"The demon lord is still alive!"

Erland stared at the red snow which started to transform into a spirit wandering around the magic veil. Erland could feel the spirits of witches from high levels. So Erland stretched out his hand and this spirit that looked like smoke touched Erland.

"Who made you like this?" Erland asked slowly.

The witch who looked small and like a woman started to shout while crying, "please return my body sir! I still want to live!"

"I will give you justice, but tell me what happened?" asked Erland increasingly curious.

"One night I was kidnapped sir, as soon as I opened my eyes I was in prison. Although it is not clear who I was kidnapped by, but I know that they are people from the palace."

Erland glanced at princess Adaline who was also trying to communicate. "Were you taken to the queen's residence that night?"

"Yes! Yes sir! I was taken to the queen's residence, then I was unconscious and suddenly became a wandering spirit. Please help us sir!"

Erland let go of his hand and stared at Adaline. In a hurry Erland brushed aside Adaline's hand, before the king's daughter did the same thing with Erland. Erland's energy was a bit drained, even if only a little. But for a witch with a level like Adaline's daughter, she might become weak because she runs out of energy.

"What are you doing Erland!" Exclaimed Adaline's daughter, apparently not receiving it.

Erland looked serious. "You could die here, if you hold them on purpose. Because they are spirits that have lost their core energy, they need new energy."

Heard about it. Princess Adaline is a bit distant and Erland does everything himself. Listened to some other complaints from the red snow who was an incarnate spirit. Daran seemed to pay attention to Erland, who could handle everything without running out of energy.

"Queen! She's a devil!"

And the last spirit made Erland even more sure. If the queen now is indeed a devil in disguise and lives among witches. Princess Adaline looked mute.

"How do you reveal that the queen is a devil?"

Erland grinned. "You're asking me?"

Princess Adaline sighed. "No! I was muttering just now."

Daran stared at Erland. "Master. Since you already know that the queen is a devil, shouldn't we go back now?"

Erland stared at princess Adaline. "We have to return these two ladies to the group first."

Daran took a deep breath. "There won't be enough time sir."

Erland grinned. "Why do you want to come back so much? Don't you want to see Casey?"

Princess Adaline approached. "As for me, I really want to see the demon Casey. They say the demon king is the most handsome man in the history of Monesta."

Laura immediately pouted when she saw and heard how Erland got along well with Adaline's daughter. Daran, who realized this, immediately smiled. Then Daran approached Laura who was still guarding the magic veil.

"You seem to like Mr. Erland?" Daran asked making Laura glance and frown.

"What woman doesn't like a handsome man like Mr. Erland?" Laura asked again.

"It's better to forget about your love, because Erland is not a man you can like casually," Daran said.

Laura looked disapproved. "Why? Is it because I'm just a little fairy? Even though we're the same age, it's just that a fairy grows slower!"

Laura's hoarse voice echoed through the town of Halton. Erland's head immediately turned and eyes became alert as the air around started to feel bad. Moreover, the snow began to avoid each other.

"Be careful," said Daran, very alert and slightly away from Laura.

"We better get out of Halton town," Daran asked, his face starting to panic.

Looks like something really bad is going to happen. Erland looked at Laura as well as Adaline's daughter. Erland has two lives to be responsible for, lives to protect. And that made Erland take a deep breath. It's really troublesome.

"Remove the veil of magic," Erland begged Laura.

"Yeah," Laura said a little weakly.

Erland began to lead the way. Princess Adaline walked next to Erland, obviously this made Laura frown again. Until Laura's head turned and looked at Daran who was very distant.

"Master must be careful, the demon slayer group will usually come after seeing the magic in Halton town," Gail's voice came again.

However, this time Erland really responded. His body immediately stopped moving. While the eyes looked at Laura, daughter of Adaline and Daran.

"Anyone who uses magic? In this town of Halton, besides Laura?" asked Erland making Daran look serious, Erland began to realize something.

"Only the fairy Laura. But the feeling when listening to the spirits' complaints, the spirits absorb little by little Master Erland's energy?" Daran said at the same time asked.

Erland grinned. "I heard that this group of demon killers will only come out and kill if there is magic in Halton town?"

Daran stared in surprise at Erland. While Laura was the most surprised, so she immediately rushed to the side of Erland and Adaline's daughter. However, Daran was in a hurry to pull the fairy Laura away.

"I could be killed anytime! So let me be by Mr. Erland's side," Laura cried out looking scared.

"We're going to be out of Halton town soon, so you'll be fine as long as you're out," said Daran, slightly irritated with Laura who wanted to keep getting closer to Erland.

But, suddenly the air grew tense and the snow that fell was getting heavier. Erland's eyes bulged when he saw a clear red light approaching as fast as lightning. The light headed towards Laura who was still busy arguing with Daran. Daran himself seemed to know something, so he immediately moved away from Laura.

"Watch out," said Erland with a slightly panicked face.

However, Erland actually made everyone panic. That red light turned out to be a demonic assassin group that stabbed a sword into Erland's stomach. His sword drew to penetrate Erland's body, Erland immediately sat on the ground with his mouth spewing blood.

"Lord Erland!"
