The Night Fowler the vigilante who hunts organized crime.
Abel Scott put on the night Fowler suit when he was so angry at his parents' deaths. He did it in an attempt to get back at lord Ammon Vandel.
Abel Scott laid to rest the Night Fowler when he found out that Sarah had gone blind in her attempt to save him. He married her and crafted another plan to take revenge on his parents' murderers.
“You think that deal saves you when you come after what's mine?” Abel Scott said, slamming the head of the thug into a jukebox.
” What's yours?” Obadiah Simons asked, looking confused.
Obadiah Simons’ machine pistol barked, releasing short, controlled bursts that chewed up the floor and splintered the bar Abel Scott hid behind.
Abel Scott rolled, grabbed a broken chair leg, and threw it. It got caught by the mezzanine railing making Obadiah Simons flinch.
Abel Scott yanked a flashbang from his belt and tossed it overhead.
Bang!
Light and sound tore through the room. Obadiah Simons staggered, perplexed. Abel Scott moved at lightning speed. He kicked a thug and elbowed another to the ground.
Obadiah Simons fired aimlessly, bottles exploding and raining glasses.
“Where are you, Night Fowler!?” Obadiah Simons screamed, still disoriented.
“I am here!” Abel Scott said, butting him to the ground with his knee.
Obadiah Simons fell to the floor, his machine pistol clattering over the mezzanine. He crawled to get away from Abel.
Abel Scott placed an arm on his shoulder, and in split seconds, Obadiah hit him with the small fire extinguisher, breaking Abel Scott’s thermal G****e.
Abel looked up, the hall was empty.
“Running already, Simons?” Abel Scott growled, removing the goggles from his eyes.
Obadiah burst through the window onto the rain-slick rooftop. The night wind hit Abel Scott's face as he pursued Obadiah onto the roof. He slammed into him, both of them crashing against the roof edge.
“You want to make SARAH blind again!” Abel Scott screamed, striking heavily on Obadiah's chin. Obadiah struck back.
He locked his hands around Abel Scott’s throat “Are you not Abel Scott?” Obadiah Simons queried, finally seeing his face.
Abel Scott reached for the pliers on his belt, rapidly driving the metal handles into Obadiah's ribs. Obadiah Simons growled, loosening his grip on Abel.
Abel Scott twisted and slammed his face twice into the parapet. “Yes, I am Abel Scott. And I am the night Fowler”
Abel Scott locked his arms around Obadiah's neck “Who sent you?” he asked, choking him.
“Lisa” Obadiah Simons whispered.
“Louder! I can't hear” Abel screamed.
“Lisa Lawrence” Obadiah Simons muttered, barely breathing. He tapped on Abel arms grasping for air.
“Lisa Lawrence of Lady Natasha?” Abel Scott said, letting go of his neck.
“Yes, that Lisa." Obadiah said, catching his breath.
“She said Sarah does not get to enjoy luxury after stopping the family from moving up in the echelon of power in the city” He coughed dryly.
“She was also behind the burning of the mansion,” Obadiah Simons added.
“Swear fealty to me” Abel Scott said, placing a knife on Obadiah's throat.
“I swear!” Obadiah Simon said, screaming and shaking.
“I swear. I’ll serve you in whatever capacity you want from me Abe Scott”
“Good, I will be needing your services very soon,” Abel Scott said, rising up from his weak body, Abel dragged Obadiah back into the bar.
He bent over, picked the pliers, placed Obadiah Simon’s fingers on the table and cut them off piece by piece. Each cut is filled with more hate than the previous.
“This is for Sarah” He said, hitting the hands with a baseball bat nearby, splitting the wrist into two.
In the distance, sirens wailed. “I am coming for all of yours, Lisa” Abel Scott turned his bike, disappearing into the night.
