92. Princess Sue left not long after dropping the bombshell. Adrian stood there for a long time, staring at the door like it might open again. Like she might come back so they could speak some more on what the hell she was talking about. He ran a hand through his hair and let out a sigh. "Someone pretending to be her. What does that even mean?” He muttered as he went back into his chambers. "Who the hell can do something like that?" He stopped by the window, looking out at the dark courtyard below. Assuming the princess was right, there was only one other question he had left. “How long has this been happening? How the fuck am I supposed to help her with something I can't even see?" 92.Adrian’s expression hardened almost immediately.He didn’t laugh. He didn’t dismiss her.That alone made Sue pause.“You believe me?” she asked quietly.“I believe that you believe it,” Adrian said carefully, his mind already racing ahead. “And I believe something is very wrong in this palace.”That wasn’t comfort. 91. Adrian was in the middle of genuinely losing his shit when he heard a knock at the door. He hoped ignoring it would make it go away. 90. At the centre of the throne room sat Prince Henry. "They're here, Your Highness." A guard announced. Henry nodded, posing further with his chest out. "Let them in." The doors opener and well dressed, calm, and very observant looking people walked in. Their eyes didn't miss anything. A man with a beard walked to stand in front of the king. "Prince Henry." 89. Adrian got out of his room and took a look around. To his relief, people weren't exactly pointing at him or saying irritating things as much.
