They weren’t excited.

If anything, they were afraid for their own lives. For their own integrity.

It was too high a stake to even dare conceive failing.

However, it was also a moment where if they succeeded, history would be corrected, things would go back to how they used to be, friends would be reunited.

Evil would be put back to where it belonged.

Bert planned, the others gave their opinions when they thought some of it was incoherent, or simply pure blatant nonsense.

Days passed by before their plan was completely formed and they were well equipped enough to dare leave Bert’s place, but eventually the time came, and despite the fear they felt, they moved with the sense of purpose.

They moved with the will to finish it once and for all.
