she mistaken justice for revenge?Meanwhile, on the top floor of Apex Tower...Dominic stood inside his new office.Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the skyline of Los Angeles. The office was elegant but understated.Charl

The conference room fell into complete silence.Every executive stood with their backs straight, their eyes fixed on the doorway.Aurora adjusted her jacket and forced a confident smile. Helen leaned forward eagerly, expecting to see a powerful business tycoon in his sixties.Footsteps echoed down the hallway.Steady.Calm.Unhurried.Then the doors swung open.Charles Whitmore entered first. The silver-haired gentleman carried himself with quiet authority.Every executive bowed respectfully."Good morning, Mr. Whitmore."Charles gave a slight nod before stepping aside."Please welcome the Executive Chairman of Apex Corporation."Another figure walked into the room.Aurora's smile disappeared. Her eyes widened.Helen's mouth fell open."No..." she whispered.Dominic.He wore a perfectly tailored black suit that fit him like it had been made for him alone. The first rays of dawn crept over the Pierce Estate, painting the mountain peaks in shades of gold.Dominic had not slept. He stood on the balcony outside his old bedroom, staring at the city below. Five years ago, he had walked away from unimaginable wealth to prove he could build a life through love instead of power. Now he understood.Love without respect became chains.A knock sounded on the door."Come in."Charles entered with a tailored black suit draped over one arm."Your clothes, Young Master."Dominic looked at the expensive suit before smiling faintly."I almost forgot what it feels like to wear something that actually fits."Charles smiled."You never forgot who you were. You simply chose to hide it."After changing, Dominic walked downstairs to the grand dining hall.Alpha Augustus Pierce was already waiting with several Pack Elders and executives from Apex Corporation. The atmosphere turned respectful the moment Dominic entered.Every person stood."Good morning, Young

Dominic sat motionless behind the steering wheel. The city lights of Los Angeles blurred through the windshield as Charles' words echoed in his mind."Your time among ordinary people has come to an end."For five years, he had lived as Dominic Hart.A struggling rideshare driver.A mocked son-in-law.A husband who endured insults for the sake of the woman he loved. But before all of that...He had been Dominic Orion Pierce, the sole heir of the Crescent Moon Pack."Young Master?" Charles' voice came through the phone again."I'm here," Dominic answered quietly."Your grandfather requests that you return tonight."Dominic closed his eyes."I'll be there.""We'll send a car.""No."Dominic glanced at the worn steering wheel of the vehicle he drove every day."I'll come on my own.""As you wish, Young Master."The call ended.Dominic looked at the passenger seat where Carl had once fallen asleep after insisting on riding with him during a weekend shift.A faint smile crossed his face."I

The alarm on Dominic Hart's phone rang at exactly 5:00 a.m.He opened his eyes before the second ring. The small storage room he slept in was barely large enough for a single bed. The walls were cracked, and the ceiling fan squeaked every few seconds. It had once been a pantry before Helen decided it was "good enough" for her son-in-law.Dominic sat up slowly, rubbing the bruise on his cheek.Aurora's slap from the previous night still stung. He had returned home with only six hundred and twenty dollars after driving passengers across Los Angeles for nearly sixteen hours. Her daily target was eight hundred dollars.Falling short meant punishment."Dominic!"Helen's sharp voice echoed from downstairs."If you're awake, stop pretending and get down here!"He exhaled quietly.Another day.Another round of humiliation. After washing his face, he walked into the kitchen.Helen was already waiting with her arms folded."You finally decided to show your useless face."Without another word, s

“Good day, Mr. Ben Marco. Thrilled to have you take up my ask.”“It’s a treat.” He fired back with a grin.“You can have your spot.” He pointed to him to sit back.“Thanks.” He said quickly. Both dudes sat down. Ben Marco was a man in his sixties but he had no less regard for Dominic cause of his rank.He was one of those who got Dominic asking if he was truly the one all these regards were sent to, a dude that was beaten down by his own mate cause he was broke.“My bad sir, I mean no issue.” The helper who was behind him said quietly.“I think I can go back to my work spot as told?”“By who?” Dominic snapped, asking which staff would be above him.“By Mr Orion.”“Oh!” He figured it was a staff that had this tell.“He told me to show you off here and then go back to keep doing the jobs he gave me.” Mr Dominic said more.“You can go,” he waved his hand. He would look at how stuff was run once he got fully set, and shift some bits to what he liked.“You can ring me with the mark three o
