Adrian's Awakening: Wake up in the magical world

The Darkside Specialist Academy in the new world was fantastic.

It looked like a castle out of a tale of dark medieval stories where evil seems to reign more than good.

The towers have been built on rocks, and the academy was located at a very considerable height as seen from the ground and in the sky.

At the beginning, Adrian felt scared, nervous because he had to use a high-tech flying skateboard to gain entrance to the academy. For Ally, it was very easy to use it, she only had to jump on it, the skateboard gave off smoke and following the orders of her body began to move through the air with agility, without fear of falling to the ground.

For his part, Adrian looked at his skateboard, not knowing how the hell he should use it, when he saw Ally do it, it seemed so easy, but just when it was his turn, terror took over him, since in his world, once upon a time, he got to play on these things, but not in those that could fly, his were different, they were used with small wheels, and you had to keep your balance to avoid falling.

These were different, much more extreme, and the distance he would have to fly to the door of the academy was very considerable, being a novice in the use of these advanced technologies.

“Ally! Come here, help me! I don't know how to use this thing!”, Ally had already gained some distance before Adrian urgently called out to her and brought her back.

“What's wrong? Oh, I get it, you don't know how to handle one of these? But I already explained it to you, look how easy it is to use, it's even fun, once you learn, you won't want to let go of it”, the girl moved as if nothing in the air, the skateboard wouldn't let go of her feet, and she was comfortable enough to endure an hour-long trip on that means of transportation.

Adrian watched her with fascination, she was the cutest, funniest, and most different girl he had ever met in his entire life.

“Okay, I'll give it a try,” Adrian decided.

Ally smiles, and stays in position with the skateboard raised in the air, waiting for Adrian to respond to her first attempt.

Adrian took a breath, and when his body relaxed, he took the first jump and got on the skateboard, immediately, the skateboard ignited, and the smoke came out, the engine started and Adrian felt his body wobbling back and forth, that at any moment he would fall, but he decided not to be overcome by fear, and advanced upwards, in the direction of the academy.

Ally kept walking behind him, watching out for him, that he was not going to be so clumsy as to let himself fall several meters downward without knowing where his final blow would be.

“Look, Ally, I'm doing it!” shouted Adrian to the girl behind him, happily riding her own skateboard.

“You're doing great, but be careful, if you don't look straight ahead you're going to fall because you might lose your balance,” Ally's advice had come too late.

In the midst of his instability, one of Adrian's feet slipped off the edge of the skateboard, and finding no way to hold on because there was no ground around him, Adrian ended up slipping and falling into the abyss. His skateboard turned off, since they only worked when he felt a person's body on them. Otherwise, they would always be off.

Adrian was falling with speed from a promising height, feeling very scared of the impact he would soon receive, as he didn't know if he would survive or not.

Ally descended towards him as fast as he could, but the speed of the skateboard was not enough to reach him.

It was then that at that moment, when Adrian saw all was lost, when the earth was about to receive him, the boy felt a potent and magical power take hold of him, a circle of almost invisible ultraviolet light was drawn around him, and finally, the descent slowly slowed.

Adrian's eyes closed as soon as the fall began, but as he reached the ground, they opened, and he saw perfectly that his body was levitated above the ground. The grass beneath him was swaying back and forth thanks to the strong blizzard of wind released by his body. Adrian sighed, feeling calmer, knowing that there would be no more blows for him that day.

To his surprise, Ally had followed him from his skateboard to that destination point, she had been the only witness to what happened.

“Adrian! Are you okay?” asked Ally, worried, she got off the skateboard, and it went out, before it fell to the ground, with a quick maneuver, Ally took it in her hands.

Soon, the bubble of ultraviolet light that covered Adrian disappeared, and without falling, Adrian put his feet on the ground, as if nothing had happened.

“Yes, I am. Did you see that? That was great!” said Adrian, amused, but for Ally it wasn't, and she ended up punching him in the shoulder so hard that that one really hurt.

“Auch, Ally! Can you come down a little to your strength? You're hurting me,” he whined, his hand caressing his man and he hugged himself.

“No, you deserve that for being useless. You almost killed yourself, you end up laughing like that was a good joke?” she was angry, and spoke seriously.

“Yeah, well. Sorry, anyway, can we go back to the academy?” he suggested.

“Yes, we have to. Classes start in less than 10 minutes and I have to go back to getting scolded by my teacher and humiliated by my fellow students in the Art of Resilience class in front of Titans. Since, thanks to someone, I didn't get to cut off the head of the giant I was targeting, and sadly, I'll have to retake that subject for the third time,” Ally sounded resigned, offended, and at the same time, angry.

“I'm sorry, how many times do I have to tell you before you stop throwing it in my face,” Adrian folded his arms, pretending to feel angry and pouting.

Ally smiled.

“Okay, hurry up and let's go. We'll be late, and at the academy they're very strict about lateness. But, if your skateboard fell somewhere else where we don't know, how are you going to make it so we can get up there?”, Ally asked.

“Mm, well. Maybe, I can get back by doing this.”

Adrian took position, and raising his arms, closing his eyes and being very patient, and building up his energy, his body began to ascend in the air, but this time, he did it without the help of a sphere of ultraviolet light, then, as he went up, his body remained stable, his magic responded to his intentions, and Adrian lost his fear, feeling fully confident that he knew what he was doing.

Ally got on her skateboard and followed him.

Finally, they both arrived at the academy, stopped near a line of students entering through the door.
