“You want to fight back with me? Moving forward you’ll be driving the whole day and the whole night since you can’t earn money when the sun is up. Get out now!” She yells. “Even when I’m making an effort to get you to be helpful, you’re still as bad as before.”

“Please let me grab my top from my space!” Aurora hits him hard on his rear as he goes past her. She makes a mean face, she’s so fed up with him.

Dominic comes back dressed and still has to face her, staring at him with her vile stare, she’s like the spawn of darkness himself, he’s grinning at her inside his soul and will pay her back for all she’s giving to him when his moment shows up.

“Make sure you bring in a grand to two grands in cash. I won’t permit you to lie down in this spot if you don’t hit that. Get back before midnight sharp, or else you’re napping in the vehicle. Got it?”

“Yes, Aurora!”

“Hey, did you lose your brain? Who’s your spouse? Never say my name, I’m above you. It’s either you call me boss or you just reply to what I’m asking, don’t you have manners or do you think I’m in your broke, useless group?”

“No boss, my fault.”

“Will you get away from my face now! I don’t want to see you in a flash or else my temper is gonna blow on you..” Dominic rushed down the steps before the flash she was talking of.

He goes to the sitting area, the key is on the shelf, he gets it, and goes out of the flat. It’s pouring hard outside, but he didn’t get word of this from inside.

“I’m gonna be the one to give her what she deserves, I’m gonna hurt her more than this.” He makes a vow to himself as he gets to the auto and takes off.

The rain gets more intense on the way, but it’s not to find riders but to go to his grandpop’s grounds which is now his spot.

He texts him with his small phone, letting them know to push the gate open for him. In thirty minutes flat, he gets to the pack grounds.

He stops the auto at the parking spot, and the guard guys are standing with an umbrella to take him to the lodge.

He takes a long breath inside him, seeing the regard he’s getting right here but when he goes to his spouse and her mom, they treat him like filth.

When he moves through the glass entry at the front of the structure, the guy goes back.

He gets in the lift. He can’t help but take in the nice feel at each of the levels, it looks like a fantasy to him that every bit of this is his, from his pops.

Orion, his grandpop, is at the foot of the last level to greet him.

“Welcome my kid,” he spreads out his arms for a big hug for Dominic. He moves into it and his old man wraps him up firm.

“Why are you soaking?”

“I was in the pouring rain before getting here, pops.”

“What do you mean? I’m stunned to hear this.”

“I strolled from my spouse’s flat to the rideshare cab which was sitting at the garage, then it was still pouring, that’s why I’m wet.”

“What in the world is she doing! Why is she treating you like a worker?” Dominic tries to bring his pops down, he’s got his scheme.

“Pops, I’m her worker but soon, she’ll be my worker.”

“I don’t grasp what you’re doing, why are you putting up with all of it even when you’ve turned into the new Alpha, your fresh rank, and have turned into a money man?”

“Pops,” he chooses to name him, as a brief way to say it.

“You asked me about this and I told you, you know the sort of individual Aurora is and her mom, if I’m game to still be with her, you must know what is on my mind.”

“Fine, but for how much time? I pray you don’t pass away one day from the rough treatment they’re putting on you.”

“Don’t talk like that pops, my fresh rank makes me so hard even with all the rough stuff that gets in my path. I am aware that soon those who are hurting me will come to bend a knee at my feet.”

“I’m with you, can’t hold out to witness that.” Orion shouts a ‘yes.’ He’s so thrilled now he’s got his boy back.

He was gonna blow it all in a short bit. Every bit of that stress is gone now, and he’s more thrilled than ever.

“I got here to greet you, plus what we chat about now will be very big, I’ve got a thing to display to you.”

“Wow, for real? What is it?” Dominic asks?

“It’s gonna be a shock, you should just hang tight to see it.”

He gets him by the hand through the open area which is clear and you can see the dirt a bunch of steps down from the top, the roads are lit up with gold shine on the grounds.

From the last level, he can see that these grounds look so much like a metropolis, he got the roads mixed up to be the far-off world.

“I got a ton of facts to chat, a bunch of things to show you.”

“But pops, I got to get back by 11 PM, so I can make it at around 11:30 PM, she told me to get back by midnight sharp.”

“Hmmm, this is 8:45 PM. Hold up, not every bit will get done this round.”

“That’s cool pops.” He steps up his pace going right behind into a lower spot with his pops showing the way.

Being the Alpha, Orion’s got an underground pit store where he puts most of the key files of the pack and the Apex Group, plus their hidden lineage facts. The first thing Dominic has to get skilled in is this and his grandpop is all set to walk him through this.

Even if he won’t pick up all bits in a single dark, he gets that he’s got to jump into the key stuff. With time, Dominic will get as sharp as him and will turn into a true fit Alpha.

Dominic is blown away as his Grandfather walks him to the deep part, showing him all his tricks, riches, and even those bits no one is aware of.

“Grandfather, I never felt that one day, I’d be met with this wealth, I’m so pleased and glad. I felt it was all done when you put me out.”

“I know you would, it’s all good. It’s a normal thing for you to be thrilled.”

“I wanted to ask a question of you, grandfather.“
